09/03/2025: We took 2 well-stuffed trays, the pizza turned out to be a little taller than the single one. Much appreciated by all. Arrived 10 minutes late, but that's OK, we're not Swiss. A tip to the pizza chef: put the salami under the tomato, otherwise it will dry out👍👌

17/05/2025: Ottimo pranzo veloce dopo un incontro presso il vicino ospedale. Buffet di verdure fresche e di sottili, tutto buonissimo e molto fresco. Tagliata molto buona con carne molto tenera e cotta molto bene. Buon vino della casa. Servizio ottimo e molto piacevole. Costo 35€ a testa con dolce e caffè, molto buono

07/06/2025: We booked a cooking class with Karin and it was the most unique and beautiful experience. The villa and grounds are stunning rich with history. The pasta we made was incredibly delicious, fresh and organic. We aren’t vegan but enjoy eating vegetarian and this was impeccable.

07/06/2025: Un po' fuori dagli itinerari turistici, non spaventino la strada ed il non comodo parcheggio, perche' una volta arrivati a tavola la ricompensa sara' grande: una cena indimenticabile in un ambiente assolutamente rilassato. Menu' abbastanza ampio e di non facile scelta perche' tutto pare interessante, nulla e' banale; lista vini ampia e ben studiata, qualche proposta al calice assai valida (se devi guida' piu' di due bicchieri nun si pole), oste cordiale, non invasivo e di affidabili consigli. Con mia moglie abbiamo preso (e condiviso) crostini (deliziosi), flan di zucchini (si scioglieva in bocca), ribollita (perfetta e simpatica col cipollotto crudo), carre' di agnello (equilibrato e gustoso) ed un sorprendente cinghiale "rinascimentale" (esplosione di sapori, cacao incluso, gestiti in sapiente equilibrio). erbette passate (giuste). Per finire il loro tiramisu (originale e da provare) ed un'altra ricetta rinascimentale, lo zuccotto (una vera poesia). Ci sono piaciuti il rigore nella scelta dei prodotti, la sapienza in cucina, capace di esaltare i sapori mantenendo grande equilibrio nei piatti, l'ambiente disteso e conviviale grazie all'oste. Per l'esperienza fatta abbiamo trovato il conto onestissimo! Dovevamo partire il giorno seguente, altrimenti saremmo tornati. Cosa che faremo certamente in futuro.

06/06/2025: Dopo una visita al bel paese di Trequanda siamo tornati al Conte matto. Ancora una volta le nostre aspettative non sono state deluse. Dall'antipasto al dolce un susseguirsi di portate indimenticabili. Non da meno la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari. Sicuramente torneremo.

25/05/2025: A very memorable and traditional trattoria. Rubel and the team are so welcoming and attentive and the food is prepared beautifully. We ordered the mouthwatering tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, roast pork, veal and the best side of peas we’ve tasted in a long time. We loved it so much that we revisited the next evening and ordered the tagliatelle with venison, peas, spinach and finished with an excellent tiramisu. I highly recommend this trattoria for an authentic and memorable dining experience

10/06/2025: Awesome food: one of the best pasta we had in Italy so far. Service: our server was professional and friendly. Wine: don’t mark up too much and had a great selection. Atmosphere: it was cozy, special, we all loved it. This restaurant has Michelin star since 2007. We counted it and I think they only missed couple years and won every single year after. We are not surprised since their food is spectacular.

08/06/2025: Gosh what an experience! This restaurant deserves all it's praise! The food was outstanding, I am still blown away by how tasty it was! The boar cooked in wine and milk for hours was especially good. The staff were all friendly and executed their jobs very well. I would recommend to anyone. Just be sure to book a table well in advance as they are very busy.

03/06/2025: Beautiful little restaurant/cafe/bar in one. Staff are very friendly and attentive and there's a reasonably large menu of sandwiches, antipasti etc. I'm a coeliac so they did a gluten free sandwich and were concerned about contamination which is great. They also had gluten free Cornetto and maxibon ice creams, incredible! Didn't expect it and a perfect Italian atmosphere.
