18/08/2025: Unfortunately I have to remove some stars. And it's not about the quality of the food but inconsistency. Today, Saturday at 9.50pm, I was about to go in to buy a few slices of pizza and oh well... a bad surprise, the door was closed. The times displayed make it clear that on Saturdays and Sundays it closes at 11pm. I call and they tell me they are closed. Coherence is lacking. The pizza was really good. The one with courgette flowers enchanted me. Service as always impeccable. You can buy pizza either by the slice or whole. Well done. They have improved. Advise .

01/12/2025: Perfect location, wonderful, meticulously maintained. Delicious food! Carefully prepared aperitifs and truly "well-crafted" drinks. A splendid location for weddings and any type of private party!

13/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. Let's start with the service, which wasn't bad but not quite up to par. The waiter, probably a novice, first forgot to bring water, which was requested a second time after a few minutes of waiting. Then, when the appetizers arrived, he hadn't cleared the bread plates, and we were the ones who had to put them aside and hold onto them until the main course. Considering the €3.50 cover charge, I expected a little more attentive service. Appetizers: We had the same appetizer, porcini mushrooms. It was good but too sweet and sour, a characteristic that recurs in several dishes (too much for me). Main course: I had the chicken with ricotta and sweet potatoes, while my boyfriend had the onion stuffed with Taleggio cheese. We both didn't enjoy these dishes very much. The side dish, the same for both main courses, was sweet potatoes, decidedly soggy and super greasy. I left them on my plate. The chicken piece, given the price, was honestly too small, but the flavor was good and delicate, along with the creamy base. Regarding my boyfriend's second course, the stuffed onion, honestly, the price didn't match the dish either: simple, unpretentious ingredients for a price that was too high. The flavor wasn't pleasant, especially on the outside of the onion. The desserts were good. If we hadn't had the 30% discount from The Fork, the total price would have been much higher than we paid, about €60 per person, which, to be honest, is a bit too much for what we ate and the service provided.

12/10/2025: The food was very good; we had two appetizers (two tartares) and two first courses. The service was excellent; the waiter was always professional, kind, and helpful. It was a bit hot, unfortunately. Overall, we had a great time.

26/08/2025: Delicious! We enjoyed creamed cod on black polenta with marinated onions, tagliatelle with octopus ragù, anchovies, and fried flowers with a spicy sauce that paired perfectly. The desserts were not only delicious but also beautiful. Everything was cooked with care and attention, presented with meticulous attention, and enriched with a touch of creativity that surprises without ever being overwhelming. A special mention for the hospitality of the owner and chef: with his smile and kindness, he immediately makes you feel at home in his restaurant. (The photos are just of the desserts... I got distracted eating without wasting time 😅). Bravo, Hiron! 👏 We'll definitely be back.

30/09/2025: A fantastic coffee roastery that you can even enter. You can even get a delicious, top-notch espresso. Very high quality, and you can also buy some. Very nice, friendly, and welcoming employees in a very pleasant atmosphere. Thanks for the great tasting.

14/07/2025: This is a small, atmospheric place where you can see the coffee roasting process firsthand. You can also buy both whole bean coffee (three varieties, packaged on-site) and loose coffee (ground on-site). The "ladies" also offer espresso. The staff speaks only Italian, but they are so friendly and polite that communication is easy. The coffee is cheaper than in a store. I recommend it 100%.

29/06/2025: I had the kebab wrap and it was delicious. The vegetables were really fresh and everything tasted great.

03/12/2025: What a wonderful place to find with the friendliest people and plenty of gluten-free and vegan options. Definitely a most go especially if you want organic food.

30/11/2025: Food great. Staff superb, administrator was very attentive to all requests, served our and other three tables. My daughter vegetarian keeps saying it was the best meal in whole trip around Italy. Seemed a big challenge to find something that awesome in all-about-t-bone-steak and all-kinds-of-touristic-crap Florence. But we were extremely glad we did. Personally, focaccia is the top choice. Risotto and eggs could be more flavoured, but those are taste differences. Amazing value for money. We are coming back

15/10/2025: Excellent experience here. Food was excellent and the service was above and beyond from Aldo, Ambra, and Maicol. Had great conversation with them and made some great friends! Also did a cooking class while at the resort - was a once in a lifetime experience with Carmelo and Ambra. Absolutely recommend!

13/11/2025: On my graduation, without a reservation, they welcomed us and treated us wonderfully. We had a delicious aperitivo with pizza, schiacciata with mortadella, panzerotti, and more. There was everything and more. The cocktails were delicious, and they treated me truly wonderfully. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much.

01/10/2025: A nice little bar outside the center of Florence. Great for a quick lunch (salads, pasta, burgers) at a reasonable price without sacrificing quality ingredients.

17/06/2025: Excellent pastry shop. For my 25th wedding anniversary I was recommended the mille foglie with chocolate chips by a very kind and beautiful lady. I will definitely be back..

12/06/2025: Small but cozy pastry shop, the girl at the counter is very kind and attentive. We ordered a birthday tart here: crumbly pastry, delicate and light chantilly cream and abundant and very fresh berries. We will definitely rely on them in the future! Breakfasts are also excellent, very good coffee :)

06/10/2025: Elvis very nice stratospheric sandwich one of the best eaten in Florence I recommend reaching it on foot the area is very busy but it's worth it highly recommended

17/11/2025: The restaurant is a bit dated but tidy and clean, and the staff are very friendly. The food is exceptional, the pasta is homemade, everything is good, and the prices are fair. Recommended.

15/10/2025: I really enjoyed our visit, it is a fully vegan establishment and, although I'm not vegan myself, I was happy to 'give it a go', the food was really interesting and the service very pleasant. This would be to perfect quiet retreat for a young vegan couple. I definitely recommend it, I felt comfortable and relaxed here, it is very laid back and welcoming. That goes for Certaldo Alto and the Tuscany region of Italy in general to, though ☺️

18/09/2025: The location is fantastic, with a spectacular view, the food is delicious and every little detail is taken care of, as is everything else. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about everything. It was a wonderful experience discovering new flavors.
