A typical Tuscan restaurant in a stunning location. Attentive service and a rustic Tuscan-style ambiance. In spring and summer, when dining al fresco is possible, it will be a great addition.

I stumbled upon this little gem while driving through Val d’Orcia and it’s an absolute must visit! At some point I wondered where my GPS was taking me but keep going, I promise it’s with it. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the food was very delicious. I had carbonara with fresh truffles and a panna cotta for desert. The wine was excellent as well. They have a small menu in comparison to other restaurants but there’s something on there for everyone. Additionally, this way they can make sure the produce is always fresh and local. The staff was very friendly as well. They also had an adorable cat that would sit down next to you. I will definitely come back here if I visit Val d’Orcia again.

We had an amazing lunch here - The views were incredible and the food was fresh and delicious! Top notch service as well. Definitely one of our favorite meals during our trip to Tuscany.

Usually, to say you had a good time somewhere, you say "it felt like home"... but oh well!! Who cooks like this at home!?! We stumbled upon it by chance and found ourselves in an enchanting place: a place where you can breathe in authenticity, a fairytale garden, with a view that's so refreshing... with ingredients wonderfully handled by the owner Flavio, who exudes love and passion for what he does in every single gesture! ..."I wouldn't rule out returning"... It's certainly no secret that you eat well in Tuscany, but here we truly are on another level. We dined in a magical place, nestled in the hills of the Val d'Orcia, warmly welcomed by the chef and her granddaughter. Every dish was meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients from the garden and the local area (special mention for the pici 😋). Not only did we eat divinely, but we felt pampered and welcomed like part of the family. An unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever 🥰

We were here on Saturday lunchtime and had the restaurant all to ourselves – very quiet and pleasant. The Pollo dalla Domenica and the vegetarian lasagna were excellent. The chef is very friendly and approachable, and the dessert was also a highlight. All in all, a fantastic experience!

Agriturismo Pieve Sprenna Restaurant

27/04/2026: Our group of four loved our stay on the farm! The views are spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect for doing day trips throughout Tuscany. The breakfast got our day started right every day and the dinner we had there was awesome. We enjoyed the wine they make there and the service was prompt and courteous. We have stayed at a couple of agriturismos in the last few years and feel it is a great way to experience what Italian life is all about. Keep in mind, this is a working farm. This family is working their tails off to host guests as well as run a productive farm. We felt like part of the family even though we are loud Americans. I almost forgot the animals. I woke up our first morning there to a giant pig outside our window. Pigs, rabbits, chickens, ponies, a macaw, goats and the wonderful golden retrievers were all a joy. The donkey was a highlight as well. Just don't visit him at night as he will wake up the entire farm! Stay here when you visit Tuscany. You wont regret it.

Cannoleria Ke Cassata

31/10/2025: The shop is small but stocked with tons of wonderful Sicilian desserts. They even make the 7 veli (literally, "seven veils"), which takes you to heaven. The cassata is delicious and has a well-balanced sugar content, never cloying. The cannoli are filled fresh, as is traditional, with pistachio or other flavors. They also have delicious arancini. And then there's more, like jars of sauce for pasta with sardines. It's small, but it takes you back to authentic Sicily. A lovely surprise in the city of Siena. And truly excellent products.
22/10/2025: I have been cannoli hunting and these are some of the best I’ve found so far! We won’t have time to go all the way to Sicily this trip, but we sure got a taste of it. The lady at the counter was so sweet and let me stumble through my attempt at ordering in Italian despite my awfully-English pronunciation. She gave them to me wrapped up so cute. I also got an arancina to try for the first time- great first impression!
