We loved this spot. Booked a reservation about 30 minutes prior and they had my name when we showed up. Great service better food and very friendly staff. We are tourists but were treated like locals. Get the gnudi and the Nona’s meatballs. Fantastic. Will be back. Amazing spot.

Do not think about coming here twice, absolutely amazing place.
We got the chicken liver, so tasty. For main, the meatballs in the lemon sauce were the best I have ever had. The simple spaghetti in tomato sauce is so hard to get right and it was perfect.
We had the house wine which was spectacular and for people that almost never have deserts- we got two. The tiramisu was to die for as was the chocolate tart.
We also saw other tables ordering the potatoes and fried vegetables they smelled and looked amazing.
The atmosphere is super cute and our waiter was the best!
Thank you so so much for this authentic, delicious food.

I went there on my first day in Florence.
I didn't have a reservation, but I was able to get in smoothly.
A Japanese female staff member served me various dishes. First, they brought out Florence's local dish, a rice porridge with tomatoes and bread, and I knew it would be delicious. The spaghetti calletiera was excellent, with a strong garlic and chili flavor. The pigeon risotto was also amazing. I heard that you normally can't get in without a reservation, so I'll make one next time.

It needs no introduction or reviews because the quality speaks for itself... anyway, an excellent restaurant where you can finally eat homemade pici, kindly changing the sauce on the fly (the carrettiera, a spectacle!), mountain chips cut into chips and fried... needless to say!
