Terrific osteria in our neighborhood. I was really impressed with the service (Thanks Nicola) the space and above all the food and mostly local wine choices from Tuscany. We had the Chianti Superiore which paired perfectly with 2 pasta primi and a bistecca secondi. I recommend the pistacchio cheesecake for dessert. One of my favorite places in Florence.

The place is cute and welcoming, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Nicole was very friendly and extremely kind. Kudos to the chef, too; the pappardelle were delicious and the meat was very well cooked. I'll definitely be back.

I give it a 5-star rating for the warm and welcoming place. I went for dinner with my girlfriend and I can say I had a great time. Mario, the restaurant manager, is a fantastic and helpful person; he even called us a taxi because it was raining. Excellent value, definitely worth a try.

Excellent restaurant in the city center. Excellent food and impeccable service, especially Mario the waiter, who was also very good at carrying eight glasses at a time! Highly recommended!

Do not bother reading any of the other touristy lame-o reviews on here. This place is AMAZING! The pasta is phenomenal (like I cried a little with the first bite) Obviously don't order a bloody burger. You're in Florence. Do better. Mario is wonderful and very attentive and took great care of us.

Excellent food and excellent service. The place isn't particularly big, but it's cute! I recommend the Polish heifer Florentine steak, phenomenal. Special thanks to the waitress, Micol, who served us and was so patient in explaining the menu to us. Approved!

09/04/2026: Utterly impeccable. Far enough out to avoid mass tourism, close enough to walk. 1 of a kind pastries, the chocolate pistachio actually blew our mind!
25/03/2026: Caffè Lietta is a charming Italian café located right under the historic porticoes of Piazza della Libertà in Florence. It’s a lovely spot in a less tourist-packed northern part of the city center, ideal for people-watching on the sunny square with outdoor seating. No doubt it’s A beautiful coffee shop. They charge €1 as table fee. The cappuccino is the worst in Florence. The pastry is only okay. Go for the ambiance if not for the coffee and sweets.
