05/04/2024: A mouthwatering, elevated culinary experience with a delicious twist of local ingredients and flavours. This place definitely sets itself apart from the dozens of surrounding restaurants. Not only with their fabulous menu, but also with the family-run vibe felt from the time you walk in to the time you leave. I go back every time I’m in Cattolica.

02/04/2024: Fantastic! I was looking for vegan options and came across this gem! I was a bit fooled by the name, mistakenly thinking it was a simple pub with kitchen but instead it is a nice little restaurant with some truly original offerings. The staff is very courteous, we felt pampered and the dishes were delicious and original. The vegan panna cotta is amazing! It seems normal since the consistency is perfect. Ah! I almost forgot! The beer is also very good.

29/03/2024: We were there for lunch with two small kids. The chef was helping us with the menu since he spoke English. The food was very yummy and they were very kind and warm.

03/03/2024: There is no parking nearby. Place located in the centre. I recommend booking. Tasty dishes, revisited, not abundant. Yes, he prefers quality over quantity. Courteous service. Still old fashioned place. Medium-high prices.

06/04/2024: 60 minutes of waiting to eat a piadina and a watercress. Good and cheap food, but exasperating wait. Recommended for takeaway, avoid consumption on site. The few tables are the last to be served. We may have had an unlucky evening.

20/02/2024: We are long- time Massimo fans and had high expectations for the meal. It was nine courses that nourished our inner child, our creativity and our passion for food. A triumph of Italian cuisine at a stunning location in the Modenese countryside. There were incredible flavours and combinations we have never seen or heard of before, executed to perfection. The most famous (and most awaited) dishes - Five Ages of Parmiggiano, The Crunchy Part of a Lasagne, Oops! I dropped the Lemon Tart - lived up to all the expectations and hype. I will never be able to eat beef / veal again after the spin-painted veal - the most divine meat I have ever tasted and such a beautiful dish, honestly breathtaking. The chefs executed Massimo’s vision to such a high standard, all staff were incredibly friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Our server was attentive, never let a water glass empty, and offered us to take a photo with the chefs at the end of the meal which was a very nice touch. The Sommelier giving introductions to each dish was funny, engaging and informative. Kudos for giving every intro in 2 languages - no mean feat, and he made it look effortless. As a non-drinker, I have been to meals before where wine is pushed at each course. At the start, I stated I didn’t drink, glasses were removed and it wasn’t offered again. Very respectful, and exactly how other restaurants should run. Finally, the communal tables added a warm community vibe to the evening, meeting others from different walks of life and sharing the experience of incredible food was an experience we will never forget. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the staff for such a wonderful experience. We will be back.

15/02/2024: The place is welcoming and hospitable. The staff is well trained and very friendly. The food was excellent and presented very well.... and I went back. Optimal!!! Once again Antonio amazed me with his desserts.
