01/11/2025: A discovery during a trip. We ate well, with traditional dishes. Everything was plentiful. I recommend it.

20/10/2025: It may be good, but I didn't get around to trying it. I sat down and waited. Four people were serving, I waved and they looked at me but didn't see me. Even when the next table ordered coffees and was served, I wasn't asked anything. After 15 minutes of waiting, I left. What a shame!

We arrived at your restaurant by choosing your restaurant randomly on Google. We have to compliment you! For the waitresses, for the restaurant, and above all for the food! We dream of a restaurant like this in Bologna! Everything was excellent. We're sorry we didn't try the tagliata because we were greedy with the first courses! I think that when you eat so well in a place, it deserves a great review so that other people who happen to pass by can enjoy such a super delicious lunch! 03/09/2025: I had dinner at the pizzeria with my family. The atmosphere is family-friendly, the pizza is really good, and there's a wide variety to choose from. The service was very friendly; at the end of the meal, we were offered samples of pizza with Nutella and various fruit liqueurs. I highly recommend this pizzeria.

02/09/2025: Four of us spontaneously went there two days ago. Nice ambiance with oriental-looking umbrellas outside and otherwise nicely/differently decorated. Very friendly with a "greeting from the kitchen" beforehand...and after our pizza, we were offered liqueurs and some sweetly prepared pizza dough as a digestif. Great. The pizza comes on paper plates and the drinks (some of which are special sodas or beers) come in plastic cups, but that doesn't detract from the friendly service, the ambiance, or the delicious food! We'll be back!

21/10/2025: There were seats available in the restaurant and we were refused, who knows why

20/10/2025: Passing through Piacenza, we decided to have lunch here. Nice place. Very good food. It's a shame about the mediocre service... the waiters were friendly but not very organized. The food was excellent... we had a platter of fried gnocco, delicious fried gnocco stuffed with gorgonzola, ricotta and spinach ravioli, and delicious homemade desserts.

03/11/2025: Visiting Bologna, a beautiful city, and having lunch or dinner at "Pista Mentuccia," a restaurant serving authentic Roman cuisine, run by a Roman from Garbatella, may seem anachronistic, but the "call of the blood" is strong everywhere. The restaurant has simple, even spartan furnishings, and the staff is young and on par with their seasoned colleagues, attentive and professionally impeccable. The dishes, masterfully crafted according to the canons of Roman cuisine, make you feel at home rather than in Bologna. Balanced flavors, generous portions, just the way we Romans like them, and a more than satisfactory quality/price ratio. The host, a charming and delightful person to chat with, transports you to Garbatella, the neighborhood where he was born. So to say the experience was positive would be a superficial assessment, so I'll call it EXCELLENT. It's a restaurant I recommend without hesitation. All this explains the five stars given by a Google local guide that is certainly not generous.

09/11/2025: Ate there last night, the food was excellent, everything cooked to perfection, I think I'll go back.

11/10/2025: Excellent Neapolitan-style pizza with a thick crust, and a fairly wide and unique selection. The wait can be a bit longer if it's crowded because the place is quite large, but overall it's worth it, especially considering the reasonable prices.

11/10/2025: Positive: Excellent pizza, soft and easy to digest, quality ingredients with delicious and original combinations. We had an eggplant parmigiana and an escarole. The staff was friendly and efficient. Negative: Excessively noisy, tables very close together, diners increasingly speaking louder to communicate, 50-minute wait, too long for any restaurant. It feels like an industrial factory, not suitable for a relaxing evening.

30/08/2025: A very welcoming, original, and well-kept atmosphere. Excellent, very friendly service, anticipating every request. Fabulous bread. The food overall is truly excellent. And what can I say about the view? I'm running out of adjectives. Truly a wonderful discovery.

14/10/2025: Giving everything five stars doesn't really matter. The dinner was excellent, from the appetizers to the traditional first courses to the huge barbecue for two...but there were four of us. The only flaw was the dessert. A flaw, in inverted commas, is due to my personal taste. I like tiramisu in blocks, not disassembled. But that flaw doesn't justify taking one less star because the mascarpone cream was delicious. Well done!

06/11/2025: Superb meal with my sister tonight, I'd mentioned on arrival we were celebrating her birthday in passing, and that she didnt drink. At the end they surprised her with a celebratory firework attached to a shot glass and a rousing round of Happy Birthday. They had filled the shot glass with lemonade, that was such a nice thing to do, no liquor. The food was fabulous, the pasta fresh and the fish was beautifully cooked. Will be back.

01/11/2025: We visited The Ginger Italian for the first time after driving past it many times, not quite knowing what to expect - and I think we’ve found a new favourite! Great atmosphere, excellent customer service with friendly, welcoming staff, and the food was perfectly seasoned with generous portions. We ordered from the set menu, which was fantastic value. Can’t wait to visit again and try more dishes!
