16/05/2026: A very rustic atmosphere, it feels like stepping into a family home in the hills outside Bologna. Excellent ingredients, from first courses to second courses and appetizers. The fried mushrooms are top-notch, and the black truffles are grown directly on site. I highly recommend the passatelli and the whole bull meat.

03/05/2026: We stopped after visiting Rocchetta Mattei, a 10-minute drive away, and were very satisfied. The view outside the restaurant was breathtaking, surrounded by green hills. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, all made with quality and tasty ingredients. We had a wide variety of choices, from appetizers to desserts, with a preference for porcini mushrooms and truffles. A special mention for the bull fillet, which I had never tasted before; it was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. The staff was very kind, precise, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. Our meal cost just under €50 each, but we ate a lot (the portions were generous) and drank a lot, too. Don't overdo it; for €30-35, you'll leave feeling full and eating very well. I recommend it 100%.
