Ristorante Sichuan In Firenze

I visited on my first day in Florence and was so impressed by the shrimp fried rice that I came back the day before I left lol. I highly recommend the shrimp fried rice. The Mapo Tofu is also incredibly delicious!!! The sweet and sour pork tastes slightly different from what you get in Korea, but it's a bit less sour! The sweet and sour pork is super, super tasty too. On my second visit, I ordered the shrimp fried rice and beef noodle soup; the combination is insane. Make sure to order them together! It's beef noodle soup with a slight mala flavor. Cilantro comes in by default, so if you can't eat it, make sure to ask them to leave it out! I ended up picking it out myself 😂😂😂

As far as I can tell, it's authentic Chinese food. You're greeted warmly and served very fresh, delicious food. It's also worth visiting Chinatown in Florence.

The prices are cheap, the food comes out quickly, and I like that the menu isn't cheese or tomato-based. However, the Mapo Tofu recommended by Koreans was difficult to eat because it made my mouth burn. It wasn't spicy, but sour, and it left my tongue tingling. I don't know what kind of spice this is (is it mala?), but I ate two pieces that were about the size of a third of a clove of garlic and my mouth started watering uncontrollably. The basic flavor was fine, but because of this, I don't think it was an enjoyable meal. If you are a local or accustomed to spices like mala, I think you would definitely enjoy it.

The food was absolutely delicious and very authentic! I highly recommend it. The owner's service was also excellent.

This was my third Chinese meal during my two-night stay in Florence. I ordered spicy chicken (Laziji), but it was a little different from what I usually eat. The person next to me was eating bone-in Laziji, so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The fried noodles were delicious.

The beef noodle soup of my life... T_T It's so delicious... I even ordered the vegetable broth!! Hehehe. It's the best thing I ate in Rome and Florence... lol

The maocai (a type of Sichuan hot pot) I ordered was especially delicious!

It's really delicious........ The mala flavor isn't as strong as I expected, it's just tasty ㅠㅠ

Felt like having some spicy heart warming food rather than pasta/pizza. This place did impress! Really delicious, spiced up perfecto!! The problem was ordering food. I don’t believe anyone wants to figure out how to order food in an app at the end of a long tiring day. Absolutely not!! Took us 15 minutes just to order. Server guy was helpful in figuring out the App, had to call him 5 times to help with ordering. Big NO there for me. Still I honestly wonder why some other people were looking at menu cards and ordering. Because of this I would give a 3.5.
