10/05/2026: The restaurant is pleasant and the service is friendly, but the spaghetti with clams for €18 was disappointing: there were about 10 shells on the plate, only 7 of which actually contained clams. I mentioned this at the cashier and was simply told they'd report it. It's a shame, because from a restaurant of this caliber, I expected more generosity on the main ingredient of the dish.

03/05/2026: Good morning, on 02/05/2026 I went with my wife to Al Gambero for dinner, everything was fine, the staff were absolutely friendly and efficient, the polenta with creamed cod was excellent, the tagliolini with truffle was the same, I will definitely be back with my wife and children, the staff were very friendly!

The restaurant is elegant and very welcoming, the staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful, the menu offers a wide selection of both meat and fish dishes, and the wine cellar is excellent. The dishes are excellent and carefully prepared. The price is in line with the quality. This restaurant continues to be a favorite after a long time and remains a top-notch restaurant in the Soave area.

We chose Locanda al Borgo because we already knew its many qualities, and they were all a confirmation: - Mara and Martina (the owners) Professional, extremely knowledgeable, and extremely kind, ready to answer any of my questions. They had a style and elegance in setting up both the ceremony and reception areas, using their suppliers, which made my wedding magical. - The food We chose the buffet courses and the dinner dishes from a wide variety of options... everything was impeccable. Our guests gave us countless compliments on the quality of the food, the appropriate waiting time for the courses, and the elegance with which the dishes were served. The dining room staff was also always polite, helpful, and professional. - Location: This place offers tons of options for organizing the ceremony, buffet, and dinner. The "Vista" room is truly magical, the outdoor garden with the castle in the background is incredibly romantic, not to mention the opportunity to take photos both in the botanical garden and inside the Rocca Sveva winery. 19/01/2026: A small bar on the main street, not far from the town hall. The exterior is very nicely decorated, with a feminine touch. The whole place invites you to stop for a quick break. There's certainly no shortage of wine inside, with some interesting labels for tasting. Unfortunately, I'm not used to it in the morning, so I only order breakfast and coffee before the trip. There are a few tables inside, but if you want to have a coffee at the counter, the space is limited (maximum 2-3 customers). Much of the counter is taken up by objects and products, which hinders the functionality and quick, accurate service. The coffee is pleasant, but again, it depends on personal taste. The two ladies serving were slow-moving and almost gave the impression of being slow or inexperienced...could be under new management!

21/07/2026: Lisa Anselmi and Paolo Pagliarini’s wine bar-restaurant – on the flower-filled piazza beside Soave’s medieval Scaligeri castle – is full of dark wood, rich colours, delicious food and distinctive wines. Lisa is the daughter of maverick winemaker Roberto Anselmi, who in 2000 made a Super Tuscan-style break from the Soave appellation. A meal here is the perfect opportunity to try Roberto’s wines as they’re intended to be enjoyed, alongside delicious regional dishes like vitello tonnato, white asparagus risotto (in season) and crunchy little sbrisolona cookies. The menu highlights the cuisine of Verona and Vicenza alongside casual offerings like pulled pork burgers and Caesar salads. And the wine list spans the Veneto region and beyond, with all of the Anselmi wines available by the glass. Service is professional and friendly and the atmosphere, relaxed and welcoming.

Today, I can say that, in addition to being friendly and kind, they're also very professional. I found myself ordering a 60-pound cake at the last minute, and they were kind enough to customize it and everything. Above all, it was incredibly good, we finished it all. 22/02/2026: Today, a trip to the hills for Sunday lunch. Good food, solidarity, and hospitality at the "Cinque pani e due pesci" Inn. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful village of Soave, in the hilltop hamlet of Fittà, lies a wonderful establishment founded by Don Paolo Pasetto and the Multiforme Cooperative, which has been providing shelter and work to vulnerable people for years. On Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch, you can enjoy excellent dishes made with produce from their fields, cheeses from their Cascina Albaterra, and delicious homemade desserts, as well as wines from the Coffele estate. All at reasonable prices. An opportunity to offer your support and enjoy a delicious meal. Reservations recommended! Today, I enjoyed a Savoy cabbage tartlet with their goat cheese fondue, porcini mushroom and leek risotto, egg macaroni with farmyard ragù, sliced ​​steak, and an excellent brownie with warm raspberry jam. 10/06/2026: The restaurant is located on a charming little street on the corner. It has a terrace and an indoor area. The menu features fish and meat dishes, and you can choose the antipasti, primi, and secundo for each. We opted for a main course and dessert. The quality of the food is very good and it is well prepared. Ordering was a bit difficult because they didn't always understand us well, but that is because we don't speak Italian. The wines are, of course, from local winemakers and are delicious. We had a lovely evening.
