10/07/2026: A delightful restaurant in Colognola ai Colli, nestled in the hills of the Illasi Valley, it features an indoor dining room decorated with copper pots hanging everywhere, and an outdoor terrace, incredibly breezy and therefore enjoyable even on a very hot summer evening. The cuisine is delicious and interesting; the giardiniera (pickled vegetables) that accompany the cured meats is divine. The service is prompt and courteous, and the prices are more than reasonable. An excellent place to return to.

21/06/2026: I discovered it by chance while looking for a restaurant for lunch outside Verona on my way back from a weekend getaway. It was exactly what I was looking for! A rustic house, in the countryside among olive groves. It's right next to a crossroads, but we'll find out why later. To enter, you ring the bell, just like at home. The interior has that lunchtime atmosphere, the coolness of rustic stone houses, almost dim light (and given today's heat, it's perfect). Signora Antonia welcomes us and shows us to the table. We're early, and we're the only ones there for now. We discover it's the family home, belonging to her grandmother and aunt (who still lives upstairs), who had a tobacco shop right at the entrance (on the crossroads) and over time has become a restaurant. It really feels like home. Everything is very familiar, meticulously prepared, and simple. Dishes change with the seasons. Pasta is handmade in-house. I recommend the tagliolini al taglio (hand-cut tagliolini) with beef and veal ragù, and the tagliata (sliced ​​steak). Authentic flavors. High-quality products. The atmosphere is perfect for finishing with a coffee; they only make moka pot coffee (I love it) and their own licorice liqueur. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. 25/05/2026: I went there two nights in a row with my daughter's basketball team (lupebaket) and a great group of parents. We were welcomed even late at night and had the opportunity to enjoy their delicious pizzas. Service was prompt and the staff were courteous and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

28/04/2026: Nothing to complain about for food. It has everything you need for those with food allergies: celiac disease, glutamate, and other allergies. Parking is sufficient if you can park 15 cars decently. There are two areas. Two waiters bring empty plates and full trays. Appetizers, first and second courses, and side dishes. I was a guest. Access lowers my rating. Narrow road to get in. Clear signs. Tables are also available outside, either under umbrellas or under wooden gazebos with benches. Clean and airy restrooms.

19/04/2026: Excellent family dinner today, April 18... Very kind and attentive staff... Beautiful restaurant, recently renovated, I think, although the dining room still has an old-fashioned feel... We shared appetizers. I personally had soft polenta with mushrooms, really good thinly sliced ​​prosciutto, and a good salami with warm tigelle. I also watched crostini with chicken liver pâté, tomato sauce, a fabulous homemade giardiniera, and other various sauces being passed around. For the main course, I chose a braised pork cheek, very good and meltingly soft. Other family members ordered tagliata, cod, and lamb chops (which I tried), all very good. We finished with a delicious nougat parfait with a chocolate topping, a berry meringue, and a tiramisu that I've been told was fabulous! DEFINITELY RETURN! COMPLIMENTS!!!
