17/05/2025: It feels like they’re doing you a favor by selling. We went with a 1-year-old child and got dirty looks just for bringing a stroller. The staff (the woman and the man) were very rude and disrespectful. Also, the place wasn’t clean at all.

22/05/2025: Accueil très chaleureux. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très gentils et accueillants. La cuisine est goûteuse, savoureuse. Les desserts sont également très bons: la tarte aux pommes et le fondant au chocolat sont des délices. L’addition est plus que raisonnable. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

16/05/2025: Charmante Bar mit sehr sympathischen italienischem Flair. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und gibt gerne Tips. Sehr grosse Auswahl an Getränken mit und ohne Alkohol. Es wird immer eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit (Oliven, Chips) dazu serviert. Wir waren in kurzer Zeit gleich mehrmals dort. Absolut empfehlenswert.

07/07/2025: We went there for dinner twice during our 10-day vacation. Both times, we took advantage of the opportunity to customize our pizza using a checkbox. It was fun, and the pizza was beyond delicious! The service was consistently super friendly and accommodating, and they were happy to accommodate our broken Italian with a smile. Parking is also available. Since we were there around 6:00 PM both times, we never had a problem finding a space. The restaurant is definitely worth recommending. We thank you very much for the great evenings. Gracie mille! ◡̈

06/07/2025: very good food and service. Good idea to sellected your ingredients on pizza. We liked pizzas, burger and sallads. We did not try pasta. They have pizzas and bread in glutten free version.

22/06/2025: Excellent I would say the cooked food is really strong, a little less the uramaki... in all of them there is seaweed that not everyone likes, for everything else very good clean and well-kept. The fantastic staff kind and helpful, excellent delivery of the dishes, first the hot food, then the raw food and finally the rice balls, the thing that made me very happy was that the food was not brought in a fast way, but leaving time to catch your breath between one course and another.. I highly recommend

Elegant but at the same time informal environment, always quality food and with excellent presentations, fast service, very kind owners and staff and always attentive to our requests! The staff was very kind and the service was carried out paying a lot of attention to detail even while the corresponding courses were being explained. The staff was also able to put us at ease, I recommend this experience.

The overall experience, between high-level culinary inventions and full care of the guest, suggests the arrival of a second star. Many compliments to the chef and his entire young team.

13/06/2025: My wife and I had a wonderful experience here and I’m very glad we decided to splurge on our trip to Verona. The staff was attentive and cordial. Each course was a choreographed presentation and each piece was explained to us in English, which was much appreciated. We aren’t used to lengthy meals where we are from so a three hour dinner was new to us, but the pace was nice and allowed time to savor each bite. I didn’t count how courses there were but it was a lot, in a good way. Go easy on the bread, (not the focaccia, eat all of that!) if you are concerned about making it to the end. After dessert the chef came out to greet each table personally. We didn’t plan this ahead of time and I was amazed we were able to get a reservation at a 3 Star Michelin restaurant the day before, but I’m very glad we went for it. By far, this was the best meal we’ve ever had.

29/05/2025: An Utter Disappointment — Unworthy of Any Stars, Let Alone Three As seasoned diners who have had the privilege of experiencing virtually all of Italy’s 3-star Michelin restaurants, we were genuinely appalled by our recent experience at Casa Perbellini – 12 Apostoli in Verona. From the moment we entered, something felt amiss. It took an inexplicable 12 to 15 minutes just to be offered an aperitif — a wait that would be questionable even at a provincial trattoria, let alone at an establishment purportedly at the pinnacle of global gastronomy. The amuse-bouche — typically the chef’s moment to spark anticipation and delight — fell embarrassingly flat. Bland, unimaginative, and utterly lacking the finesse one expects at this level. But worse than the food was the service: indifferent at best, negligent at worst. The staff appeared disinterested, with an air of aloofness that bordered on contempt. Not once did we feel welcomed, valued, or engaged. The sommelier, in particular, was astonishingly disengaged. Her lack of passion and initiative stood in stark contrast to the vibrant, knowledgeable sommeliers we’ve encountered across Italy’s finest restaurants. After enduring this cold, uninspired atmosphere for far too long, we made the decision to leave — something we have never done before at a Michelin-rated establishment. It simply wasn’t worth any more of our time, nor of our appetite. What was most disheartening, however, was the complete absence of what makes Italian dining so unique: warmth, spirit, hospitality. This was not a culinary experience; it was a lifeless procession. We strongly do not recommend Casa Perbellini – 12 Apostoli to any genuine aficionado of fine dining. In our view, it does not merit its place in the Michelin guide, let alone its prestigious star rating. This was not merely a bad lunch — it was an affront to what three-star dining should represent. Avoid. Update: Following our initial experience, I received an unexpected phone call from someone identifying himself as the chef/owner of the restaurant. Instead of showing empathy or any intent to resolve the situation, the call was aggressive, accusatory, and deeply unprofessional. My wife and I were both on speakerphone and found the tone extremely distressing — she felt particularly threatened by the exchange. This only reinforced our impression that this establishment lacks not only hospitality, but basic respect for its guests. What should have been a special celebration turned into a disturbing and regrettable experience. We have since submitted formal complaints to both the Michelin Guide and the Verona tourism board.

01/07/2025: Sat in the courtyard with fans on. Lots of choice of mussels with different flavours. Really great. Service was great. Highly recommended

10/07/2025: They snuck us in for dinner close to their closing time, which was nice. They let us try some yummy toasts with spreads to begin. Then we all got pasta (squid ink tortellini was incredible!) with such a nice white wine from Verona. Then we finished with a very nice tiramisu and sorbet. The waiters were also very friendly and accommodating

06/07/2025: ✨ A true gastronomic symbol of Verona! We visited Caffè Monte Baldo – Osteria Tipica e Ristorante and were absolutely delighted! Cozy atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, everything is organized with soul and respect for traditions. The dishes are a pleasure: real Verona cuisine, prepared with love and taste. Everything is fresh, aromatic, with an exquisite, but at the same time understandable presentation. It is obvious that they value quality and respect their guests. I would like to separately note the careful and warm attitude towards our child with special needs - this speaks of the high level of service and humanity of the team. 💡 Summary: if you are looking for a place in Verona where you can truly feel the taste of the region - be sure to visit Caffè Monte Baldo. This is more than just a restaurant - it is part of the soul of the city. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
