Trattoria Dal Gal In Verona

A truly exceptional trattoria combining extraordinary hospitality and kindness, sincere and flavorful cuisine made with high-quality ingredients, and a lovely wine list at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the delicious polenta with porcini mushrooms and Grana Padano cheese, the incredible tuna tartare with Taggiasca, and Grand Marnier ice cream with sbrisolona. A restaurant that restores your faith in humanity, and that's a very good thing these days, bravo!

Bright and clean, the staff are very professional and genuinely friendly. Tables are spaced further apart than average, giving guests a sense of space and comfort. The menu is reminiscent of the old-fashioned Artusi cuisine, with no regional specialties but with a wide variety of "Italian" dishes like mushroom crepes, tortellini in broth, veal with tuna sauce, and various roast meats. It also leaves room for creativity in original dishes like pappardelle with guinea fowl ragù. Excellent selection of ingredients and well-executed recipes (the homemade egg pasta is textbook). Even the vegetable side dishes are prepared with care and attention to flavor and variety. Very kind to families and small children. In our case, they even offered to wash the dishes we had brought for our baby's food.

Dal Gal = quality. The restaurant is well-kept and very spacious, the staff is knowledgeable, and the menu offers well-crafted dishes that make you want to try a bite of everything. I think I ate one of the best fillets I've ever eaten here. If I had to find the only downside, it would be the setting, which in my opinion doesn't do justice to a restaurant of this caliber. Otherwise, it's clear they're accustomed to working at a high level, and it shows in everything. I'll definitely be back.

Eat traditional homemade Venetian cuisine. I recommend it.

Exceptional, to say the least. I went for dinner on Saturday evening during a business trip. I don't usually dine alone at a restaurant, but Leonardo and the entire staff made me feel at home and at ease from the first moment. I ordered the house specialty, a tasting of first courses... and they were all truly spectacular: balanced and tasty. The risotto with radicchio and Amarone in particular: I loved that dish. The restaurant is very elegant and well-kept, and impeccably clean. The service was excellent: I found kindness, professionalism, care, and the utmost attention to customer service. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful experience: I can't wait to return to the area, perhaps with a friend this time 😊, to visit you again. Greetings from Friuli 😊
