08/10/2023: Excellent restaurant. Très bonne qualité des plats et service très professionnel. La terrasse est très agréable et au calme. Bon rapport qualité/prix et belle carte des vins.

03/10/2023: Many restaurants in central Verona are an insult to Italian cuisine, as the old city has become overwhelmed with tourists. This one, just about 200m the ‘wrong side’ of p. dei signori, is an exception. The food was outstanding, service impeccable. Not cheap but better value than many. We went a second time a couple of days after our first visit, and were not disappointed. The menu is less extensive than some (no fish of any kind when we went, for example, and a choice of only about 8 or 10 for each of primo and secondi) but all was extremely good. 06/04/2024: I went there for lunch with a friend of mine. Suuuuper good and welcoming. We took the vegetable udon and the meatballs. Great portions and very good! And we also recommend the muffins 🥰🥹😋

07/04/2024: One of the best sushi in Verona. I went there in the evening, where the service is certainly better because there are fewer people. But the sushi was great, very fresh. Not to mention the frying, fried hosomaki done very well, light, you couldn't feel the classic heaviness of fried food. The "darkest" room is really beautiful and there isn't the classic chaos of crowded all-you-can-eats. It's worth going and trying. There's only the outside that's a little less well looked after than the inside but in any case it's not summer yet so maybe that's why.

23/03/2024: Il locale è abbastanza piccolo ma accogliente. I tempi di attesa sono un po' lunghi ma i piatti valgono l'attesa! Abbiamo mangiato principalmente sushi e tutto di ottima qualità!

10/03/2024: Courteous staff, very small but well-kept family restaurant Food a level above the average of any other all u can eat in terms of quality. It deserves it. Obviously, being small and cooking everything freshly at the moment, the wait may be slightly longer than in a normal Can Eat restaurant but it's really worth it.

In a panorama in which many sushi restaurants focus on excessively elaborate menus and flavours, often to the detriment of the freshness and authentic taste of the fish, Liu has been able to make simplicity his strong point. I have been a loyal customer of this place for years and have never had any disappointments: the sushi is always excellent, with fresh ingredients and attentive, impeccable service. Without a doubt, Liu Restaurant ranks among the best sushi restaurants between Brescia and Verona. If you are in Peschiera and love sushi, you absolutely must go!

21/03/2024: Ruined evening. My partner and I decided to spend an evening out of the ordinary, aiming for something nice and consciously a little more expensive than usual. We booked for 9.00pm because there was no availability before, but in any case when we arrived at around 8.50pm we found several free tables. We were greeted in a rather cold and inhospitable way by a well-dressed oriental lady who showed us a table in a corner, as we had requested since we had our little dog with us. We sat at the table and waited for them to come and take our order and unfortunately we were served before the gentlemen at the table next to us who arrived about ten minutes after us. When our turn arrived, the lady who had previously welcomed us took the order hastily and, looking at us as if we had just left a stable, without even letting me finish completing the order, she went back behind the counter. After a while a small bowl of edamame offered by them, water and wine arrived. Next came the starters and...that was it. After almost an hour of waiting we got bored and decided to leave feeling cheated. After going to the cashier and waiting a few more minutes before being taken into consideration, I complained about the delay and refused the owner's invitation to wait any longer for the preparation of the missing dishes. I asked for them to be canceled from the bill and I left, reluctantly leaving 60 €. Once I left the place I realized that I wasn't even given the receipt but only the one from the POS. The evening ended with a lot of anger and a stop at Mc Drive so as not to go to bed hungry. I will absolutely not return to this restaurant even though the food was overall good, based on what little we were able to taste.

10/03/2024: Wide selection of Asian food of different origins along with a diverse list of sushi and rolls. Affordable prices for a location that is so close to the tourist area (€13 for a bowl of ramen & €3 for a cup of hot matcha tea). Spacious space. The attitude of the servers, on the other hand, was off-putting. It's like they don't want to work.

13/11/2023: I put two stars only because the food isn't bad but I would like to put one star because they brought me a different dish than the one ordered because the chef had made a mistake and had not added some ingredients. I mentioned it to the waiter and also at the cash register but they made me pay for the dish in full. I find it incorrect.
