Rustic atmosphere, good food It's a shame that there isn't an à la carte menu, it's said verbally and so you'll find the surprise at the checkout and on the receipt there isn't a detail of the costs... but a total!

But how can I talk about a place that for me is a true icon of the Tuscan province. Known to me in the early 70s when it was an old grocery store with old shelves for products from times gone by. The owners were characters in the sense that they interpreted the tradition as it is now interpreted by Sandro, from the same family, who successfully proposed himself as an innkeeper in Il Braccio, on the Cassia on the outskirts of Siena. The food? I ate an amazing bean soup. Tongue in green sauce while platters of steaming, delicious-smelling roast passed by. Go there.

Locale storico alle porte di Siena, prima era in alimentari trasformato poi in osteria Arredo classico, servizio top e fiorentina buonissima Super consigliato!!

Abbiamo mangiato i ravioli con olio nuovo e pecorino super buoni, di secondo la fiorentina alla brace ancora più buona. Da ritornarci, il personale super veloce e attento.

23/03/2024: Restaurant found by chance very close to the Duomo and a few steps from Piazza del Campo. Excellent quality food, very kind staff and a very nice place. The desserts are definitely a gem and they really impressed us. Fair prices in line for staying in the center of Siena. I highly recommend.

06/04/2024: We were there for lunch. We ate well and paid the right price. Too bad the long wait after ordering... Which is never easy to manage with children.
