01/08/2026: A detour along the Eroica by motorbike!! Absolutely approved!! The spartan location of a true Osteria, the service informal, fast, and friendly. Excellent food, beyond normal expectations. They greeted me with a welcome entree, then I continued with pici with white Cinta Senese ragù (perfectly cooked and with a bold flavor). For my second course, since I was alone, I skipped the Florentine steak and opted for their tagliata. The latter was top-notch, accompanied by gratinated tomatoes. The price crowned the meal, €35 including water and coffee. Absolutely recommended. PS: Don't trust my photos; I wasn't thinking of reviewing them, so they don't do them justice.

17/08/2026: Salefino is an excellent restaurant located just on the outskirts of Siena. On our arrival, its kerb appeal wasn't great, but it quickly disguised a little hidden gem inside. The service was extremely good and very professional throughout our evening. This was probably our absolute favourite restaurant during our entire stay in Siena.The menu was not substantial, but they had many daily specials to choose from. We both tried the chicken and calamari—we thought this was a highly unusual combination at first, but to our surprise, it worked beautifully and was quite delicious!Inside, the restaurant is very spacious because they choose not to cram lots of tables in, which made for a very comfortable dining environment. There is an outside area to dine as well, but we preferred the interior. Highly recommended if you want high-quality food away from the tourist traps!

16/08/2026: A restaurant and wine bar just steps from Piazza del Campo. The location is charming, built over an Etruscan house whose walls are still visible. The food was wonderful, from appetizers to dessert, with a special mention for the wild boar cooked in milk... fabulous. However, what really makes this place so enjoyable are the service and the people who work there, from the owner to the young waiters, who not only provided excellent service but were also helpful, kind, and friendly, entertaining and chatting with us throughout the meal. I will definitely be back and have even recommended it to all my friends... congratulations again!

15/08/2026: The best italian cuisine you can possibly eat in Siena! The food was just incredible, and additionally the staff were very kind.

12/08/2026: We went inside, completely EMPTY restaurant. We asked if we can sit by the window - empty table, only 1 person sitting besides us. The RUDE waitress with 0 English kept saying ‘no’ we said ‘why?’ She kept saying ‘because no’ in Italian. She has no English and no manners. Don’t go here.

21/07/2026: The view and location are fantastic. We had a very pleasant time as a couple. Quiet and peaceful. The service, however, left much to be desired. The waiter gave the impression that he was far from enjoying his job. In the end, we even had to walk to the bar ourselves to order another drink. It is a real shame that this detracts so much from the beautiful location. Despite the view and the beautiful spot, we will skip this one for next time.

09/07/2026: Beautiful view, the food was okay for the price but not outstanding. The eggplant appetizer was very tasty, though. The waiters could be a bit friendlier, but all in all we really enjoyed it.

11/08/2026: We had two pizzas, veal meatballs, and a Caesar salad for lunch at this restaurant. The interior was very pleasant and cool. However, the dining room we were seated in was very noisy. I would still recommend this restaurant, which is located in a quiet area.

13/08/2026: The all-you-can-eat menu lives up to all its promises. You order the dishes you want using a tablet, and they bring them to your table. The servers are very friendly, and the service is fast. There's a huge selection, and everything is delicious.

11/08/2026: If you're in a hurry, don't come here. There's only one person managing the queue, plus three tables. We didn't even get to try the food, but we waited in line for 30 minutes and it didn't move at all.

31/07/2026: The rudest clerk I've ever encountered in my life, but the schiacciate were good and the prices were normal... I received a reply to this review stating that my explanation was inaccurate. I stand corrected about the panini, schiacciate, whatever you want to call them, the fact is they were really good. However, the staff, clerk or otherwise, treated us very rudely, even going so far as to snort when ordering the schiacciate. Especially when I was due to pay, the clerk complained that I'd chosen to pay just before he'd left for a cigarette. I just wanted to pay, but the clerk slammed the counter where the ATM sits and from which you cross the room to reach the deli counter in my face. Unheard of. It's sad that the clerk/owner denies the evidence. Don't try again.

03/12/2025: A typical Tuscan restaurant in a stunning location. Attentive service and a rustic Tuscan-style ambiance. In spring and summer, when dining al fresco is possible, it will be a great addition.

20/07/2026: Regarding the service and the ambiance, there's nothing to complain about. The quality-price ratio (not the food) isn't good. It's overpriced, and the taste isn't among the best we've tasted. For a seafood salad, a main course, and two side dishes, we honestly weren't there.

29/06/2026: Excellent first course of pici with clams and mussels, fried squid, prawns and mixed seafood. My wife had a fillet of sea bass with potato tart, salad, lemon sorbet and coffee. All very good, the price was in my opinion adequate.

12/08/2026: We visited Siena and after a lovely stroll, we found ourselves visiting the Orto de' Pecci. Inside, there's this lovely restaurant and pizzeria. The welcome was excellent, the food was excellent, and especially the location, which despite the heat, allowed us to eat outside without suffering too much. Recommended.

03/06/2026: A modern seafood bistro in a village on the shores of a countryside lake! It might seem unusual, but it's an excellent place for those who love seafood and good wine. The service is courteous, fast, and professional. The dishes are tasty and beautifully presented. The wine list is good. Prices are moderately high.

03/06/2026: A typical Tuscan Enoteca with excellent food and a fantastic choice of wines and cellar. The atmosphere is typically Tuscan in a 15th century walkway with attentive service and warm atmophere. Riccardo is the perfect host! Highly recommended! if the terrine is on the menu DO have it! Stop and have a slow meal and reserve just in case!!!

25/05/2026: The chicken breast was good, but I think €20 is too high and not fair for that portion. For that price, I would have expected at least a side dish. Or something special in some way... in the end, it was just boiled chicken breast for €20. I'm sorry, but it wasn't worth it.
