Small and welcoming, with a casual atmosphere. Fantastic food, generous portions, and, in my opinion, fair prices considering the quality and size of the portions. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The attention they paid to one of our guests' food intolerances was also greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. I hope to return as soon as possible.

This informal place is definitely worth a try. It's a typical osteria with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's not very large, so book ahead! The staff is young, attentive, and very friendly. The dishes we enjoyed are those you see in the photos. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Then there's the owner, who is also the chef. We really appreciated the way he made the rounds among the tables, saying hello and asking if everything was okay. He's a truly affable and down-to-earth person, happy to chat with his guests. We'll definitely be back! Bravo, bravo!

Not to be missed.
If you love good food and authentic flavors, a visit to Osteria di Medicina is a must.
The restaurant is a beautiful osteria, just as you'd expect. Dark wood interiors, well-spaced tables, and an authentic osteria atmosphere (though the details demonstrate refinement and taste).
The service and cuisine, however, are restaurant-like.
Prices vary, allowing customers to choose based on their budget.
Some dishes are excellently priced, such as the SUBLIMI tagliatelle with ragù (slightly different from a classic tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù, but I assure you, it's worth it) at €14, a generous portion that will satisfy your cravings (the tagliatelle are generous, but so is the exceptional amount of ragù). And, if you want, for €18, the "Giant Portion for Heroes" (that's exactly what it's called!), which is a real challenge for those brave enough to order it.
Other dishes are more pretentious and even expensive, like the Fassona beef tartare with top-notch ingredients and balsamic vinegar spheres, typical of molecular gastronomy (an extremely sophisticated preparation), which costs 26 euros. It's not a cheap dish, but it's definitely worth trying.
I've put the price range at 30-40 euros, but at this point it's easy to see that you can go well beyond that, depending on the dishes you order and the wine you pair them with.
The secret to the kitchen is Chef Alessio Battaglioli (no doubt supported by a top-notch staff), who boasts a résumé at prestigious restaurants (starting at the Diana in Bologna and continuing on to the Villa d'Este in Cernobbio, where he held titles such as Chef of the Mediterranean). In addition to his culinary talent, he combines a great sense of humor and passion for his work, which he displays every day at the end of service, emerging from his realm (the kitchen) to greet and thank the customers seated at their tables, to engage with them, confirm their satisfaction, and engage in pleasant conversation.
If you're in the area or are passing through and, like me, love good food, don't miss this experience.

Excellent traditional cuisine
...I'm not a big eater, but I appreciate the fact that Grandma Jole's stewed ragù was easily digested.

Nooooooooo..... You don't understand then.
Tagliatelle, right? We're talking about tagliatelle, right? We're talking about inns where they make real, old-fashioned tagliatelle, right? This review is for a fantastic person who has created a fantastic network of good things. You don't have to be a genius to become someone when that someone has a passion that shows in every dish they bring you. I think God is making the ragù himself in his kitchen. Really good, splendid tagliatelle. His name is Mister Tagliatelle or Tagliatellamen, but whatever you do, know that when you come in, if you find a table, obviously because you have to call two weeks in advance, so you can already imagine why... I can't help but recommend a place like the old days where you eat like the old days and the people are what they should be. Fantastically humble!!!!!

This is my second time here. Always a wonderful culinary experience. A typical Osteria with Romagna dishes enhanced by the chef.
The portions are more than generous and very tasty.
