If you're on the E45 and you're near Perugia, you absolutely must stop here for a meal because your experience will be, without a doubt, excellent. The umbricelli with Chianina ragù are excellent, and the grilled meats will make you realize that the human race has finally done something good. Thanks for existing, guys. It was a very pleasant surprise for us, and besides, if you find trucks parked outside a place, there's always a reason!!! ... and you pay very little!! EXCELLENT!!!

I waited a bit to write a review because serendipity helped me find this place, but my memory wouldn't help me remember where it was. Then a detail in a photo and that was it...and as an experienced reviewer, I couldn't help but share this incredibly positive experience with everyone (obviously, everyone has their own, and there's no arguing about that, Ed.). However, finding such a clean, organized place, with so many options and services, on a busy road and near a service area...is already a miracle...and if you then consider that the prices aren't at all high, that there's even a pet-friendly area, and (hear, hear!!) restrooms that would make your own home envious...what more need I say? Oh yes...the icing on the cake...the owner's friendliness (not a given, and obviously, that's also subjective), who serves nearly perfect coffee...oh, I'm not saying good...just exquisite. In short, you stop for a break on the way to Assisi, just long enough to catch up...and instead you find an oasis. I recommend it because I believe it's a valuable resource, not just for a quick stop or just for families...there's a large dining room where even large groups can dine. A little less than a restaurant but definitely much better than a gas station bar. Try it and believe it. Need some useful info? Then leave a like and look for other reviews on Assisi and especially on Rome, but not only.

I stopped for lunch. The food was excellent, the price was more than fair, and the first and second courses were very good. Ample parking for trucks.
