It's an area I don't frequent because I used to work somewhere else entirely, so you inevitably tend to have friends and hang out there. This morning we decided to have lunch at Ristorante Sarti in Bonferraro. I have to say, everything was fantastic. Thirty-eight years later, I understand why my wife and I decided to celebrate at this place, when it was still run by our parents. I usually go to a pizzeria every week, but even those have become out of price. Maybe I'll skip a pizza party and go there more often for lunch or dinner.

12/11/2025: Very good pizza, great dough. The nice lady who served us on Saturday could teach many a customer service professional in expensive restaurants.
03/11/2025: Am always wary of highly rated eateries in touristy areas but the pizza here is spot-on good. From the crust to the fillings - it was so satisfying that we had to order more. We would highly recommend the funghi with prosciutto. The pizzas are all made in a wood-fired oven. The lady who served us was very friendly as well. ~€4.50/slice, card payments accepted.

14/10/2025: We dined here for the first time. In the evening, they offer a tasting menu with a price tag and fixed courses (not specified on the menu, so you're a bit surprised).
We chose the 4-course and 3-course menu, with sorbet and dessert. All the tastings are offered as second courses.
The food is good, and the dishes are varied. Let's just say we were lucky with the first courses, but not so much with the second courses. The atmosphere in the dining room is very intimate and charming. The waiters are all very kind and knowledgeable.
A good experience.

21/10/2025: We went there two evenings in a row and plan to go back the day after tomorrow because we enjoyed it so much. We were there with three children, and we all loved it. The pizza was delicious, the steak with sauce was amazing, the gnocchi were super tasty, and the guinea fowl was super tender with a nice crispy skin.
The service was great; everyone was super child-friendly and very attentive. We felt very comfortable as a family, which unfortunately isn't always the case.
We were very impressed and would recommend it to everyone.
21/10/2025: Very nice restaurant. It was full, too cold outside, and we wanted to sit inside. So they opened another room for us, and we had a wonderful spot. Very friendly staff, very attentive. We enjoyed the food immensely.

- very attentive service
- excellent quality ingredients
- interesting wine list
Points for improvement in my opinion:
- cleanliness of the cutlery (a little rusted)
- we ordered the meat rare and it arrived medium, but the quality was so high that it was tender and never dry. (They did ask us if we wanted to change it anyway)
- also, with the rum and generally at the end of the meal, from a restaurant like this, I would expect a petit four.
I WILL ABSOLUTELY RETURN because it was truly an excellent culinary experience, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

We were here three years ago and it was delicious again. We were here two evenings: we tried pizza, tagliata, tartar, vitello, and bruschetta. Everything was delicious, and everyone was still friendly.
We'll definitely be back!!!
