Wonderful dinner and experience. The starter which was bean soup was delicious with a generous amount of olive oil. Wild boar pasta is al dante. Ravioli wad creamy and was served in huge quantities. Spicy beef stew was tasty.

Excellent Tuscan cuisine and friendliness... Like once upon a time!!! Experience to be repeated!!!

Sono stata a cena in questo delizioso ristorante ieri sera per la prima volta e sono rimasta assolutamente soddisfatta.Tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato era squisito,dai carciofi fritti ai primi fatti in casa,dalle polpettine alla torta di mele sublime.Ritengo che questo locale sia adatto a chi sa apprezzare veramente la qualità del cibo.Raro trovare a Firenze un ristorante così,purtroppo la maggior parte delle trattorie sono turistiche…Lo consiglio vivamente.

Cena in famiglia in questo ristorante che è annoverato tra i locali storici di Firenze. Clientela varia con personale gentile e cordiale. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene (crostini tipici, fegato, polpette della nonna) e terminato alla grande con dei dolci ottimi. Prezzo un po’ alto ma siamo comunque rimasti soddisfatti.

Overall the food is good, and the service friendly, in my personal opinion the prices are a little too high (it's called a trattoria), minimum cost for a first course is €20 (pasta alla carrettiera, in short pasta with sauce with garlic and chilli )

Dinner with colleagues on Saturday evening, reservation at 9.15pm. The (perhaps) owner's attitude was not very polite when we asked for the bill at 11pm (just half an hour after closing time, too late for him, he couldn't wait for us to leave, he implied it with a gesture as we were leaving) or when he without too much kindness asked a diner to "step further with his chair". On the other hand, the food was very good, albeit a little expensive, and the waitress was friendly and impeccable in her service. Recommended but if you want to spend an evening having dinner and having a chat it is better to book at 7pm so you can leave at 9pm.

Spaghetti alla carrettiera is the best. Tomato pasta with chili pepper and garlic. Although it was very simple, it was so delicious that I was impressed with every bite. Everything else on the menu was delicious, and I wanted to come back to Florence to try this restaurant. I thought that tomatoes would go well with the burrata cheese, but I was told that when tomatoes are not in season, they use a different ingredient, which made me realize how professional they were.

Historic restaurant practically in the center of Florence. Typical Tuscan cuisine from crostini to tripe from fried brains to black cabbage soup, with a very rich menu. Good and attentive service. Medium-high prices, generous portions, typical and well-kept environment. It's not the first time I've been there and it's always a pleasure to go back so I recommend it to everyone, tourists and Florentines

Se sei italiano e vuoi mangiare non turistico a Firenze, sei nel posto giusto! Dall’antipasto al dolce tutto 10 e lode!

La trattoria Armando offre un servizio davvero ottimo, cordialità e gentilezza sono un buon punto di partenza per iniziare bene una fantastica cena. La zuppa toscana al cavolo nero ricorda un sapore antico di valori che i nostri nonni ci hanno trasmesso.. che dire davvero favolosa. Veder passare i piatti di carne con una elegante presentazione ed un buonissimo profumo richiama l'acquolina in bocca.. sicuramente sapori squisiti . Terminare la cena con cantucci e vino Santo rende la serata ancora più dolce e davvero speciale . Locale piccolino, pulito e ben sistemato con tutti i ricordi dei personaggi famosi che sono passati da qua . I prezzi sono consoni al tipo di locale .. Locale consigliato per una cena romantica e sorseggiando un buon vino .. Che dire .. consigliato a tutti Ci tornerò .
