29/03/2026: A very good selection of beers – varied and interesting. The service is fantastic – conversation about beers is a pleasure. The food is good – the mini burgers are quite interesting, but so-so. The interior design is very interesting, and the toilet with a bench is a real highlight. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

08/02/2026: Breakfast was very poor. I expected tomatoes, cucumbers, and greens. There was no fruit except for apples. Only two types of cheese are insufficient for a 4-star hotel. The bread was all the same, dry and hard. The bakery section should have had a wider variety. They bring the coffee themselves, and you have to wait a while in the middle of breakfast. The rooms, however, were clean and tidy.

05/02/2026: Historic hotel in the historic center of Lugo in a logistically perfect location. Large, bright rooms, the white color triumphs. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a modern and usable shower. Well heated. On the other hand, the rooms are a bit cold. The temperature is not manageable by the user. At night, the corridor light is always on and filters from under the door. Sensors and LEDs illuminate the room too much. The kettle and coffee machine in the room lose the fifth star for some small things that could be improved. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. I would go back.

04/04/2026: We found this place completely by chance, walking toward the city center, and were drawn by the aromas wafting through the surrounding area. Despite the time being more suitable for breakfast than a snack, we decided to treat ourselves to a slice of focaccia with anchovies, olives, and onions, followed by a pizza rossa with oregano and parmesan. The owner, rather rudely, didn't warn us that his products would be addictive, and we were forced to interrupt so as not to clear his counter first thing in the morning. Luckily, we "randomly" stopped by again at lunchtime, finishing up our work and sampling practically every type of pizza and focaccia available. My biggest regret is not having a place like this in my city. Full marks, I can't wait to visit again!

11/12/2025: When we got married at La Gaiana, Da Jari was the caterer for the wedding reception. Stefania and her team welcomed us from the very beginning and accompanied us until the very end. The great connection and strong relationship she has with the wedding venue were crucial to the event's success. Every aspect was handled with great availability, kindness, and professionalism. I speak of an event because, beyond the rehearsal of the wedding menu, the reception itself, and therefore the culinary choices, Stefania accompanied us and advised us on the management of many aspects that go far beyond the simple menu and food alone. She is the glue and an indispensable presence for the day to run smoothly without too much stress or complications. A wedding forces you to become an event planner for a day, a very delicate and heartfelt day, attended by so many loved ones. That's why I can only recommend Da Jari and La Gaiana Location and thank them for how they handled every single detail. Even and especially regarding the catering's "core business"—the wedding lunch—we and our guests were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food offered. We personally opted for a traditional Emilian menu (balanzoni, lasagna, suckling pig, and potato pie), which we and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed! Every request we made was accommodated, and no detail was overlooked (with particular attention to allergies, intolerances, etc.). Regarding the wine list, we were also able to choose from a wide range of options after a tasting experience in the cellar, which was also a very positive experience. We won't go into detail here; this review is a huge thank you to Stefania and her entire staff, who, in perfect harmony with all the other vendors and the venue owner, made our wedding PERFECT. 16/11/2025: For our wedding, we entrusted Jari with the planning. Thanks to Stefania and her team, we were able to choose every detail, and thanks to their experience and professionalism, everything on our wedding day was perfect! Even today, after all this time, we still receive so many compliments: from the service to the menu, everything was exquisite and served with the right timing and portions! The always smiling and attentive wait staff didn't go unnoticed, as did the quality of the entire work. Having Stefania by our side even in the months leading up to the wedding is truly an added value: thanks to her professionalism and experience, she was able to guide us in the choices best suited to our needs and made the preparations a unique experience! 21/03/2026: Excellent typical Emilian restaurant, I can only give it 5 stars for everything. The bar with billiards is legendary!! The first courses are not only generous but also delicious. The second courses and side dishes are equally delicious, except for the zucchini flowers, which perhaps need a rethink. I can't wait to go back and try the crescentine and tigelle.

20/03/2026: A place that has remained unchanged—that is, always great. You eat authentic Emilia here, and the owners are always friendly and kind. If you go, you can't miss the walnut tortelloni, although everything else is absolutely worth trying. 5 stars, only because 10 isn't a good thing!

07/04/2026: The food is quite good overall, but the portions are on the smaller side, so don’t expect anything too generous. The space itself is also quite small, which means it can be difficult to find a table during high season. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the experience more pleasant. Overall, it’s a decent place just don’t go in with very high expectations, especially when it comes to portion sizes

07/04/2026: We were really looking forward to the tagliatelle with ragù, but unfortunately, it was sold out. As an alternative, we ordered lasagna, tortellini, and the ragù burger. Everything tasted delicious and was of good quality; there's nothing to complain about there. However, it was quite disappointing when you've been really looking forward to a particular dish—especially since there were still about two hours until closing time.

21/03/2026: It's hard not to return; the welcome is always excellent, and the cuisine offers new and beautifully presented dishes. Special mention goes to the wait staff: friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you go, you'll return. If you don't, you don't know what you're missing.

25/03/2026: A little gem, with exposed stone walls and soft, warm lighting that makes it an enchanting place. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, and the scent of the cellar envelops you completely, creating pure magic. We could have just sat there, immersed in this magic, just for the pleasure of being there... but then the dishes arrived. And it was an explosion of flavors. The exquisite, impeccably presented charcuterie and cheese platter, with delicious and flavorful side dishes. The wine was excellent. The bill was also very fair, considering the quality of the ingredients and the generous portions. Needless to say, we'll be back; it was a wonderful experience!

23/11/2025: Always a good choice... tonight, double-cooked octopus and tuna tataki, accompanied by a Franciacorta Saten. Highly recommended. Returned today, November 21, and some small flaws arose in the service (the Chateaubriand plate wasn't brought, the bottle of Ripasso wasn't opened to let it breathe, and the dessert knife and fork were requested twice). Tortellini weren't exceptional (a bit lacking in filling and overcooked by a minute). Desserts need revisiting. The rest was good, as usual.
