70s atmosphere, clean and welcoming, as are the staff.
A historic restaurant where I've celebrated various anniversaries over the years, it still maintains its original atmosphere. For lunch on Saturday, we enjoyed half a spit-roasted chicken and a mixed roast (the liver and roulade were excellent), accompanied by a plate of fried artichokes (special!), while our son enjoyed pappardelle with hare sauce. To finish, we had mascarpone cream with lingue di gatto (cat's tongues) and zuccotto (both delicious). The restaurant is simple but welcoming; the waiters are friendly; the only complaint is that the wait times are a bit long, which is justified by the fact that the meat is cooked to order (but perhaps the fact of serving takeout customers also plays a role). The prices are excellent, especially for those accustomed to Florence! Reservations are highly recommended on weekends.

Always a sure thing!
They offer authentic Tuscan cuisine, including excellent roasts and all meats cooked in the large fireplace, a timeless setting that's always a pleasure to be around.

Excellent traditional Tuscan dishes, served with kindness and punctuality. The ambiance is very refined, with a 1970s-style feel. I also appreciated the low noise level, making for pleasant conversation. The portions and portion/price ratio are very good. I highly recommend it, also available for takeout.

A restaurant stuck in the '70s, a refresh wouldn't hurt. The ravioli with sauce were excellent, but the famous roast beef was mediocre—too dry/diet-friendly for my taste. A real roast beef should definitely be greasier/cheesier and with more varied cuts of meat. Furthermore, it's inconceivable that they were out of roast potatoes; it's like a seafood restaurant telling you they're out of spaghetti allo scoglio. I'm sorry, but there are definitely better places to eat roast beef. Prices aren't exactly cheap.

Very kind staff and an excellent dinner. We had chicken, rosticciana, and Fiorentina steak, all delicious. We absolutely must return to try the roast, the famous potato balls, and...while we're here, another Fiorentina steak. Highly recommended, especially for the price, which is absolutely fair.
