31/05/2026: We had a fantastic dinner here. The food was delicious and came out quickly, but what truly made our evening was the staff. The young service team was incredibly polite, energetic, and attentive. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this place!

28/05/2026: Went just for dinner. Very welcoming place in a beautiful landscape, the Romagna hills. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. But above all, the food was delicious! Excellent Lambrusco risotto, exceptional liver in a net, and delicious fried artichokes! I'll definitely be back.

10/08/2026: Excellent osteria in Maranello offering hearty home-cooked dishes. We ordered a trio of first courses, all of which were truly delicious. The portions were generous, and the staff were very friendly. Recommended.

13/07/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times over the years and have always enjoyed it. For this very reason, the last time I was disappointed was even greater. There were three of us for lunch and we ordered two tortelloni, one tagliatella, one baked ham, some involtini, and a carpaccio, along with a bottle of still water, one sparkling water, half a liter of house wine, and three coffees. No dessert. The bill was €100 (it was originally supposed to be €108). I honestly find this price completely disproportionate to what we ate. Spending over €30 per person for a lunch like this, in such a simple location, seems excessive. If at least the place were particularly well-kept or the service impeccable, I could understand it, but that's not the case here. The place could use more maintenance: for example, the bathroom door was broken, and overall the ambiance absolutely doesn't justify such a high price. The service was also disappointing: the potatoes arrived after we had already finished our main courses. I'm sorry to write this review because I've always had a great experience in the past, but this time, the value for money was, in my opinion, truly unjustifiable. At €100 for three people, I definitely expect a different experience.

14/08/2026: What a lovely little place. I ate really well there. * In the summer, the evening becomes even more charming thanks to the village lights and the various candles lit along the entrance. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

28/03/2026: Honest review: FLORENTINE STEAK SHOULD NOT BE SERVED PRE-CUT. Even though they brought us a grill to keep the dish warm, it was COLD. This happens because it's cut before being served at the table. Consequently, it loses juices and heat, and the "experience" doesn't reflect the quality (if there is any...). The chef should know these things... We ordered the Piedmontese Ox menu, and I quite liked the rest, but I can't say the same about the Florentine steak... it's a premium cut, and you have to be careful how it's served. Also, be careful with the bill: when paying with the POS, the gentleman with gray/white hair entered a certain amount first (the payment didn't go through the first time) and then, on the second attempt, entered the correct amount. I only noticed it afterwards, but I don't think it was a mistake... The prices are fair, but the details that make the difference need to be fixed. Would I go back? Unfortunately, not...

10/08/2026: The zampanelle are truly delicious! So many perfectly paired flavors, both savory and sweet. The vegetarian one, pancetta and gorgonzola, is remarkable, and the one with Nutella and mascarpone cream on the side is superb! An old-fashioned trattoria where you eat well!

25/07/2026: Five stars is not enough! Have you ever heard of "zampanelle"? No, they're not borlenghi, they have various toppings, both sweet and savory. Since I tried them, they've become addictive! Reservations are recommended because the place is always very busy! The staff is friendly and ready to recommend something to suit your tastes! Try it and you won't be able to do without it! Edit: We've been here since 8:15 PM and now, at 10:50 PM, they've only received 3 orders! This slowness is unacceptable! The service has gotten much worse compared to the previous management! Furthermore, we have a table of 14 people next to us who arrived after us and are constantly being served zampanelle! Why?? There are two of us! Furthermore, they told us to absolutely arrive by 8:30 PM and then the huge table that arrived with us is served and revered to our detriment?? Discrimination that I take seriously.

07/06/2026: A wonderful restaurant, with a sea view that has a truly positive effect. The service was incredible, professional, very helpful, and simply delightful. A first-class appetizer: chopped beef tartare, green pasta with sea bass, shrimp, pasta with beef ragu, and for dessert, a heavenly tiramisu—nothing more was needed to end our vacation on a great note. Thank you.

18/08/2026: They have some vegan creamy flavours. They had dark chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio and vanilla almond when we were there (and sorbet flavours). It tasted really good. Portions are rather small, especially the second scoop in a way too small cup. Prices are good. They have a toilet inside.

17/08/2026: One of the best gelatos I've ever eaten! A huge variety of flavors, with classic and unique options (especially noteworthy are the "franui" and "dolce salato"), and vegan options are also available. Seated seating is available, and they also accept dogs. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: We returned to "San Giovanni" two years later, and luckily, nothing has changed. The place is welcoming, the staff friendly and helpful, the fresh ravioli excellent, the lamb shoulder cooked at a very delicate temperature, and the pork ribs in delicious BBQ sauce are delicious. We'll be back, hoping things stay the same.

01/08/2026: We went to this osteria for dinner because we were struck by the good reviews, and the place exceeded our expectations. We ate wonderfully. The pumpkin cappellacci and the appetizer were delicious. The charcuterie and delicious pizzas were exceptional, and the staff were very friendly. If you're in the area like us, I highly recommend it.

30/07/2026: A very nice place in the center of Ferrara...but on a slightly off-the-beaten-path street, making it more intimate. I enjoyed every course for the quality and the flavors, which always exceeded my expectations. The wine list is very extensive. The staff deserves top marks.
