He assumed what I was ordering before I told him, so I ended up with the lampredotto sandwich (which was NOT what I had planned to order). The bun for the sandwich was nice - not too hard and had a nice bite and chew. However the tripe itself lacked flavour.

Convenient, right inside the station. €10-15 each. The panini is quite large, but there's not much vegetable, and it gets a bit greasy towards the end. It might be better for two people to share one.

I haven't tried it anywhere else so I can't compare, but the amount of offal is generous, there is no gamey smell, and it is tender. I asked for it spicy, and it has a slightly tingling sensation at the end? It is delicious.

This food stall is near the station, and I often eat lampredotto here when I have some time before my train. I like paninis too, of course, but as a drinker, I also like the basshetta style shown in the picture. It has more of a snack-like feel to it, and I've been hooked on this way of eating it lately. They also have beer and wine by the glass, so please enjoy it with your favorite drink!

06/05/2026: I loved it. As a tourist, it's sometimes hard to find a friendly smile and a welcoming atmosphere in big cities. Here, they did just that, and all it took was a quick coffee and a snack. The place is divine, without kitschy decor or a cheap tourist vibe; everything is in order and harmony. Three generations run this friendly and top-notch little shop. We'll be back. (Added later) We returned, and it was as good as we imagined. Homemade paninis, smiles, special attention to children and babies (not so common in traditional, stylish places), we enjoyed recommended wines, and a chocolate crunch dessert that made my mouth water. And if I told you we paid half of what you'd get ripped off at any tourist trap…you wouldn't believe it. DON'T MISS IT!!!
19/04/2026: We were recommended to stop here for lunch, by our guide. Lots of tasty options to eat and drink, well priced and handy for lunch.

26/04/2026: A truly delightful place!!! The owners are friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home!!! The food is excellent and plentiful, all surrounded by the splendid views of the Mugello! I highly recommend it!!!
