06/06/2026: The atmosphere is beyond reproach, in front of you is the fountain and the cathedral. I must say the service was very attentive and the staff were friendly, the chocolate tasting was much appreciated.

20/07/2026: The bar is decidedly dirty, poorly maintained, and very old. The service is nonexistent, and the coffee is not good at all. The only kindness comes from the customers themselves.

30/12/2025: Nice pastry shop/cafe, but with outrageous prices. Charging 40 cents for a short glass of water (Shortino) for a coffee is unacceptable. A coffee and a drop of water total €1.70 at the counter, definitely excessive.

10/06/2026: Italian carbonara... It was my first time eating it in Italy, and it was good, good. The staff (or at least the waiter who served us) didn't speak English, which was a bit of a nuisance, but not a disaster. I saw other pastas disappearing. Salt and pepper are nonexistent, so you have to season them yourself. But overall, it was okay.

19/05/2026: We stopped for lunch and then continued on to the Bevagna theater for a performance. All five of us were planning on eating lightly and then working soon after, but when we tried the spectacular pappardelle with wild boar red sauce, no one turned down a second thought! Fabulous. We continued with arrosticini and mixed roasts: excellent.

29/09/2025: 2 burgers 4 glasses of Prosecco 2 desserts 1 100g burger 4 zucchini slices (counter) Total: €82.50 I went with my partner and my 9-month-old baby. They charged me €7 for a mini burger; I ordered 4 zucchini slices (counter) for my baby, and they charged me €6.50 (the receipt listed grilled vegetables)! I'm speechless!

01/08/2026: Unfortunately, we left before we could even sit down due to the staff's excessive arrogance. It was 11:58 a.m. One waitress rudely told us to wait 10 minutes, while her other colleague told us to wait 2 minutes because the register was closed, so she didn't even give us a chance to sit down. I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll have the chance to try what's on the menu. We know there's a certain time limit for serving customers, but we approached to ask for information since the opening time is 12 p.m.

08/04/2026: Good food, but a less than transparent attitude toward customers. At the end of the meal, we were offered their rice ice cream: even though it was clear we were already full, we were served a very large portion, without informing us of the existence of a smaller (and cheaper) version. Only when we got the bill did we discover that this was the most expensive portion. This behavior did not appreciate.

26/05/2026: A bar in the center overlooking Piazza Quaranta Martiri, excellent location, not very large, with outdoor seating. A Veneziana, a maritozzo, a coffee, and a small cup of barley coffee are €6.00. Nearby parking is available with a parking disc. I went after my blood tests and expected a lot more choice given the time. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, but the bathroom entrance was very awkward.

21/04/2026: We took a stroll around Gubbio on April 19, 2026, and stopped for ice cream at this bar near Piazza Quaranta Martiri. Delicious! 😉 And the staff was very friendly. I recommend it!

13/07/2026: Unfortunately, a myth has fallen, at least for me. The pizza isn't well-risen and has too much toppings, making it difficult, very hard to digest. Otherwise, they're always very kind and fast. Too bad.

10/06/2026: We stopped by Antico Café in Foligno for breakfast, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. Located right in the city center, the café has a warm and inviting atmosphere that lets you truly soak in the charm and energy of the city. The coffee was excellent, and the croissants were fresh and delicious. We also tried the mini croissant sandwiches, which were a delightful surprise and made for a perfect light breakfast. The customer service was outstanding—the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Antico Café is a lovely spot to relax, enjoy great coffee and pastries, and bask in the city's atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast and a great vibe!

24/05/2026: We periodically try to give this bar another chance because of its location, and every time it disappoints. This time it was the best: six perfectly ordinary cocktails (almost €60). We asked if they could offer just two snacks, peanuts and chips, the kind of food 99% of bars offer. They brought us a small bowl of peanuts and two 30g packets of chips, and charged us a whopping €2.20 for each. We pointed out that it was the first time we'd been charged for chips at that bar (60g for six people and one peanut each, practically, shocked) and that he could have said so since it's not listed on the menu. The waiter told us it was impossible and that it was for hygiene reasons, apologizing (at least) for not having warned us. It's ridiculous to charge a table that spent almost as much as a dinner 10 grams of chips each. You say nothing is included with the drinks due to a new policy. We order something else, and we're all happier. But leaving aside the lie (the truth is that today, since there were so many people, they thought we were a group of tourists to be fooled), the packets were put in the containers where we would hypothetically have poured the chips. I don't understand hygiene of what? We got up from there practically half drunk thanks to the 10 grams of chips and the peanut we'd eaten, but there's no way we'd have spent a single euro more here.

14/07/2025: A. Good farmhouse. I only went to eat. I didn't stay overnight. I have to say, the atmosphere is nice and friendly, full of kittens that keep us company. We ate outside. The atmosphere is nice. I think the prices are a bit high for the location. The starter was 18 euros and wasn't very rich. The menu on the blackboard was a few nice dishes to choose from, cooked quite well. I'll post some photos so you can get an idea of the dishes.
