Dearest Donatella, I'm seeing the 4 restaurants on 8. For work I am often in Umbria and I frequent many restaurants, agritourisms and "farms". Congratulations for what I saw on the show regarding the quondam cello farm. I must say that in Umbria I have always eaten well and more than well. Only once I and whoever was with me ate terribly: in Gualdo Cattaneo at the hosteria il grottino. When I find myself in the Montecchio area I will know where to come and eat. Thank you

Beautiful location, sunny, quiet and safe place. Suitable for children and families. Excellent cuisine, homemade and above all digestible. Friendly staff, helpful and present at every customer request. Very clean and fragrant toilet.

Let me start by saying that I met Mrs. Donatella while watching the episode on 4 restaurants and her simplicity had already won me over.. Myself, my family and my dogs stayed at the Quondam for a weekend... what can I say, a wonderful place, beautiful rooms... and above all a simple but all delicious local menu (the strangozzi are wonderful)... welcoming service and then finally we had met Mrs. Donatella, a kind person who makes you feel truly at home.. thank you we had a really good time...

piena campagna umbra, arrivati alle 14 di un feriale, non proprio abbondante la scelta; 2 i primi proposti che proviamo : ottime le tagliatelle al cinghiale, buone quelle al tartufo bianco; tagliere di buona qualità ma scarso nella quantità; come secondi nessun tipo di tagliata disponibile solo brace o hamburger. Qualità dei prodotti a km0 proposti. servizio sufficiente, prezzi adeguati.

I start this review by praising the dining room staff who immediately gave me an excellent impression and so it proved. Despite this, we never felt neglected, quite the contrary, their professionalism, friendliness, attention to detail and helpfulness made our lunch even more pleasant. The products used are of excellent quality, confirming the Km0 local cuisine but divinely executed. Large outdoor area with parking in the immediate vicinity, small children's playground and good panoramic view. Without a doubt, a farmhouse restaurant that deserves all the fame it is surrounded by. I will definitely be back.

Ho avuto modo di apprezzare la qualità e la genuinità delle pietanze grazie ad un invito per motivi di lavoro. Ho cenato divinamente, diversi piatti uno migliore dell’altro, con ottimo vino ed olio. Grazie per l’ospitalità eccellente ed il servizio attento.

02/04/2024: Easter dinner, full from lunch but we couldn't miss this gem. Luckily we managed to find a place by booking a few days in advance. The restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful squares in Bevagna, in a slightly secluded street. As soon as you enter you immediately understand that you have entered a very characteristic place, all in stone, it seems like you have stepped back in time. We sit at a secluded table also because we had a small furry friend (so they couldn't give us better seats), the only flaw (perhaps) was that the cell phone didn't work. From the menu we read a good choice for all courses. We opt for 2 appetizers: lard and ciauscolo crostini and butter and anchovies crostini. After a very short wait we are served and we are amazed by the fact that simplicity always enhances quality. For the first courses we opted for homemade cappelletti with porcini mushrooms, very good, and the main dish for over 30 years: His Majesty "Gnocchi with Sagrantino Passito". I must confirm that the 30 years of trials and combinations behind us can actually be felt. They are really good, I hoped they would never run out. For dessert, a must cheesecake, which is also good.
