Average food for very much city centre prices. The bread they served was very sad. It's ok when you can't find a place for lunch but we won't come back.

Osteria 1 rosso is truly a gem just a few steps from the Santa Maria Novella square. Go down the stairs and find yourself immersed in a welcoming environment with stone walls. The outside terrace is also beautiful. Excellent cuisine, excellent service.

Very welcoming restaurant, my family went there and we ate a Tuscan starter for 4 followed by an excellent rare steak, cooked perfectly and very soft. Compliments

We had a great spaghetti and great pappardelle. One with mushrooms and the other one with tomatoes etcetera. The only downside was the first and second course setup. I prefer just one main course. And the toilet was a bit annoying.

We had the minestrone soup and caprese salad as appetizers…best ever! My rigatoni was outstanding with a bolognese sauce and my husband had the ravioli medallions which were filling and the best dish of all! We split a tiramisu which was creamy and delicious. Everything is fresh and made with such care. The place is cute, but the food is off the charts.
