We found this shop through Google Maps and we're intrigued by the lovely entrance. You are welcomed with an nice and respectful greeting and great service. The interior feels very authentic and makes you truly feel like you are in a unique and local heaven of Gastronomy. We had a cheese and a cold cut platter and it was lovely. The self made cheese with Porcini and Parmesan was exquisite. The owner let us taste some of his amazing Porchetta. The next time we visit Siena we will come and bless our taste buds again.

We went here for cheese and ham platters in the afternoon. We like the entrance of the place, covered by plants, very beautiful. Inside is very cozy and the owner is very friendly. Food was amazing! Love the cheese with Porcini, highly recommended and the owner made it himself! Also try the Porchetta sandwich!

We came in for a platter and two glasses of wine. The suggestion to make it more unique than usual made us very happy and satisfied. We truly appreciated the welcome and the owner's philosophy of using "humble" ingredients to create unusual and truly exceptional combinations! The panforte and vinsato (a sweet dessert) were also truly delicious. The only drawback was the slightly higher price compared to the standard fare. Is this justified by the uniqueness of the offering? The answer is certainly subjective.

If you have a few hours to spend in Siena, it's definitely worth it to enjoy a sandwich here. Delicious sandwiches, top-quality ingredients, and a cuisine with an amateur feel, but the owner is incredibly professional. The wait is worth it with a unique culinary experience.

Very cool place, I think most of the issue was my ordering. There a bunch of different menus and I didn’t realize that and ordered off the sausage menu. The sausage was not what I prefer and a bit unusual. Saw some other things people ordered that looked delicious. A bit hard to navigate the menus and hard to find were main drawbacks

06/04/2026: We had dinner here on Easter Sunday. Even though the place was packed, they were very kind and invited us back shortly after. The service was perfect, fast, and courteous. They made us feel welcome from start to finish. The food was excellent. We tried several different types of pasta. It was a pleasant surprise, right up until dessert. Recommended ☺️
13/03/2026: Too high expectations = a little disappointed... They had changed a starter without telling us, instead of a mascarpone cream with licorice & lemongrass they served artichoke alla giudea with mayonnaise 🤷‍♀️ The pasta that was a speciality for the evening sounded so good when he explained it turned out to be a regular tomato sauce with a local garlic, well...

Trattoria Al Rientro

01/02/2026: I stayed at this beautiful property for a weekend. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and get away from it all.
18/01/2026: Charming, almost uninhabited village, but there is a good pizzeria restaurant adjacent to the hotel. The rooms on the return are clean and quite large. The owners are friendly and very kind. The continental breakfast is standard.
