07/11/2025: Wonderful experience, very kind and helpful staff. The location is a bit rustic but very welcoming. The wait was very short, the food was DELICIOUS; I tried several dishes and couldn't find anything wrong with them; homemade pasta, fresh artichokes/porcini mushrooms, and fantastic artisanal desserts. The only downside is that the prices are quite high (a bit too high for some items), but overall, it's an excellent place that I would recommend to anyone.

07/10/2025: We were tempted by the reviews, and what can I say? We were not disappointed. The food was simply delicious (we had pici with wild boar and a Fiorentina steak – over a kilo, wine, beer, schnapps, and tiramisu). We were also asked what music we would like to listen to 😁. We can only share the positive reviews and recommend not being swayed by the entrance – the real gem (food and service) is inside. The owner is simply fantastic. The evening will be unforgettable. 17/10/2025: While riding my motorcycle along the Eroica dirt roads, I stumbled upon this fantastic hotel/restaurant. It's a family-run hotel, and I was struck by the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. The service was impeccable, with garage parking for motorcycles and bicycles. The room was cozy and, despite facing the street, very quiet. The bathroom was tidy and everything was spotlessly clean. I also had the pleasure of trying their simple yet delicious cuisine. The crostoni were excellent, and the tripe, made according to grandma's recipe, was fantastic, all washed down with a nice glass of Montalcino red. The breakfast, with both sweet and savory options, was also excellent. What more can I say? If I were to pass through the area again, I would definitely stay here. Excellent value for money. Best wishes to the owner, a motorcyclist whose name I don't remember, for her trip to Mont Saint Michel, although given the weather, I'd recommend postponing your stay.

12/10/2025: Everything was perfect, the room was perhaps a little dark with artificial lighting (the bedroom), the bathroom was fine. Everything you need was there, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the garage was closed for motorcyclists. The dinner was perfect... the chatter at the bar and the selection of whiskeys and rums were top-notch. The owner is a woman to be admired.

02/11/2025: What a great choice, Ristorante Italia! The food is wonderful! We had the amazing pici cacio & pepe, the very tender veal loin, and the delicious gnocchi with gorgonzola, cavolo nero, and walnuts! Congratulations!!!

07/11/2025: Between 4.1 and 4.5 stars for the presentation of the dishes observed on other diners' tables. Furthermore, the plates arrived in the waiter's hands practically empty. We ordered a cheese board, as pictured, which came with honey and caramelized onion to create the delicious contrast that honey provides with pecorino, for example. I also requested some nuts separately, which I felt were necessary on the board, and they happily provided them. However, I did miss having some kind of sauce or red fruit jam. The wine here in Tuscany never disappoints, and while Chianti is the classic choice, here the white wines, especially those from the Vernaccia grape in San Gimignano, are a delight. At Mandragola, they have a wide variety, not only from San Gimignano but from all over Tuscany. Their staff is knowledgeable about the local products, which makes the wine pairing experience even better. They have excellent local products for dressings and the atmosphere is very welcoming, making you feel like you're in the dining room of a typical Tuscan house.

05/11/2025: Great experience! Super fast service even when the place was full, and delicious food. We had pappardelle with wild boar ragù and a selection of pecorino cheeses with pears and a sauce. The vegetable of the day: chicory, was our side dish. Everything was excellent! We didn't need to book, and they seated us right away. The waiter was very kind. :)
