04/01/2026: Stop for lunch at this super little place! Delicious schiacciata, nice and crispy, hot, and made with excellent ingredients. The waiters were super fast, knowledgeable, kind, and smiling! We were able to eat inside, but if you prefer, you can easily eat while strolling through the central streets of San Gimignano. The restaurant overlooks the main square.

03/01/2026: Excellent sandwiches with traditional, top-quality ingredients, freshly prepared. The staff is incredibly calm and relaxed, organized, and fast. A small, informal, and traditional place.

13/02/2026: We came here on business, and someone recommended this place, so we ordered two cuts of beef. They were served barely warm, and we immediately let the staff know. They kindly took them back to the kitchen, and after a few minutes, they returned them to us untouched.

21/02/2026: Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because, despite Google listing opening hours as 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, we went in to ask if there was room around 3:00 PM, and a "very kind" man behind the counter, with a frivolous and ridiculous irony, pointed out the "closed" sign on the door to the delicatessen (there's a second door for the osteria). He must have had a stressful day to be so condescending to two guests who (possibly) would have been interested in spending money at his restaurant. In any case, the exterior (the only thing we were able to see, unfortunately) is quite distinctive. First of all, I'd like to thank the aforementioned gentleman, because thanks to his rudeness, we found a wonderful place.

It's a busy area, so it's not the right place for those seeking tranquility. The food is very good and excellent value. The menu varies based on the season and the availability of fresh ingredients. Excellent service (with room for improvement due to the young staff; there's always time), a great atmosphere, and a wide selection of wines. Thank you.

07/02/2026: We had the opportunity to try their cuisine last week during an evening stroll through the city center. I wasn't familiar with the place, but what I saw behind the glass caught my attention. I have to honestly say that eating badly in Tuscany is truly difficult. I'm sorry, but I haven't found anything here worth returning for. I ordered bruschetta to start, but when it arrived, it was bland and tasteless. I wasn't even convinced by the idea of ​​blending/homogenizing the three toppings on top to a near-velvet level. Plus, my idea of ​​bruschetta is different. The bread here was freshly reheated. I repeat, I wasn't thrilled. Next came the two different first courses. In both, we didn't appreciate the sauces, which, though plentiful, were very spicy (too much rosemary) but lacked connection with the pasta, perhaps having been quickly stirred in the pan or perhaps not having used the starchy cooking water needed to bind the sauce to the pasta. The restaurant, however, is quaint and charming.

24/01/2026: Stopped in here after our other plans for dinner fell through. So glad we did. The food was delicious and the polenta with sausage antipasti was so flavorful. I could have ordered 4 more and been so happy. The wild boar and chickpeas was yummy and flavorful and the two pasta my friends got were incredible looking and tasting. The music maybe could have been turned up a little but otherwise it was great!

04/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. Typical Tuscan cuisine with unique flavors. The menu isn't extensive, but every option is perfectly executed. We started with a local antipasto that pleasantly surprised us with its intense yet fresh flavors. For our main courses, we ordered roast pork neck with red pepper and house-baked potatoes (a dish that seems simple but will be etched in my memory because of how delicious it was) and pappardelle with wild boar (very flavorful and not at all heavy). To finish, we ordered cantucci with Vino Santo, which did not disappoint. They have many local wine options and six house wines served in different sizes. In our case, we chose one from the Montalcino region, which improved as the meal progressed (a more than acceptable wine for €7 for half a liter). A place I would definitely return to if I were to visit Siena again.

26/10/2025: A tiny wine bar restaurant. We landed here next to our apartment without knowing it, and what a great find! The welcome was very pleasant, the dishes were well explained, and everything was delicious. The bill was very reasonable at the exit, too! I recommend it. Special mention for the pappa al pomodoro: to die for!!!

31/03/2026: Excellent quality food, fast service and young but professional and kind guys

30/03/2026: The service was very spartan: the main course arrived before the pasta, the salad dressing was in a sachet, there was no salt, all the dishes were reheated, probably leftovers from the day before, the wine arrived already opened, only plastic cups and cutlery. For two, almost €50.00 without dessert or coffee. What can I say? "A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE."

01/02/2026: We went for lunch at the end of August and were seated at a table in the sun. There were free tables in the shade, and we asked to move, but they told us we could only sit at that table. The waiter told his colleague that we should stay in the sun so we could eat quickly and leave sooner. It was obvious he didn't want to work and didn't want to serve any customers. We got up and left without ordering. We did him a favor.
