30/04/2026: We went there for lunch because we were on a bus tour to Siena. We asked the server if they can accommodate as we only have 50 min. They were very nice and recommended the dishes only take a short amount of time. We ended up with lasagne and tagliolini, they were both very good. And more importantly we finished the lunch on time and were not so much of rush.

21/04/2026: We planned a lunch on our return from S. Filippo, and we made a reservation. Even so, they were very understanding that we arrived a little late. The food was incredible, with very generous portions. The setting is very pleasant, with a large garden and tables arranged along it, making it very inviting and private, even though it's in the center of the small town. I recommend it!

19/04/2026: ​I have been having a wonderful time in Tuscany, but my experience at this restaurant was deeply regrettable. I arrived shortly after 7 PM as one of the first few groups of the day. Without being offered any choice, I was seated at a table positioned right under the edge of a thatched umbrella, where debris from the roof had already fallen onto the table. ​Initially, I assumed the inner tables were fully reserved. However, for the entire hour I was there, those comfortable and warm seats remained vacant. What disappointed me most was witnessing every single guest who arrived after me being offered the freedom to choose their preferred table. ​As an Asian guest, being pushed to an edge seat while later guests were given preferential treatment felt like clear discrimination. This unpleasant experience completely overshadowed the meal. While the owner seems to care about their online reputation, the manager on duty this Sunday evening clearly does not share that philosophy. If you are the owner, you should seriously reconsider your service standards and retrain your staff. I am seriously considering reporting this discriminatory experience to the Michelin Guide and other relevant organizations

02/05/2026: A decidedly negative experience. We had made a reservation, clearly specifying that we would bring strollers and a small dog (a toy poodle), and received no objections or instructions to the contrary. Once we arrived at the restaurant, however, the welcome was anything but professional: presumably the owner, in a brusque and decidedly impolite manner, prevented us from even sitting down, clearly showing annoyance at our presence and dismissing us abruptly. Beyond the lack of flexibility, what was striking was the attitude: disrespectful, lacking in customer care, and completely out of line with what one would expect from a business that serves the public. Even if there had been organizational difficulties, one would have expected a minimum level of availability, or at least a polite and constructive approach. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling deeply uneasy and disappointed. A restaurant should, above all, be a welcoming place, but in this case, the fundamental premise was completely missing: respect for the individual. I've never left a negative review for a business: my approach has always been to avoid it, even when mix-ups or unpleasant experiences occur. This time, however, I couldn't help but do so. For the first time, and hopefully the last, I encountered an attitude that it's no exaggeration to call demeaning toward customers. I believe this type of behavior should cause serious reflection for anyone who works with the public, especially tourists, for whom hospitality, respect, and professionalism should be essential values.

22/04/2026: March 2025. I discovered the hotel while cycling through the town. After a while, I returned (again on my bike) to refresh myself and read outside. It's a place I miss, because every time I've been there, I've found glimpses of serenity. The cats, the world fixed on a wall in the reception area welcoming you, the postcards and vivid memories of Sara's travels make the bar a melting pot of sensations and feelings. If you value simplicity and beauty, this is the right place for you.

19/04/2026: We stayed at this splendid property for a weekend getaway. The location is simply stunning, surrounded by nature. Angela's welcome was very warm and she gave us lots of great advice on what to do in the area (we had booked a Vespa tour with them and visited Montepulciano and Pienza, both just a dozen minutes away from the agriturismo). We booked the Honey room, spacious and with a giant whirlpool tub and shower! We were also impressed by the impeccable cleanliness! We also tried the restaurant, which offers traditional Sienese dishes and strictly handmade pasta. Kudos to the wait staff (the maitre d' and the hostess, whose names we unfortunately don't know) who were incredibly helpful and kind. Last but not least, the property's mascots: Tigger the kitten, super cuddly; Camilla the goat, who ran up to us as soon as she saw us and gave us a mouthful! We'll definitely be back! 17/04/2026: My stay at the Belagaggio farmhouse was simply unforgettable. The property was welcoming and meticulously maintained, with comfortable rooms and a rustic yet elegant style. Some rooms even have a spa. One of the aspects I appreciated most was the cuisine: typical Tuscan dishes, accompanied by the excellent wine they produce. Pici al ragù was top-notch. I recommend everyone to try it. The family who runs the farmhouse was very kind and welcoming. Thanks to them, I felt right at home. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place right in the heart of Tuscany. I would love to go back!

28/04/2026: WHAT A WONDERFUL DISCOVERY! Along one of the most picturesque and beautiful roads that cut through the fabulous Crete Senesi from Siena to Asciano, lies Osteria la Pievina. Although the restaurant is located on the road, there is convenient parking (about 50 meters away) on the street in front. The restaurant is rustic, with typical osteria decor. You can eat inside or under a lovely pergola. The ABC of a good osteria is a good house wine, and this expectation was fully met: the wines by the carafe we ​​tried were from two nearby local farms, and both were exceptional! There were four of us, and we ordered a La Pievina antipasto platter featuring four different types of crostoni, cured meats, cheeses (from a nearby farm, truly fabulous!), and jams. We then ordered four first courses: pici cacio e pepe, pici cacio e pepe with fava beans and rigatino, pappardelle with wild boar, and pici with Tuscan ragù. All the pasta is made fresh daily by the expert hands of chef Laura. The pici are firm to the bite and capture all the sauce they're topped with; they are undoubtedly the best I've ever eaten during my trips to Siena. All the dishes were more than appreciated by our guests. A special mention for the pappardelle with wild boar: these days it's increasingly difficult to find them well-made; the ragù is often a bland, flavorless mince, whereas here the meat was chopped with a knife (a rarity I greatly appreciated) and there were chunks of stew that melted in your mouth. Finally, I ordered the liver. Even the most hardened vegan would have succumbed to this. A true triumph of flavor, a true and authentic celebration of the raw ingredients: congratulations! We finished with homemade desserts, all delicious. The service was quick and courteous. I highly recommend everyone to stop by this osteria between enjoying the view!
