03/06/2025: Location bellissima, un luogo incantevole, tranquillo, sembra di entrare in un piccolo mondo incantato. Ristorante da encomio a mio parere. Cibo ottimo, senza troppo pretese ma ben fatto e con prezzi assolutamente adeguati (in altre città a quei prezzi si ha accesso a qualità nettamente inferiori). Vino una garanzia, ma d’altronde non ci si può aspettare nulla di meno da una cantina storica come questa. Personale educato, preparato, accogliente ma discreto. Menzione particolare meritano le stoviglie che sono forse l’espressione un po’ più visibile da fuori della cura che la proprietà ha deciso di dare a questo ristorante. Io mi sono innamorata di questo luogo, ci tornerò e spero proprio di amarlo anche di più la prossima volta. Bravi davvero e un grande grazie! (Come mi piace fare queste recensioni! 25/05/2025: Si nota l’impegno nel voler proporre piatti innovativi ed abbinamenti di sapori eclettici, i risultati però non sono sempre soddisfacenti. Porzioni minime, esaurite in un solo boccone (livello tapas) con prezzi da stellato! Ambiente piacevole, servizio gradevole. Non credo che ci tornerò… peccato!!!

24/05/2025: Incredibly poor experience. Such high reviews, so difficult to get a reservation. I’ve loved in Florence for three years and finally went. The arrival gives you the sense of being hearded like cattle. Order appetizer and main course and bottle of wine and water for the table. The water was served within 5min, the wine arrived after 10min, and I mentioned to the waiter that the bread service had not arrived. He left the unopened bottle of wine on the table and disappeared for about 5 minutes. He came back with a bread basket and then opened the wine. I tasted it and mentioned it needed to air out and he immediately served the wine in an aerator. That was probably the only good point of service. The appetizer l, pecorino with apples and honey, was delivers about ten minutes later, and it was good, not remarkable but good. The main dish, Tagliata with patate, and mushrooms when I asked for no mushrooms. The waiter offered to take it to the kitchen to remove them, to which I responded it’s ok I’ll pick them out. The shock came when I ate the first piece and it was cold. Cold. The potatoes were also cold. My friend ordered the same dish and hers was also cold. Our steaks were also remarkably different portions. The picture I save is of my dish, unfortunate I didn’t get one of hers. We called the waiter and said it was cold and he apologized and said he’s asked to have it redone. He handed the plates to a coworker and that coworker came back in about 5 minutes with our same plates and said here you go it’s freshly made. I could still see the missing piece of the one I cut. The arugula bed that the steak was served one as wilted. Clearly this was not a fresh dish. They microwaved it. We told the waiter and he said, no , no it’s freshly made. I said we would pay for what we consumed and would leave. He apologies and instructed to go to the register to pay when we were ready. We left immediately, left the bottle of wine, glasses full and walked to the register. They charged us full price for the bottle, the appetizer and a full cover charge of ten euro, and were offended that we were leaving. Shocking experience in the land of great food. The people in the table next to us, had to send Mack their French fries from the fish dish she ordered. They brought back over cooked fires. Probably microwaved also. Shocking to see they have Michelin stickers in their window. Must be photoshopped or old and they must have e lost all their accolades long ago or are due to lose it. Shockingly poor service and food.

24/05/2025: Buca Mario was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere, service, and food were awesome. We were greeted at the door, Acknowledging my birthday. They sang birthday to me, lit a candle on top of a huge fake birthday cake, then allowed me to choose desert of my choice for my birthday. Our servant was the best.

08/06/2025: An authentic Florentine experience in the heart of the city We were pleasantly surprised by this place: despite being right in the center, it maintains an authentic Florentine soul, far from tourist clichés. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service impeccable: attentive, professional but never intrusive. We really felt at home, pampered from the first to the last minute. The staff was smiling, friendly and cordial. We ate very well - traditional dishes, well-prepared and tasty - and we were treated with rare kindness. We don't even know exactly how much we spent, because the bill arrived as a natural conclusion to a perfect evening. Highly recommended! We will definitely return and will happily recommend it. A beautiful experience. Thank you so much!

30/05/2025: Esperienza piacevolissima! Abbiamo mangiato in terrazza dove ci siamo goduti anche una bella vista sulla campagna del Chianti. Locale molto accogliente e curato, pizza molto buona ed il personale é stato gentile e attento. Da ripetere!

20/05/2025: I dont know why google recomend this as a cafe place to drink. It is a packing place for Manaresi Coffee. When we arrive the staff didnt speak english but they are very kind to let us in and they gave us a cup of espresso free of charge. They also confuse that the place is not for coffee place to sit and have a drink.

24/04/2025: We went to the Manaresi factory in Florence to buy the coffee directly on site. It wasn't possible to communicate in English, but thanks to Google Translate, the friendly ladies knew immediately what I wanted. I ended up taking four packs of coffee with me - the gold one for €15 per kilo and the red one for €13 per kilo. What was particularly nice was that we were also offered coffee and pastries - both were extremely tasty. It was a very pleasant and warm experience that we can only recommend!

29/12/2024: Cozy restaurant even if it has a bit of mold and dust. They do not serve the typical first courses of the area, which is serious. Furthermore, the waitress did not tell us all the dishes of the day, adding them only when we reached the dessert.

28/04/2025: Mi dispiace molto fare una recensione negativa, ma purtroppo la mia esperienza non ha niente di positivo. Impasto della pizza cingommoso di scarsissima qualità per non parlare dei dolci disgustosi, non abbiamo detto niente, ma uno aveva un aspetto e odore brutto sembrava avariato! Lo abbiamo lasciato lì! L'unica cosa positiva è l'ambiente carino, è un vero peccato!

04/05/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, among the Chianti hills. Impeccable service, lovely environment with lots of references to cats. Excellent dishes, I don't give my best only for the temperature of the cut which was not optimal but in a mixed grill it can happen. Excellent wine map!
