Excellent place, simple and efficient, good fish and expertly cooked, I hadn't booked a little while ago and they found me a place almost immediately, today I went back booking in advance and it was impeccable

We chose this place for a dinner with work colleagues. There were 14 of us. The dishes were served to us quickly. Good food but not excellent... the first courses disappointed us a bit... the spaghetti was too al dente for some and only the shells of the mussels and clams were available... the fried and grilled ones were very good however . We chose to dine outdoors but it was really too hot. For those who go in summer I recommend eating inside with air conditioning. Parking is not the best...We had to park along the street.

Nice place, but pretentious, with just decent cuisine

Very good food! Every dish have his special tast! Confirm as others that portions are big. I was there in July Friday and every table was occupied, cars park outside along road but stuff was very quick and nice. Best tiramisu!

If you're on the lake it's a must!!

Seafood menu with super generous portions and everything very good and you don't even spend a lot. I recommend going. I will definitely be back

I am forced to modify my previous review, visible below. The quality is no longer at the top as it once was, it has dropped slightly, while the prices have increased... Trovato per caso al ritorno di un viaggio. Ottima cucina con prodotti genuini e personale disponibile. Soltanto un po’ lunga l’attesa.

We had a wonderful lunch here. A very welcoming establishment and the service was excellent. My spaghetti alle vongole was the best I've ever had. Seek it out. You will not be disappointed. Great value too.

Anlässlich unseres Urlaub am Trasimeno See besuchten wir insgesamt fünf Mal das Restaurant Da Massimo zum Abendessen. Wir haben möglichst viel von der gut sortierten Speisekarte ausgewählt und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Die Speisen waren sehr gut zubereitet, geschmacklich perfekt und ausreichend dargeboten. An allen Abenden genossen wir einen freundlichen, vorzüglichen und aufmerksamen Service und das trotz Sprachbarrieren (wir sprechen kein italienisch). Beispielhaft sei aufgeführt, ich hatte einmal das "Antipasto di mare completto" als Vorspeise (unbedingt zu empfehlen) gewählt. Vier größere und kleinere Teller mit verschiedenen Fisch- und Muschelzubereitungen, die im angenehmen Rhythmus, ohne große Wartezeiten (auch für meine Tischpartnerin) hintereinander serviert wurden. Erwähnenswert ist, dass auch die Lamm-, Wurst- und Nudelgerichte sehr schmackhaft und genussvoll waren. Die Weinkarte ist sehr gut bestückt und bietet eine preislich gute, sowie günstige Weinauswahl. Das Ambiente, mit Blick auf den Trasimeno See, war für uns jeden Abend sehr entspannt und rundete den gemütlichen Abend ab. Sehr positiv empfanden wir, dass trotz der guten Qualität der Speisen und Getränke das Preisniveau sich sehr günstig darstellte.
