12/10/2025: The pasta was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Just arrived in Florence and looking for a cheap meal. Stumbled upon PaStation and had a Capriciosa Pinsa. It was absolutely delicious with heaps of topping, more olives than I’ve had on any pizza. The staff whilst busy busy were very helpful and very nice. This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

10/07/2025: This year, they're offering a "Summer Special: Aperitif and Spritz for €15"—you can see the platter in the photo; it's huge and packed with delicious treats! MUST TRY! It's billed as a "cocktail bar," and it truly is... very unique cocktails, very good, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We had an aperitif, which was delicious. I recommend the meatballs and the beef cheesecake (it's a tartare). The place was so cute we couldn't leave; when we left, we bought some coasters; they were really cute. Highly recommended, especially for an aperitif with friends. P.S.: They also offer gluten-free food (which is no small detail).

15/08/2025: We had the Frittura alla Marina di Grassina (squid, shrimp, and vegetables in tempura batter) and it was delicious! We've been thinking about it all week. You sit outside in a cozy little garden that's accessible from inside; you'd never expect that from the outside. The service is excellent and the food fantastic. Unfortunately, we had to leave quickly, but I'll definitely be back!

08/08/2025: We had a super fresh tuna tartare to start, followed by two pastas: the lemon cream shrimp tagliatelle was outstanding, while the tomato spaghetti was a bit too oily but still tasty. The tomatoes in all dishes were excellent. Dessert was a tiramisu served in a cute plant pot—great presentation and deliciously fluffy. Only downside: the portions were quite large, making it hard to finish everything. A smaller main option would be great. Also, the table bread was hard and a bit watery. We will remeber this place and in the future if we are near we won't hesitste to stop by.

14/10/2025: ✨ Al Tranvai – A Hidden Gem in Florence We first discovered Al Tranvai completely by accident during our first visit to Florence. We had planned to dine at a nearby restaurant that turned out to have an impossibly long wait, and my husband — taking charge of his wife’s hanger emergency — stumbled into Al Tranvai instead. The restaurant was cozy and bustling, but managed to seat us without too much of a wait. We sat outside, close to neighboring tables filled mostly with locals. Two Italian gentlemen at the next table struck up a conversation with us, and we soon learned that one of them was a chef at another nearby restaurant. That was our first clue that we had landed somewhere special. They were so gracious, helping us navigate the handwritten Italian menu and even sharing some of their dishes with us. We bravely sampled a local specialty — kidneys — not quite to our taste, but when in Rome (or Florence!), right? My husband and I shared a few Tuscan classics: ribollita (a hearty white bean and bread soup with vegetables), arrabbiata linguine, and peposo, a slow-braised beef with black pepper and red wine. Each dish was simple yet full of soul — proof that great food doesn’t need to be complicated. We decided to secretly pay for our new friends’ meal along with ours. When they found out, they surprised us in return with a bottle of their favorite wine to take home — a gesture we’ll never forget. It was a truly magical evening. A year later, we were lucky enough to return to Florence. I chose Al Tranvai as the place to meet my Italian cousin for the very first time. The restaurant was just as warm and charming as we remembered, and the meal just as wonderful. I hope we can keep coming back to recreate the incredible memories we’ve made here.

15/10/2025: For four people, the bill was extremely high for the quality and quantity of food served. The wine was mediocre to say the least. Service was superficial and absent. The steak was very fatty, poorly presented, and the place was small, rather shabby, with uncomfortable seating and noisy. A forgettable trattoria with Michelin-starred prices.

12/10/2025: Very expensive for what it offers for 4 people for 2 starters, 4 first courses, a steak and a bottle of Chianti red wine €60 per person

28/09/2025: I had the opportunity to dine here for my brother's wedding. The place is very welcoming, well-maintained, and well-organized. The owner is very warm, and the waiters are kind and patient, even when the room was chaotic. The service was quick and the food was delicious. My compliments to the staff for their excellent work. I hope to return soon!

08/10/2025: A modern inn run by young, attentive staff. I ate excellent Milanese risotto and equally delicious mondeghili. I recommend making a reservation.

23/09/2025: A cosy Italian restaurant with plenty of charm and flair. The vegetarian options are highly recommended. I'd happily come back again!

26/09/2025: Spent two days in Gambassi Terme and had two delicious meals there. A lovely, atmospheric restaurant with a fantastic chef and pizza maker. We didn't make reservations either time, but luckily we were able to find a table. Both times, it was busy with both locals and tourists. Perhaps there could have been a few more waiters, but the wait wasn't unpleasant and wasn't too long. The menu is delicious and diverse, and definitely not expensive.

23/09/2025: A prime example of a restaurant seemingly ruined by its own success... on a weekday evening, the owner was serving with just one other person, but he let the place fill up completely. The result: angry customers who had to wait too long for their food, dissatisfied customers because the food wasn't good, customers who walked away laughing because they thought it was a joke, and a grumpy owner who couldn't devote any time or attention to his customers. The food is okay. The wild boar sauce was incredibly salty. The location is nice, and the seating is beautiful and relaxing.

20/10/2025: Such a unique and eclectic bar! The bartender is a master of his craft, and I thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail! It was an amazing experience from the drink to the vibe! The price for the cocktail was also incredibly fair. I can’t wait to go again.

28/09/2025: I was invited to an aperitif to celebrate two 60th birthdays at a stunning and well-maintained villa. The buffet included tasty appetizers, excellent cold cuts, excellent cheeses, and fried vegetables... delicate and flavorful risotto with sausage and robiola cheese, all accompanied by a selection of delicious cocktails and sparkling wine... what can I say? I'll definitely be back for dinner.

05/10/2025: Small restaurant with incredibly fresh, beautifully cooked fish. The staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous. The menu and wine list are amazing. A must-visit when I travel to Mugello for work.

18/06/2025: Exceptional experience at Angelo and Andrea. It is one of the few restaurants where everything is superb from the appetizers, especially the raw ones, to the first courses, special mention for the spaghettoni with clams, to the desserts with the Catalan cream and the super zuppa inglese. For the second courses..... we threw in the towel.... we will return.

26/08/2025: A kiosk that continues the famous Florentine tradition of the lampredotto sandwich (though the tripe salad is also excellent). The atmosphere is friendly and informal, making it a great place to fill up and enjoy a true Florentine experience at a very reasonable price.

26/10/2025: You eat very well at modest prices... very professional from the waiter to the managers, I RECOMMEND ps. in two evenings I ate, appetizer, and ribollita, and then pizza (spectacular)
