We ate at this restaurant because it was close to our campsite, and we had a great time! Extremely friendly staff, excellent meat, and reasonable prices. Recommended!

A classic Tuscan restaurant located in a stunning hillside location. The place needs a facelift, with the traditional owners still pushing their young staff. The food is good, and how good it is!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view, rustic place, but with a nice mise en place... we were there for a birthday with a set menu, the food wasn't excellent, just average.

A lovely place with traditional Tuscan cuisine. I tried the Tuscan tripe (off the menu) which was truly excellent, one of the best tripe I've ever eaten. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the place is close to The Mall, with ample parking. The staff is very friendly. If you're in the area, don't miss it.

Excellent restaurant in a beautiful hilltop location. The staff is professional and attentive to guests' needs, even the most difficult ones like allergies. We'll gladly return.

The olive oil and bread are good. I tasted all the food, it was excellent. Where is this olive oil sold? They even produce their own wine. I wonder if they also produce their own olive oil? It has a very clean atmosphere, the cheeses are excellent, and the honey that comes with it is so delicious.

06/06/2026: Excellent place, pleasant atmosphere, and simple yet efficient service. While my guests appreciated the choices, I was tempted by the cold and tasteless stuffed zucchini and the sautéed porcini mushrooms, without calamint, more boiled than sautéed, accompanied by two cherry tomato halves, which floated on the plate, making me wonder: what are we doing here? That said, Ruggero remains a point of reference for Tuscan cuisine, of which I've always enjoyed everything except the sautéed porcini mushrooms and the stuffed zucchini, alas. The house wine was excellent.
05/06/2026: A true old-fashioned trattoria. Well done!! You've maintained the style over time, as well as the traditional dishes. The crostini, Tuscan cured meats, fantastic carrettiera, and boiled meats just like my grandmother used to make them. Marta is a great waiter and speaks excellent English.

13/06/2026: Went here as a group of 2 and the owner was very friendly! The pappardelle beef ragu was divine, and the fried zucchini was surprisingly delicious. Would definitely come again
