12/04/2026: I found out about the place through Instagram. They were offering a 2-for-1 pizza coupon. Positive experience! Very kind waiters, excellent pizza, wonderful location. Definitely going back to try their Eco lodge with sauna and food. I don't have any photos, but the pizza was too good to wait.

08/04/2026: A MUST!!! You can literally smell the food in street before you walk in. It has such a cosy, warm and traditional feeling. The food was insanely delicious and the staff are super lovely. Will be going back next time I'm in Verona!

19/04/2026: We went to this place for my birthday. When we booked over the phone, we were asked what paella we wanted. As soon as we were seated, the paella arrived immediately. Excellent service: the staff were super kind, smiling, and very sweet. Would I go back? Immediately. Everything was perfect and delicious. Well done.

17/03/2026: A top-notch restaurant! It merged with the former nearby restaurant "Il Gambero," creating a spacious, welcoming space. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. The food and wine are excellent, especially the raw fish and meat dishes. Prices are reasonable and reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

03/04/2026: Location, not a mess, I didn't have to queue to get in, and once inside we sat down, and the food was divine, everything was very good, delicate flavours contrasting with the strong ones, but not 5 stars in my opinion, but overall everything was very good and the staff were kind and helpful. 01/04/2026: This was a lovely restaurant & fabulous food. Our waitress was friendly but professional. However, we felt that despite it being a lovely restaurant, there was very little atmosphere in the place. The restaurant filled up fairly quickly so advance reservation is definitely recommended. On a con- Staff congregating in a line looking bored or on their phones was slightly distracting & I felt they could be put to better use floating amongst guests filling water, wine glasses etc which was left to customers to do. Perhaps this is normal in Verona, but it was one of the few places that didn't do this which surprised me because of its reputation. Talking to fellow diners, they too felt the same but we were in total agreement that the food is magnificent.

10/12/2025: This café exudes a hipster and artistic vibe. You'll feel creative even before you take your first sip of coffee. There are beautiful details everywhere, lots of plants and books, and it's clear that a lot of care has gone into it. The stracciatella gelato is absolutely the best. The coffee is delicious and strong, just like my girlfriend's reasoning for spending our holiday in Italy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I felt completely pampered. I highly recommend this café, as it's the best coffee I've had on this holiday.

02/04/2026: Beautiful places like Lake Garda understandably attract many tourists. The town of Torri del Benaco was relatively quiet that day compared to other towns on the lake, and at the La Barchessa restaurant we found a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the particularly captivating view of the lake in peace and quiet. The entire restaurant team was exceptionally friendly and always attentive. At just over €130 for three people, the food was excellent: the fish was fresh, not frozen, everything had the perfect texture, was perfectly seasoned, all the proportions were just right, and it was beautifully and lovingly presented. Everything was perfect. All of this would have been enough for five stars. In addition, the waitstaff not only placed a candle on our daughter's dessert cake, but also sang "Happy Birthday" as a choir. So kind, so lovely. We highly recommend La Barchessa.
