The best place we've eaten in Italy so far. The location is absolutely spectacular and the food is exceptionally fresh and tasty. Most of the produce is either grown in the owners garden or sourced within a kilometer of their home (including the lovely wine - you can see the vineyard from your table!) This is a really special place, it's an amazing experience. I would recommend it to anybody going to Tuscany - go out of your way to go here, you will not regret it! They also have a gorgeous, friendly dog :)

Highly recommend this truly authentic Toscan restaurant! Homemade cooking with most products sourced locally. Generous portions and delicious, homemade food. Very friendly personnel (speak English), and absolutely breadth taking view! The restaurant is relatively low-key, so do not expect anything fancy, but rather cosy, proper Tuscan and definitively not touristy place. Can’t recommend enough!

Scegliamo questo posto essendo vicino alla nostra struttura. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente soddisfatti. La location è molto carina e curata e la cucina molto casereccia e buona.

01/04/2024: I went to this place for lunch with a small group of adults on a cultural trip to Pienza and Monte Oliveto Maggiore. Super hospitality and service. Great attention to all our dietary needs, a very private and welcoming place, an exceptional menu, with high quality local ingredients. Excellent value for money. Convenient parking in the immediate vicinity (also for coaches), total wheelchair accessibility, as everything is on the ground floor. Highly recommended.

02/04/2024: If you are someone looking for a relaxing and non-touristy environment this is not the place for you. The dishes themselves are good, unfortunately expensive (as elsewhere too), but the service is not the best. The host did not welcome and serve us as if we were his guests, as has happened to us at every other dinner in the Chianti area, but it was a very commercial experience. We only had dinner there because we were staying at the owner's B&B, and we had to remind him at the cash register of the "discount" he had promised us. If you are a person looking for a trendy place, full of people, touristy, with pop-commercial music in the background, willing to spend without paying much attention to the experience itself, then this is the place for you! Shortly after my review the owner contacted me via Whatsapp, I attach the screenshot of the chat. His messages denote the professionalism and intelligence of this gentleman, a skilled salesman, but who has much to improve in terms of courtesy and hospitality towards his customers. However, I invite you to visit Castellina in Chianti, a true pearl of the area. Fortunately we also met humble and pleasant people! P.s. For the kind owner: the reviews are automatically translated by Google, I wasn't giving any tone, I'm telling you so maybe you avoid slip-ups in the future. Over your alleged insult about my origins... let's draw a merciful veil. Ignorance and arrogance always go hand in hand. Congratulations!
