03/05/2025: Having seen other reviews where they complained a bit about the road, but since I don't have a Ferrari I got there just fine anyway. And I did well, because when I arrived I found a very well-kept place, with very clean rooms and this is not to be taken for granted. The owners Mario and Anna, with the help of Luca, welcomed us very well and let us have dinner with them. Surprise fixed menu for 30 euros all inclusive, starter, first course, second course, wine, sweet water, coffee and bitters, all made by them and for our immense pleasure, excellent and plentiful. In addition to his kindness, Mario entertained us by telling us about the dishes he prepares and all the herbs he uses as a great expert. You can see that he does it with great passion. Certainly for those who come to these parts it is strongly recommended to stop and verify for yourself that what I said is true. Congratulations we had a great time.

17/09/2025: We stayed one night at Terre del Cantico. A wonderful location for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You'll feel incredibly pampered every moment of the day. In addition to the service, the attention to detail in the rooms is impressive; they're very spacious and beautiful. The food is excellent; we'll be back as soon as possible.

16/09/2025: A CHARMING PLACE SURROUNDED BY GREEN LANDSCAPE. The owners are extremely kind, and the chef cooks wonderfully. What can I say? Come by, it's worth it!

30/07/2025: I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Minerva in Assisi. The hotel is charming, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel truly cared for. Its location is ideal—just steps away from the cathedral and within walking distance of most of Assisi’s historical sites. While the hilly terrain can be a bit challenging, the stunning views and timeless beauty of the city more than make up for it. A memorable experience in a magical place.

22/06/2025: Stayed last week on a 2 day trip to Assisi. While the location is prime, and the room was very comfortable- there was a woman at the front desk who was just beyond rude. We had an experience with her in the restaurant where she was also our waitress. She brought us out extremely dry and hard bread. We politely asked her if perhaps we could have a little bit of olive oil (or perhaps even our drinks brought out so we didn’t choke.) and her response was “no. Olive oil is for salad only.” Meanwhile, the table behind us with a local family of clearly Italian folks, had oil for their bread (that’s how we had the idea to ask!!) The next day, we went to a restaurant in Gubbio, and our waiter brought oil to the table without us asking, we asked him and our guide for the day if that was just for the salad. They both looked at us very confused. When we told them that this woman from the hotel and hotel restaurant denied us such a silly request- they had the same response “so sorry. That’s not true and we’ve never heard of that. She probably didn’t want to serve you.” Perhaps this seems ridiculous to some to complain about this, but the fact is that no one else wants to feel as though someone is being discriminatory and not fulfilling a request because of that kind of attitude. Not only this, she was at the front desk (glasses, brown hair, late 40s maybe 50s) and just couldn’t be bothered. God forbid we had a question. Like I said, great location, comfortable room but we won’t be back. Every hotel in Assisi is technically a great location and all very competitive for pricing.

13/07/2025: Highly recommended, with fair prices and excellent food. The appetizer for two was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A great experience.

24/10/2025: Very large place, I think it has 100 tables, elegant and with the option of eating outside. Excellent food, service a bit slow: but that's normal on a Sunday; it was packed.

26/09/2025: Friendliness, kindness, and helpfulness from the owner and all the staff; excellent hotel, good food. I plan to return again; we had a great time (we were a group of four friends). I encourage everyone to visit.

13/09/2025: We were on a pilgrimage in Assisi and we stayed in three hotels. Specifically, we were not in this one, we just ate. Breakfast was terrible, only cheese and ham. No vegetables or yogurt, just very poor. But lunch and dinner were quite decent.

18/03/2025: la pizza costa poco e non è male e per questo sono sempre andata molte volte, studio a perugia da qualche anno e molti di noi vanno lì a prendere qualcosa essendo stra centrale e ad un prezzo economico, il problema è la signora che sta al bancone…mi ha insultata senza nessun motivo, guardandomi e dicendo che è per i giovani come me che il mondo sta andando in malora(?) premessa: ho semplicemente dei piercing al naso, stessa cosa è successa ad altri miei amici, insultati e addirittura chiusi fuori nel balconcino senza nessun motivo. boh, mi dispiace ma ci sono rimasta davvero male anche perché gli altri ragazzi che lavorano lì sono in gamba.

09/09/2025: We had pizzas for dinner. Also had antipasti affetati, cold cuts, they were nothing special but quite ok, cut in very thin way..a bit like you buy in a supermarket.. The personal behaved in a quite noisy way, joking and so on while waiting for more people to enter... Well, don't know if it's very polite to laugh, joke and speak sooo loudly ahead the clients..in a place like Assisi people may need to stop and enjoy the silence a bit having a dinner without such a "show" made by a foreign waitress and other employers🙈 Anyway pizzas were quite ok for the taste but only little topping on one pizza that we asked without cheese because of allergy and usually pizzaiolas put some oil on it to not have such a "dry" one topping with "dry" vegetables. I also asked when ordering, to have origano on my pizza. When the pizza arrived I nearly could see if thete was any traces of oregano. Strange..if I ask for it they don't even almost put it but I pay the normale price (and like said before I asked it without cheese so to "compansate" and being friendly they could have put at the same price a bit olive oil and much more oregano to put some more taste on it) The waiters aren't Italians so the service is basic but would't say not specially excellent and warm... We will not return here after this experience...

Whenever I'm looking for a tasty, quality lunch, it's my go-to! 🍕 Light dough, fresh ingredients, and a varied menu that pleases all tastes—from the classic Margherita to more gourmet options. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for both a quick lunch and an evening with friends. Highly recommended for both those who work nearby and those just passing through. 20/07/2025: Finalmente un ristorante che seppur in un luogo turistico ha mantenuto la propria identità . Buon rapporto qualità prezzo / buon servizio / ottime materie prime .. tutto molto corretto .. i chitarrini al sugo di pesce di lago eccellenti .. gli gnocchetti al gambero di lago perfetto sia come cottura che come equilibrio.. una splendida insalata di gfagilki del Trasimeno ed un indimenticabile ippocrasso fatto in casa

06/09/2025: I found it by chance while strolling through Passignano. I immediately opted for the charcuterie and cheese platter and torta al testo. It was just the perfect weekend. The delicious flavors are undeniable.

We stopped at this place which immediately gave the impression of being traditional and authentic... everything was perfect, the torta al testo was delicious, everything impeccable, even the wine... But the best thing of all was the friendliness, the cordiality, the helpfulness and the kindness we received... thank you for everything... we will gladly return...

15/10/2025: me and my husband come to yumi every time we come visit his parents in Italy!! We’re sooo lucky to have found this restaurant! If we could give it 10 stars we would! We indeed will be visiting it tonight! I highly recommend !
