A wonderful find outside the main tourist throngs in Florence. My wife and I found this restaurant, near our hotel, and had a terrific late lunch. Key is that this is a neighborhood restaurant not aimed at tourists and it shows. We were hosted by a woman who i believe is the owner and she graciously served us even though it was nearing the afternoon close. If ever back in Florence I'd definitely seek out the restaurant again.

We ate a late lunch here on a rainy May afternoon in May 2026. The place is cozy and the staff/owner welcoming. Our meal was relaxed and the food excellent. I had the chicken with green peppercorns and it was fresh and very tasty. We had wine with our meal and overall we had a very positive experience. The portions were smallish, but adequate and we both felt satisfied after our meal.

Small restaurant in the center of Florence, with only a few dishes (that wouldn't be a negative). The ground floor location is a standard one. People speak highly of the basement one, but we didn't see it, so I don't know. I should point out that I'm not used to frequenting restaurants in the center of Florence, so my opinion may be biased. Not much to say about the quality of the food... Good, refined, and unique (though, personally, dishes described in more than six words don't inspire me). The three stars are mainly due to the service (very slow, despite it being a weekday and with few customers), but above all to the QUANTITY. The prices are displayed, so I usually don't comment... but for those prices, I expected adequate quantities. Spending almost 40 euros per person (with The Fork) and leaving hungry wasn't a pleasant experience. Again, maybe this is normal in the center of Florence, but it's not normal for me. Otherwise, everything was fine, good food, nice waiters and everything, but I wouldn't go back.

A very refined restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The dishes we ordered were simply amazing! The lady who served us was extremely kind and courteous, which, combined with the excellent food and lovely atmosphere, made everything impeccable. The cuisine was sublime; we fell in love with the first course of tagliolini with lemon and anchovy sauce. Many compliments to the chef! For our second course, we decided to share a tagliata, and it was served to us, divided and beautifully plated. The desserts were also excellent. Highly recommended if you want to eat well in the center of Florence.

We were greeted with great courtesy, and the dishes arrived promptly. The appetizers were very refined and delicious, and the first courses... a true symphony of flavors, especially the tagliolini with anchovy sauce (a very strong lemon flavor), and homemade pasta. We highly recommend it!
