11/10/2025: We came for breakfast, and it was very good. If you're looking for a hotel breakfast at a reasonable price, this is the place.

19/10/2025: Beautifully decorated shop, with friendly service from the owner. We enjoyed the appetizer and pasta very much. Unfortunately, the heavy porcelain plates weren't preheated, and the food arrived relatively cold at the table. The same goes for the espresso cups, but the espresso itself isn't recommended either. Unusual for Italy, it's simply watery and lacks crema. This also unfortunately spoils the tiramisu, which presumably used the same espresso.

16/10/2025: Do not hesitate. Book the reservation. We are at two Michelin restaurants on our trip and B.O.r.G.O. Was better than everything else we had. Gabriele was a fantastic host and chef. I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know going to Florence.

10/11/2025: A very welcoming, clean atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and if you want to eat quality meat and aren't sure what wine to pair with it, this is the place for you. Quality comes at a price, but the prices are in line with the quality and the type of restaurant. I recommend all the appetizers and, of course, the meat.

04/11/2025: If you're going for the lunch menu, you get an absolutely incredible price to quality ratio. The flavours were fantastic, the house / lunch-time red was good; I thought it should have been packed to the rafters but there were just a couple of groups in.

04/11/2025: This place was a revelation! Seasonal dishes, made with quality ingredients, unique yet still steeped in traditional flavors. Impeccable service made the experience more than enjoyable. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

14/11/2025: The service was genuinely good, and the atmosphere was more quaint, giving it a charming feel that makes it a pleasant place to stop in. However, the food left a little to be desired. It felt more like average bar food you’d find in the U.S. rather than the fresh, vibrant dishes you typically expect in Italy. Not a bad experience overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement on the culinary side.

22/10/2025: It is a small place which is like a bar and sandwich/small food place. We had their sandwiches and some drinks. The service was fast and the sandwiches were very good. I had the vegetarian caprese sandwich and it was quite good.

26/10/2025: We ate lunch today. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. The waitress who ran the dining room was very nice and professional. Excellent food. We had two appetizers and two very good main courses. A pleasant surprise. I live in the area but I didn't know about it.

21/09/2025: Very happy with our stay. Close to Florence and local restaurants. Dinner at the hotel was great as was the service. Could WhatsApp reception and they would bring bottles / drinks quickly to the pool. Would recommend.

22/11/2025: Absolutely amazing food and drink. Got the oysters, seafood carpaccio, and the squid ink amatriciana. Delicious across the board. Joanna (sp?) was nothing short of delightful, and I cannot wait to pay them a visit again.

22/11/2025: I had dinner at the Varadero restaurant. The food was excellent, the price was fair, and the staff was friendly and professional. My only complaint is that, while tastefully decorated and clean, the space is a bit small for the number of tables inside. Highly recommended!

19/11/2025: I finally tried this gem. What can I say? A very intimate and refined place. Amazing cocktails (I tried three, and the menu is an experience). The guys were super friendly. The icing on the cake was the impromptu music evening! Simply fantastic ❤️

15/11/2025: We went for Halloween, and the atmosphere was great, with a live band. The drinks were also very good, and the menu was interesting. I recommend making a reservation in advance!

30/09/2025: A simple but welcoming place where they make excellent fresh pasta with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely be back. Recommended. Ample parking is available 4 minutes away if you're not nearby.

26/10/2025: A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, exquisite food. We ordered lasagna and Buenos Aires salad. Both dishes were excellent. A glass of Malbec wine was one of the best wines I've tasted since living in Europe (the Malbec was Argentine, perhaps Mendoza). I would have drunk the whole bottle, but it wasn't the right time. Unfortunately, I didn't eat the steak, which is surely the best thing on the menu and I have no doubt it's also the best meat you'll likely eat in Florence, since they grill Argentine Angus. Everything at that dinner was perfect: the service, the palate, and the atmosphere. Applause to the chef and eternal thanks to the waiter, who was a sweetheart. Keep it up, you make people happy... and of course, THE MALVINAS ARE ARGENTINE!!!

12/11/2025: After eating Italian food for a few days, we felt like switching things up and went out for Indian food last night. We checked Google and found Taj Palace, which was close to our hotel, so we walked over. The place has a warm look with paintings of Indian dance forms and a few musical instruments on display. The overall feel was great. We looked through the menu and were about to choose a few dishes when one of the staff suggested one of their popular items. Here’s what we ended up ordering with our ratings: Kadhai Chicken 4/5 Garlic Naan 5/5 Kheer 4/5 The Kadhai chicken was a little spicy for us but we still liked it. The food in general was good. It took some time for the dishes to arrive because the place was busy, but the staff were friendly and attentive. The service was good.
