04/04/2026: We found this place completely by chance, walking toward the city center, and were drawn by the aromas wafting through the surrounding area. Despite the time being more suitable for breakfast than a snack, we decided to treat ourselves to a slice of focaccia with anchovies, olives, and onions, followed by a pizza rossa with oregano and parmesan. The owner, rather rudely, didn't warn us that his products would be addictive, and we were forced to interrupt so as not to clear his counter first thing in the morning. Luckily, we "randomly" stopped by again at lunchtime, finishing up our work and sampling practically every type of pizza and focaccia available. My biggest regret is not having a place like this in my city. Full marks, I can't wait to visit again!

11/12/2025: When we got married at La Gaiana, Da Jari was the caterer for the wedding reception. Stefania and her team welcomed us from the very beginning and accompanied us until the very end. The great connection and strong relationship she has with the wedding venue were crucial to the event's success. Every aspect was handled with great availability, kindness, and professionalism. I speak of an event because, beyond the rehearsal of the wedding menu, the reception itself, and therefore the culinary choices, Stefania accompanied us and advised us on the management of many aspects that go far beyond the simple menu and food alone. She is the glue and an indispensable presence for the day to run smoothly without too much stress or complications. A wedding forces you to become an event planner for a day, a very delicate and heartfelt day, attended by so many loved ones. That's why I can only recommend Da Jari and La Gaiana Location and thank them for how they handled every single detail. Even and especially regarding the catering's "core business"—the wedding lunch—we and our guests were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food offered. We personally opted for a traditional Emilian menu (balanzoni, lasagna, suckling pig, and potato pie), which we and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed! Every request we made was accommodated, and no detail was overlooked (with particular attention to allergies, intolerances, etc.). Regarding the wine list, we were also able to choose from a wide range of options after a tasting experience in the cellar, which was also a very positive experience. We won't go into detail here; this review is a huge thank you to Stefania and her entire staff, who, in perfect harmony with all the other vendors and the venue owner, made our wedding PERFECT. Thanks to Stefania and her team, we were able to choose every detail, and thanks to their experience and professionalism, everything on our wedding day was perfect! Even today, after all this time, we still receive so many compliments: from the service to the menu, everything was exquisite and served with the right timing and portions! The always smiling and attentive wait staff didn't go unnoticed, as did the quality of the entire work. Having Stefania by our side even in the months leading up to the wedding is truly an added value: thanks to her professionalism and experience, she was able to guide us in the choices best suited to our needs and made the preparations a unique experience! 21/03/2026: It's hard not to return; the welcome is always excellent, and the cuisine offers new and beautifully presented dishes. Special mention goes to the wait staff: friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you go, you'll return. If you don't, you don't know what you're missing.

12/04/2026: Excellent gluten-free pizza! Truly amazing gluten-free pizza, one of the best I've ever had. You can immediately tell how much care they put into choosing the ingredients, all of which are top-quality. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable: we accidentally took chili pepper oil from the gluten-free pizza counter to top a regular pizza, and they kindly took it away from us, specifying that it was reserved exclusively for the gluten-free pizza. This made me realize how careful they are to avoid even the slightest risk of cross-contamination. Since we were there on a Saturday night, the place was very crowded; the space is large and noisy, so don't expect an intimate atmosphere, and the serving times were not synchronized (the "regular" pizzas arrived later). However, the pizza was so delicious that these small inconveniences were easily overlooked. Highly recommended!

12/04/2026: 5 stars, absolutely. Delicious pizza, excellent service!! It's always crowded, but they ALWAYS manage to find a table with little wait. What's never lacking is the smile and kindness they always have, even in the most chaotic moments—and that's not a given! La Vela is a surefire place if you're craving a great pizza in Parma!

11/04/2026: The place isn't very big, with two shifts from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM onward. We were on the first shift and the food was good. The potato tortelli with porcini mushrooms were excellent, as were the tagliata and side dishes. The service was quick and a little rushed at 1:30 PM, but it was clear they were happy for us to leave the table free. Anyway, if you're passing through Bagno di Romagna, I recommend it.

02/04/2026: Absolutely avoid due to the quality of the meat and the location. Bad food and terrible cocktails. €70 per person. Madness.

24/03/2026: I came to dinner with my cousin with the promise of a great meat-based dinner. The promises were kept, with plenty of picanha; if it were up to me, I'd recommend just eating that; it was so good. A well-stocked buffet, the waiters were incredibly kind and friendly; I love them. The desserts were very sweet but still delicious; the coconut dessert was the best. A spectacular drink of Brazilian grappa with the waiter. The bill was fair, €51 per person for eating, drinking, laughing, crying, and any other emotion you could want. (Apparently, girls pay less on Tuesdays 🥳🥳🥳)

09/03/2026: I came from Turin with friends. The clubhouse is very beautiful, with a beautifully kept museum inside, featuring many historical objects. The wait staff was excellent. And we even beat England.

08/04/2026: We spent a lovely evening at Il Tartufo. We really appreciated the way the first courses were prepared and presented in front of the guests, as well as the quality of the food, and the friendliness and professionalism of Mrs. Lina and her son Alessandro. To top it all off, they treated us to an excellent, fragrant and delicious mojito. Highly recommended! We'll be back.

16/03/2026: Sunday lunch with family and children (booked by my brother-in-law, Parmigiano Doc). There were seven of us! A true trattoria, no frills and very down-to-earth. It's a pleasant place and the food is good. Seeing the women in the kitchen preparing dishes as they once were is pure poetry (the lady, the owner, no longer very young, who makes the cappelletti deserves to be a point of reference for schools with special visits and hands-on lessons). Everything was good, including the fresh house Barbera. Kudos not only to the first courses, but also to the stuffed punta, the guanciale (very tender), the fried polenta, the giardiniera vegetables, and the artichokes... If I may be a show-off, I'll allow myself to say "very humbly" that perhaps I expected a little more from the cured meats, especially the crudo (which doesn't mean they weren't good). Absolutely fair price. Thank you very much, and see you next time.
