28/06/2026: The food at this little restaurant is out of this world. We booked dinner there on a Sat evening, while staying a five minute drive away at Hotel Villa l'Avvenire (highly recommended). The engaging and passionate owner and chef gave us his recommendations, for the non tartare menu. We had the meal of a lifetime. To start, we shared a refreshing tomato mousse and a creamy courgette mousse, which complemented one another, on a very hot evening. Taste and presentation were superb. We then shared a Black Angus Carpaccio and a potted pork dish laid on a bed of cannelli beans, both flavoured delicately and thoroughly delicious. The chef recommended an accompanying red wine of the region, which was perfect. He then suggested a local cheese plate with two types of hard cheeses served with his red pepper marmelade - a match made in heaven. We then shared his panacotta with berries, which was incredible and finished off with an espresso. This meal really was worthy of a Michelin Star. You must go there, when in Siena.

27/04/2026: Our group of four loved our stay on the farm! The views are spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect for doing day trips throughout Tuscany. The breakfast got our day started right every day and the dinner we had there was awesome. We enjoyed the wine they make there and the service was prompt and courteous. We have stayed at a couple of agriturismos in the last few years and feel it is a great way to experience what Italian life is all about. Keep in mind, this is a working farm. This family is working their tails off to host guests as well as run a productive farm. We felt like part of the family even though we are loud Americans. I almost forgot the animals. I woke up our first morning there to a giant pig outside our window. Pigs, rabbits, chickens, ponies, a macaw, goats and the wonderful golden retrievers were all a joy. The donkey was a highlight as well. Just don't visit him at night as he will wake up the entire farm! Stay here when you visit Tuscany. You wont regret it.

16/08/2026: We've had a wonderful dinner at Mastrojanni this weekend - the food was delightful - I found caponata and mille feuille particularly memorable, however everything we've eaten was cooked with attention to detail and knowledge of ingredients that make the food stand out. The service was speedy, professional and knowledgeable. We look forward to coming back.

05/07/2026: Let's start with the food: truly excellent. We ordered mixed platters and pizzas and were well-filled, to our delight. I personally tried the Totò pizza, aka Salsiccia e Friarielli, which for me is the hallmark of a quality pizzeria: it passed with flying colors. Then Daniele and I had fun all evening joking about the "blonde lady," who was definitely a picky customer! See you next time.

31/07/2026: A visit to this restaurant is definitely worthwhile! The food is typical Tuscan, there's a pleasing selection, and the service is very quick—almost too quick. Unfortunately, the service ends as soon as the food arrives. We would have appreciated significantly more attention. Perhaps it simply wasn't the right moment.

04/08/2026: The dishes didn't meet expectations. The presentation was beautiful. One of the four appetizers we tried was excellent. We didn't order the first course, so I can't comment. Be careful with the main courses, however; the suckling pig, in particular, had lost its moisture, while the pigeon was unfortunately raw inside, making it unpleasant. However, we weren't charged for the dish. The professionalism, kindness, and speed of the service were appreciated. I'd like to return to try other dishes, hoping my experience was an exception.

05/04/2026: Looking for a place to have dinner, we accidentally found this place and had dinner there. The salad and two entrees were very well received, and the service was friendly, helpful, and fast. We recommend it!

17/03/2026: Stayed here for couple of nights. The hotel is attached to an enoteca where you can do wine tasting and do breakfast (need to ask in advance for an additional fee). The staff members were really helpful - I had a special request which was very well taken care by the hotel manager. The hotel is close to the entrance of Montepulciano old city. There are several restaurants and bars nearby for you to choose.

13/06/2026: Four of us dined here, sampling a variety of dishes, from appetizers to dessert... all truly excellent, using top-quality ingredients. The service was young, attentive, and friendly... a truly recommended place, a wonderful surprise, and excellent value.

07/06/2026: Lovely restaurant! We were surprised by the high-quality of the food and the wonderful plating- not what I was expecting from a small town restaurant. Very reasonably priced for what you got. I would go out of my way to come back. The wine was incredibly reasonable.

11/07/2026: A wine bar in the heart of Poggibonsi, where you can also dine and enjoy aperitivo. A minimalist venue, space isn't its strong point, but everything is well utilized, starting with the aesthetically pleasing wine display. The manager is extremely kind and attentive, knows how to recommend, and is very respectful of his customers. The platter of local cured meats is excellent, the beef tartare with mayonnaise reduction is tempting, and the pinsa with basil mousse, stracciatella, and cherry tomatoes is a real surprise. Recommended in season because it's truly delicious and exudes freshness. Prices are in line with current standards and other similar establishments. I've never been there, but I'll definitely be back.

28/04/2026: I Love You Enoteque was a wonderful discovery. The cuisine respects tradition with a touch of elegance: the smoked beef carpaccio is tender and fragrant, while the creamed chickpea soup with roasted chestnuts offers a wonderful contrast of textures. The dessert, a masterfully crafted Biancomangiare, is also very interesting. All this is accompanied by a selection of high-quality wines, served in a clean space with the typical atmosphere of the finest Tuscan wine bars. The welcome was warm and professional.

31/03/2026: Excellent place to get a cozy lunch near Cathedral del Duomo. Many options for vegetarians and the menu reflects the local Toscana specialties. Kitchen is open and sort of noisy, and we had to request plates a couple of time, but otherwise the service was respectful and courteous.

27/03/2026: Osteria Bonelli was easily the highlight of our entire trip in Italy. After traveling through Venice, Rome, and Florence, this spot in Siena took the top prize for us. We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and were surprised it wasn't busier, this place is a total hidden gem that deserves a line out the door. We ordered the lasagna and the yellow squash risotto, the lasagna was perfectly cheesy and rich, while the risotto had an amazing, deep nutty flavor. We paired everything with a local Chianti that was excellent. The atmosphere was awesome, featuring a perfect blend of historic stone walls and cozy, warm lighting. Pricing was very reasonable, if not on the cheaper side, for the experience we had. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the experience even better. If you are in Siena, do yourself a favor and skip the tourist traps for this place instead. You won’t regret it.

12/06/2026: My husband and I had dinner at this small restaurant/pub. We had made reservations, realizing it was quite small with only a few tables inside and out, based on other reviews. Silvio, the young owner, welcomed us kindly and served us quickly. We ordered two platters of mixed cured meats, three types of pecorino cheese and porchetta, two portions of Tuscan tripe in a pot, a portion of fried potatoes, and a plate of eggplant with mushrooms and pan-fried chicory. We were truly satisfied; everything was delicious!!! Not everyone likes tripe, and obviously there were other options, but if someone does, we can say they were the absolute best we've ever had in a restaurant. We absolutely recommend it!

05/06/2026: We stopped here on a whim today and were blown away. The pasta was delicious and the fries were the best we’ve had in Europe so far. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. The craft beer selection is fantastic and a nice change of pace from all the wine tasting. The owner is friendly and accommodating and will tailor a beer to whatever you’re in the mood for. He really knows his stuff. Prices are extremely reasonable. A great place to stop for lunch and grab a beer!

15/08/2026: We came here by chance, drawn in by the fact that they made the cutlet our son had been wanting for three days... we ate very well and the place is beautiful! The bill was also very fair... next time we're in Siena we'll definitely be back.
