21/10/2025: This restaurant, nestled within the Formigine Castle, offers excellent service in every respect: hospitality, empathy, and professionalism. The owner's expertise in the field is evident, even in the smallest details. A wide selection of wines, both local and international, is available. The dishes are beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious. The mushroom risotto is excellent. The prices are reasonable and fair.

19/10/2025: A wonderful place to spend unforgettable moments, both for its good food and its location. A must-see in Formigine.

13/10/2025: Reunion dinner, agreed upon fish and meat menu. The crudités were top-notch. Rice with fish, mixed fried fish, and a delicious grill! Everything was delicious and fresh! Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: We went to this restaurant for the first time with friends. We had a wonderful meal, the grill was a delight, and the desserts were delicious too. The atmosphere was elegant and attentive, and the staff was very friendly.

15/11/2025: Chaotic place, loud music, total disorganization. We booked for 8:30 PM, but they seated us at 10 PM. The first course arrived at 10 PM, the second at 11:30 PM.

13/11/2025: My expectations were higher... too bad! I was there for a family pizza party at the end of October. The pizza (similar to Neapolitan pizza) isn't bad. The wait times are normal, and the waiter, who I assume is the owner, is very kind and welcoming, but only him. The rest of the staff didn't even offer a welcoming smile. Very high prices. It's not the place for me.

01/12/2025: The wait was biblical: we were seated at 8:30 PM, the first course arrived at 10:45 PM, and we'd only had one appetizer. The pumpkin risotto was so sweet, too sweet to stomach. The decorations on the plates were excessive: unnecessary flowers and rosemary sprigs.

11/11/2025: The food: beef fillets overcooked and dark, chicken undercooked, greasy fries. I don't know the price. When we left the parking lot, the air outside stank, through no fault of our own.

06/10/2025: We went to dinner here last night and it was a delightful discovery. The atmosphere was meticulously designed, with great customer service and a varied menu. We opted for a fish dinner and were very pleased with the quality of the dishes. P.S.: The homemade ice cream is a must-try.

23/11/2025: The restaurant was recommended to us by the accommodation where we stayed, and I must say it was excellent. During a three-day trip, we dined here twice. The fish is incredibly fresh, the portions are plentiful, and the quality is excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We recommend this restaurant to seafood lovers. We will definitely be back.

05/11/2025: It's a family affair at wonderful da Cesari in Bologna. That's owner Paolino with his back to us, manning the cassa at the door. His son led us to the "Cabernet/Sauvignon/Sangiovese" Liano (sic) which we then found out he used to work for. 3 million bottles/yr production. OK. It still had grapes in it. Marinated duck foie gras had a truly amazing ginger candied pumpkin with it, super yum! Sformatino of porcini was suitably autumnal, with sauteed porcini as well, not a bad start. Tortellini in (beef this time) brodo had to be tried ("meat filling, always meat for tortellini") but I really enjoyed my rabbit ravioli with smoked goat cheese! Ki followed that with braised guanciola. After a crema gelato with balsamic vinegar and a torta tenerina (almost flourless chocolate cake), they wouldn't let us pay or leave without a digestivo. I wanted to try the Nocino delle Streghe (witches), which our server explained is made from walnuts possibly harvested by virgins by the light of the full moon, hence the name. Not so sure about that, but it was certainly digestion enhancing. Enjoyable and would return to explore more of the menu.

02/11/2025: The restaurant presents itself as a classic osteria. The space isn't huge, but it still allows you to eat without feeling overwhelmed. We ordered several traditional appetizers with cured meats, all top-quality, and all the first courses we tried also met our expectations. Prices are average, verging on the high, but considering the quality of the food, the expense is manageable. The service is prompt and unobtrusive. The only drawback is the single bathroom (for both men and women), although it was commendably clean.

19/10/2025: Classic Romagna cuisine. Very good house menus. Excellent value. Full menu including wine for €30 per person. Generous but carefully prepared dishes. Top-notch grilled food.

01/10/2025: If I could, I'd give it 10 stars! We stopped in Cesena for work and on our first night we had dinner at this superb trattoria. There were 8 of us, we were treated wonderfully, and we ate wonderfully... EXCELLENT value for money! We liked it so much that we returned 3 nights in a row, with an average of 10 people. The quality and kindness were confirmed every night. 3 dinners in a row, we ate well and were always greeted with kindness, even accommodating any "extra" requests. Friendliness, good food, and a warm welcome... you couldn't ask for more!

30/09/2025: I had the tagliata with arugula and parmesan, well-cooked just the way I like it. The tigelle and gnocco were excellent. The prosciutto was sweet. The only flaw was the soundproofing, which could be improved. Otherwise, everything was fine, even the bill, which was fair for what we had eaten.

10/11/2025: First of all, it's a great restaurant, with a better quality-price ratio than 80% of sushi restaurants. A good way to gauge whether a sushi restaurant is attentive is to see if they serve condensed milk with their steamed buns. Many restaurants don't offer condensed milk, but this one does. It would be even better if they had fried steamed buns! Fried steamed buns and condensed milk are a perfect pairing, and they're also delicious steamed.
