Excellent food, kind and friendly staff, intimate and welcoming environment. I recommend it to everyone even just for an aperitif!

We found this place via smartbox and couldn't have made a better choice. Super intimate atmosphere, very kind owner. Note of merit for the tasting offered by the owner with crostoni, tartare, excellent wine and Tuscan cantucci. At the end of the dinner we also purchased a book. We will definitely be back :)

A me e mio marito hanno regalato un aperitivo alla Libreria Retrogusto. Sinceramente mi aspettavo le solite cose trite e ritrite per turisti. Invece sono felice di dire che mi ero proprio sbagliata! Ci è piaciuto tantissimo: il locale è piccino ma molto accogliente, il cibo, i vini affatto banali, il rum strepitoso e il servizio davvero top! Cantuccini al profumo di arancia fatti in casa dalla proprietaria del locale, WOW. Persino la musica ci è piaciuta ... Mark Ronson featured, e via così... Ci torneremo sicuramente, BRAVI!

A small wine shop inside Porta San Frediano, managed in an exemplary way by the owners. Intimate place with a good choice of glasses and good food, it is possible to read the books that frame the whole environment, in the background 80s music kept us company. Honest prices, excellent service, small place, very pleasant environment.

This place was recommended by a mutual contact who knew the owner Leonardo and oh boy, am I glad to have visited it! This is a very cute bar filled with interesting books, good drinks, and amazing music ( I loved every soundtrack that was played). Cozy and unique bars like Retrogusto are such a rarity. I tried the Hot Spritz and the Grappa and loved them both! Leonardo is a very warm and nice person and welcomes you with his Tuscan-style friendliness. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Florence and definitely checkout the book collection!

Locale intimo, che ti fa sentire a casa. Con la grande cortesia e passione che vengono trasmesse, è un vero piacere passarci il proprio tempo. Cibo e vini ottimi, fatti con amore e selezionati con cura.
