05/06/2026: Great find , happen to be in the hood , looking for a place for lunch . A serendipitous find, I asked for a place inside . Really cosy, sophisticated dining area with a touch of whimsy . I tried the croaker fish dish , amazing along with a nice local white wine , a Lugana, that came recommended ( they have a commercial wine dispense that keeps the wine fresh ) . Finally , the dessert - tiramisu by Marco. Honestly , I thought I floated to heaven for a moment. I offered my first born for the recipe - but was politely refused with a smile . Go- worth the trip

13/06/2026: The gourmet title is worthy. Excellent quality, competent staff, and a place to match. To be careful, as a true Calabrian, I recommend adding chili pepper to the Vulcano pizza on the menu, otherwise it will quickly lose a star.

13/06/2026: A very nice restaurant with a pleasant, spacious atmosphere. The dishes were high-quality and presented in a modern style. The cuisine focuses on classic dishes, which were very well prepared, but didn't really surprise us culinarily. Overall, however, it was a successful visit with good food and a pleasant ambiance.

12/06/2026: They had just closed for siesta but let us in from awful weather and let us order pizzas. To our surprise they were maybe the best ones we had on the whole trip!

18/06/2026: DO NOT GO TO THE VEGAN EVENINGS. We went to the vegan evening with high expectations, but unfortunately, you need to be able to cook to make certain menu items... Unfortunately, all the dishes, including the risottos, were inedible... Some examples: very hard chard, served whole, so hard you couldn't even cut it with a knife... Apricot risotto with diced tofu on top: extremely salty risotto, and the tofu was inedible because it was cooked in enormous cubes, with no care taken to prevent the true flavor of the tofu from being apparent. Tzatziki risotto: since it's a "sauce" best served cold with a side dish or something else, it didn't fit in a risotto at all... The smell and taste were sickening, as was the warm cucumber pieces on top of the rice... The dessert consisted of a baked peach on a dark chocolate glaze, topped with an almond and cinnamon mousse... Aside from the truly original location, nothing else was worth mentioning. The next morning, we had terrible stomach cramps, and I won't say more... The cover charge was €2.50 per person, truly enormous. With drinks, we spent €70 for two appetizers, two risottos, and a dessert.

16/06/2026: One word to describe the dinner: EXCEPTIONAL!! From appetizers to dessert, it was a journey through tastes and flavors. The staff was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

02/06/2026: First time for me, recommended by B&B Poggio Caiar. Nothing special. I ordered a mixed grill, while my companion ordered beef steak. They asked us the cooking level and switched my dish, which was supposed to be medium, with my companion's, which was supposed to be rare. I asked for bread to accompany the appetizer and had to ask another waitress because they forgot. The tiramisu wasn't very good; my companion left it after two spoonfuls. But she paid anyway without hesitation or questioning.

31/05/2026: The three of us walked there from Caprino Veronese without a reservation. It's a rocky and steep path, so sturdy shoes are recommended. For the return trip in the dark, you should bring a flashlight or headlamp. A mobile phone will do in a pinch. The restaurant is authentic, without any unnecessary frills. The pizzas are delicious; I tried the spaghetti with anchovies, which I also recommend. The rabbit with polenta was very good, as were the salads. The prices are perfectly reasonable, not at all expensive. We'll definitely go again, preferably on foot.

03/06/2026: A very typical restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. The staff is cheerful, polite, and extremely kind. The owner is very helpful with local information. We ate very well. The menu was fantastic. They brought 2 starters, 2 main courses, and a variety of typical side dishes, water, house wine, dessert, coffee, grappa, and amaro. Average price: €35 per person. You'll leave feeling satisfied. 😄

31/05/2026: Excellent cuisine and customer attention

21/05/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch. After reading various reviews, we expected something more. The menu is à la carte, and there's also a chef's menu, which is definitely a workers' menu. We chose a middle ground: one first course à la carte, one second course à la carte, and one second course of the day. The first course was macaroni with Chianina beef ragù, which took a bit of time to cook, but the sauce wasn't bad. The second courses were a tagliata with mixed sauces and a veal cutlet in wine, both good, a bottle of red wine, two coffees, and a bitter liqueur. The total cost was €38, which was truly cheap. At the end of the meal, we discovered that the restaurant had only been under management for 10 days. The portions were generous, but the pasta cooking could definitely be improved. I give it 4 stars for encouragement!!!

21/05/2026: Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the whole Valpolicella area. Superb service, food is absolutely amazing and the ambient is very quiet and well maintained (the outside private patio is stunning)

10/06/2026: Food was superb, the pizza and the pasta were really amazing and the tiramisu was amazing as well. They produce their own wines which were full of flavor, we had the ripasso and the amarone. Yet to try their sparkling wines. Very kind staff, chef and owners!! Worth the detour! Also nice views of the valley. Definitely recommend the place! Entrance is down the stairs.

19/04/2026: A gem in the Illasi Valley. A welcoming restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The dishes are carefully crafted and locally sourced, accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. The view of the Valpolicella hills is splendid.
