10/05/2026: Excellent food, spectacular risotto and top attention

01/05/2026: I went for lunch, and my fellow diners and I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The staff was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It may seem trivial, but using a napkin when serving dishes so waiters can cover their thumbs is something almost no one does. The bathrooms are spotless, with the option of cleaning them yourself. A special mention for the desserts: we tried the trifle made wonderfully with a delicious custard, and the bergamot crème brulee is truly unique. Highly recommended; if they maintain this quality and these prices, I think we'll be visiting often. It fully deserves its reputation!

07/05/2026: I went for lunch yesterday. The service was excellent, the waiters were friendly, and the food was top-notch. There was a large buffet of both raw and cooked vegetables, an appetizer, and a first course of leek and Monteveronese risotto. Everything was delicious... the price was great. I highly recommend it for a business lunch. The owner, Alberto, was super nice 😉 and attentive.

13/06/2026: Excellent experience, a top-notch osteria. Extremely friendly, helpful, and smiling staff. Delicious traditional dishes at fair prices. Excellent central location and easy to get to. I'll definitely be back!

21/05/2026: The food was average, but the owner's wife provided very detailed introductions to each dish. Perhaps because we were on a tour, the menu was different. When dessert was served, a waiter took the dessert into the restroom to help others or point out light switches, but he spent a considerable amount of time talking about it, and that particular plate was mine… I was completely hesitant to eat it. The restaurant is indeed a genuine Michelin 3-star, and the owner's wife gave very detailed introductions for each dish. However, the food itself felt quite ordinary and not particularly memorable. I'm not sure if the menu was different because we came as part of a tour group. What truly ruined the experience for me was the hygiene and service details. Earlier, I found tape stuck to my fork during the first course. Then, when dessert was being served, a staff member carried my dessert plate into the restroom area while helping another guest with directions and discussing the light switches—all while still holding the plate that was eventually served to me. After seeing that, I honestly didn't feel comfortable eating the dessert at all. For a Michelin 3-star restaurant, I expected much higher standards in both attention to detail and… Overall dining experience.

04/06/2026: Simply great! From the outside, it's very unassuming and not particularly appealing, just plain. That impression doesn't necessarily change when you enter the trattoria. But then the food arrives, wow! Every single dish is delicious, and at a reasonable price. A great trattoria if you don't care too much about appearances and want to eat well, cheaply, and with plenty of flavor. The truffle pasta, the lamb chops, and the pumpkin ravioli are amazing. Despite being busy, the service is very friendly. We'll be back!

27/05/2026: If I could, I would give zero stars for the service. We weren't served at all; there were five people working and only ten guests. One person kept pacing aimlessly with her eyes closed. Tables weren't cleared; they simply kept saying there were no free tables, even though three tables were empty and dirty. We weren't greeted. Only after 20 minutes of insistence did they clear the tables. But then, for half an hour, no one came, not even for drinks. We simply got up and left because they weren't serving three tables. There were only two of us, and we wouldn't have had anything to drink until midnight. This place doesn't need customers. They don't want to make money.

10/06/2026: A pleasant discovery for a business lunch. The place is small but cozy, and the outdoor seating is pleasant. Friendly staff and very fast service. The business lunch menu also offers a wide selection, including fresh summer dishes and various salads, all very tasty and reasonably priced. The fried gnocco, served on the house while you wait for your food, is amazing. I highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: A very lively wine bar with delicious little snacks (it was full, so reservations are a must). The wine selection is fantastic. I highly recommend Speri Sant Urbano! Friendly service. It's becoming my regular spot in Verona.

15/05/2026: Had dinner at Antica Bottega del Vino and overall the experience was just okay, but it didn’t fully meet expectations. The carpaccio had a very nice presentation, but unfortunately lacked flavor and felt quite bland. The Amarone risotto and the beef cheek were both enjoyable and probably the highlights of the meal—well prepared and tasty—but not particularly memorable or outstanding. They do have a very extensive wine list, which is impressive, although it seems more oriented toward a high-spending clientele, with most bottles starting at around €70 or more. Service was probably one of the weaker points. The staff did their job correctly, but without much warmth or enthusiasm—it often felt like they simply didn’t want to be there. There also seemed to be a sommelier, but the interaction was very limited to just taking the wine order. Given the restaurant’s reputation and wine focus, I expected more engagement, recommendations, or guidance. The atmosphere also felt quite touristy, which took away a bit from the authentic experience I was hoping for. Not a bad restaurant, but considering the reputation and prices, I expected something more special.

15/06/2026: A quick review of 4 out of 5 stars: The ambiance is lovely. The food is fantastic. BUT: A blonde woman suddenly sat down behind our table. Presumably the owner or branch manager. She took out her e-cigarette, smoked, and was on her phone. I've never experienced anything like it! With a total price of €200 for the appetizer, main course, and wine, I expect the staff to be somewhere else, relaxing. Therefore, one star deducted. Since the waiter was 10/10 and the food was also 10/10.
