Generally avoid so-called Irish pubs in tourist towns like the plague, but this one is exceptional. Brilliant staff, very wide range of beers, nice food, good music. Highly recommended.

My first pub since way back in 2005, or rather, the first time I set foot in a pub. Incredible beers, excellent food, perhaps because I love fried food. Excellent for lunch and dinner, which is much better than many restaurants. Depending on the day, it can be crowded; we don't recommend coming on Fridays and Saturdays when it's a busy day.
