The brioches are truly space-age, as are the giant sandwiches. The location is beautiful and all the staff are friendly and professional. Lots of rare and unique things on sale. Average prices. 07/01/2024: What a lovely place. We were so happy to stumble across Joy’s Place on our short trip to Malcesine. The food was so tasty and the service really great with friendly staff.

15/11/2023: I went to this restaurant last Sunday, one of the few open on the lake this season. I recommend it for the kindness and helpfulness of the owners. Nice dishes and adequate portions. We'll be back.

28/03/2024: A fantastic pizza!!! It is a Neapolitan pizza so the edge is very high and the pizza is quite soft in the middle. Taste 1A! The service also speaks German and English, so no problem. Leave the tourist trail when you're on Lake Garda. It is worth it! Inside it is a pizzeria and therefore decorated like that. There's only pizza, because that's just a pizzeria. Otherwise it would be a trattoria or osteria… The roof terrace in summer is mega! Go there and try it out, you won't be disappointed.

04/04/2024: Besides the fact we were waiting 10 minutes to get the waiter to come and take our order, they were friendly and the food was good. I got eggs and bagel, very nice and smooth scrambled eggs inside a soft bagel, but the egg was a bit tasteless. Better if you add some salt and pepper. Cappuccino good, small cup !

04/04/2024: The best breakfast in Italy! There are many food options, there are several healthy ingredients too such as oat flour, almond milk, etc. We recommend the pistachio pancakes, the California avocado toast, and they have very good coffee.

05/04/2024: Something different in Bardolino. Very good food in a nice atmosphere. The staff is very nice but it's a shame that special requests (e.g. pizza changes) are not possible. The dessert was original and very tasty. Not the cheapest but adequate. Thank you

29/03/2024: I recently stayed at the "Arnold" with a group of friends and I have to say that the experience was a mix of highs and lows. The restaurant, located in an industrial area outside the city, has a retro American diner atmosphere that immediately captures attention. The small structure, while charming, can feel a little claustrophobic, especially when crowded. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, we were unlucky in arriving during a busy time, and the place was packed with customers. The lack of space and the absence of adequate air circulation made the atmosphere rather oppressive, with a persistent smell of sweat and fried food permeating the environment. However, despite this inconvenience, the real star of the show at the "Arnold" was the burgers. All of us in the group opted for the burgers and were pleased with both the generous portion size and the delicious flavour. The burgers were succulent and tasty, and the attention to detail in the preparation was evident. Furthermore, the cakes offered for dessert were delicious and ended the meal perfectly. Ultimately, the "Arnold" is a place where you can enjoy authentic American-style burgers, even if the experience can be compromised by crowding and a less than comfortable environment. If you are looking for a culinary delight without worrying too much about the surrounding atmosphere, this could be the right place for you.
