21/03/2026: We went for dinner, well-tapped beer and well-cooked shank, what can I say?? Wonderful 💕... We'll definitely be back in the spring/summer to make the most of the beer garden!!

02/06/2026: To say I was disappointed by this restaurant is a huge understatement. It came well recommended by my brother and had great ratings online plus there were huge crowds here every time I passed. I don't know if we caught them on an off night or what but it was probably the worst German restaurant I've ever visited. There were 5 of us but we ordered the Kulmbacherteller which the menu says serves 4 plus 2 orders of fries and a round of beers. The amount of the food on the platter could easily serve 6 hungry people so I think they misrepresent the amount to get you to order more. The platter consisted of a rack of ribs, a Bavarian slice which was basically a slab of spam, the smallest schweinshaxe I've ever seen in my entire life, bratwurst, nurenburgerwurst, chiliwurst, sauerkraut, cold cabbage salad with caraway, and a potato salad that was very obviously rancid. There was also the tiniest dollop of mustard on the platter even though it was clearly nowhere near enough to go with all of the meat. I first tried a bite of the potato salad but it was beyond rotten and I almost didn't try anything else. Eventually I was talked into trying the other items. The nurenburgers, bratwurst, chiliwurst were all acceptable but not great. The schweinshaxe lacked flavor of any kind. The Bavarian slice was the most disgusting thing I have tasted in years - even worse than the putrid potato salad. The sauerkraut was ok but it tasted straight out of a jar. The unsung heroes of the meal were the ribs and the cabbage with caraway. These were the only actual good things here. Overall the decor was nice here, the service was a -10 and the food was mostly gross. I wouldn't return here if my life depended on it.

31/05/2026: I received my wheat beer in a cocktail glass. I don't think I need to say more. By the way, the potato salad tasted only of vinegar. The rest was okay.
