06/08/2025: If I had a wine bar, I would want it to be just like this one. Quirky, idiosyncratic, devoted to quality, but not caring what anyone else thinks. The owner loves music, so he has photos up of musicians he has liked: Muddy Waters, Janis Joplin, and the Blues Brothers, among others. The menu is short, but interesting. I had a tasting plate of Tuscan cheeses and a couple of glasses of red. The first one was non-descript, a blend of standard northern Italian grapes, but also not expensive. The second was an Italian pinot noir, but more interesting, and still not expensive. Everything about the place is a little chaotic, a little disorderly, as though it were run by your crazy uncle. If you have a sense of whimsy or harbour a certain rebelliousness, you will love it. My favourite moment was when I saw the sign that said No Aperol Spritz. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know.

02/08/2025: Muy buen servicio como se señala en una gran cantidad de comentarios y una hermosa vista. La comida es buena como IT suele ser en Italia, pero en términos relativos hay algunas fallas con este lugar en comparación con otros. No vi mucha evidencia de cocina creativa, es decir, la burrata de mi esposa obviamente se compró y se sirvió en una cama de verduras encurtidas muy probablemente de un frasco: su plato de pasta se sirvió en una salsa de tomate de especias muy básica. Todo muy agradable, pero la burrata era de 14 € y la pasta de 16 €, lo que me lleva al segundo punto - este es relativamente hablando un lugar caro sin mucha evidencia de ninguna creatividad real para justificar los precios. El filete florentino es de 70 kg € que tendrá dificultades para pagar más en esta zona. Dicho todo esto, IT fue un almuerzo agradable con un servicio muy atento en un entorno precioso. Normalmente IT conseguiría 4 estrellas pero, de nuevo relativamente hablando, habrá mejor comida servida a un precio más razonable en otro lugar.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!

31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro. Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.

15/06/2025: Luogo incantevole in cui lo Chef Francesco Nunziata col suo eccellente staff , ci hanno accompagnato in un'esperienza degustativa meravigliosa, un viaggio dove il godimento è stato totale per vista, olfatto e gusto . Non per ultima la cura e l'attenzione per le portate e il pane senza glutine .Grazie a tutti per ciò che avete regalato 🥰

01/08/2025: The food was delicious (oven-baked chicken with fries, pasta) and the service was friendly. It's a shame they charged a coperto fee for our 2-year-old who dined with us.

14/07/2025: A wonderful discovery! The setting is magnificent, truly pleasant. The staff is very welcoming. The dishes were excellent, with generous portions. A place we recommend without hesitation, and where we will return with pleasure.

10/05/2025: Siamo tornati in questa taverna ad un anno di distanza perché avevamo un ottimo ricordo Il locale ci era stato consigliato da una persona del posto. Cibo genuino dove puoi riscoprire i sapori toscani. La freschezza degli ingredienti si percepisce su tutto quello che viene servito, compresi i dolci fatti rigorosamente in casa. Picci all' aglione, tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale, fiorentina, tagliata,..... tutto di prima qualità! Ritorneremo sicuramente quando saremo in zona!

01/07/2025: A very nice little pizzeria with a huge selection of fantastic pizzas! Excellent service. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on the last day of our vacation. The menu is also in German, and the service speaks excellent German! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back!

23/07/2025: First of all, the food was delicious and reasonably priced! The waitress was also fantastic, as was the service! The atmosphere was great, and the terrace was nicely filled.

11/08/2025: The Osteria da Gano was a real hit! The restaurant was recommended to us by the host of our hotel Palazzo di Valli – and it was a top tip. Every single dish was convincing: – The Crostone with Cavolo Nero and Lardo was rustic and sophisticated. – The ravioli with pumpkin, gorgonzola and walnuts – creamy, nutty, perfectly balanced. – The tagliatelle al ragù bianco di cinta were a dream – the finest ragù from the Cinta Senese pig, typical of the region. – Also salad and vegetable side dishes: fresh, lovingly prepared, simply honest and delicious. The service was super friendly, attentive and calm - you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy with loving details. Great value for money. Conclusion: If you are in Siena – go! A real recommendation for anyone who likes good Tuscan cuisine.

29/07/2025: The food was very good and reasonably priced. Restrooms were very clean and well-maintained, a highlight for Siena. Service was a bit sloppy; the bill arrived before the double. Triple seating was okay, but we felt a bit rushed out. Otherwise, it was a very nice place.

29/07/2025: A hidden gem. Tucked away in a side street, you'll find a wonderful, traditional restaurant. Make a reservation, be sure to. The quality, service, and selection are superb. All in all, a definite recommendation, even with children and dogs.

09/06/2025: The Food was amazing and combined with their natural wines and great service we had a very nice experience. During our stay we ate there twice. We can recommend their Anicisa sparkling wine!

23/05/2025: Nothing to say except perfect in every way. Very good food, rustic but refined environment, really very clean, and then what can I say you are in the middle of breathtaking views
