I ordered boiled beef, Mapo tofu, and vegetables, and they were absolutely delicious! Better than some restaurants in China! And the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended!!

If you love Chinese food, please go here! The food is better than in the United States. Yup, you read what I typed. So delicious, tasty, and worth a try! It was such a good break from the usual carbs in Florence lol. I got the beef & broccoli with a pineapple fried rice. It’s enough for 2 people—but I wasn’t going to share so it’s definitely enough for one person 🤣. We loved this place so much, we came the following day to try their poke. Their portions—HUGE. I wish I could take this place back home!

In a Florence overrun with Airbnbs, steakhouses, and cooking classes, finding authentic places is increasingly difficult... but if you look carefully, a few gems still emerge. This is exactly one of those places. I don't even know its name—and perhaps that's its charm. It offers a 7-euro lunch menu: a first and second course of Chinese cuisine, simple, straightforward, and without too many frills. You sit down, eat, and leave: no frills. It's the classic spot that doesn't want to impress but rather work, and it does. It feeds you, you spend the right amount, and you leave satisfied, without thinking too much. Pierre degustateur approves, without asking too many questions.

08/07/2026: I went yesterday for dinner with my friends (12 of us). We had a great time. They seated us at two round tables with a rotating tray in the middle. The service was super polite and efficient. The food was delicious and authentic. I recommend the steamed dumplings, the "grandma's rice," and the wok dishes (fantastic)!

29/06/2026: unfortunately had to give the low rating, we were waited on by the cashier (in the picture) and we ordered a bottle of jasmine green tea, Lao Gan Ma fried rice and the fried pork dumplings, we asked for two extra forks and a cup. We made a face like as if asking for cutlery was something bizarre. Later when our pork dumplings were ready we asked for ONE pair of chopsticks cuz who eats dumplings with a fork, he snaps at my friend who asked for the chopsticks and he says “YOU ARE ASKING FOR TOO MUCH” like as if we were not paying customers just needing cutlery, mind you this is not silverware this is cheap plastic forks and paper cups, if you want to charge us for the extra??? who the hell are you to raise your voice at customers who just want a means to eat the food we ordered?? anyway food is an absolute smashing 10/10, we have no bad things to say.
26/06/2026: What a lovely find on Via dei Servi. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, and the food served in handy paper bowls was a pleasant surprise. We loved the ravioli, perfectly golden and accompanied by a truly delicious sauce. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommended for a quick but quality meal in the heart of Florence. We'll definitely be back.
