14/03/2026: Unfortunately, the review is negative due to the owner's rudeness. We were the first to arrive at 7:20 PM, but she didn't have time to tell us that the pizzas were excluded from the TheFork promotion. This exclusion isn't listed in the app or when booking, but only in a line at the bottom of the menu. When I complained, the owner stood her ground and refused to accommodate me. She may have earned €7 gross for a non-discounted pizza, but she lost us and the people we know as customers. I should point out that this is the third time we've dined here, and the previous times weren't great either. I don't recommend the porcini mushroom polenta crostini, which tastes like nothing, nor the porcini mushroom tagliata for the same reason and because the meat is tough.

11/03/2026: Very nice and welcoming place! We had a really good time during our lunch, from the welcome to the food. The spaghetti with tomato sauce, burrata, and pistachios was simple but fabulous! We'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. See you soon 🤗

19/04/2026: Had a lovely meal here with my family, the restaurant is decorated with lots of lovely artwork and the staff were extremely welcoming and funny. I had the Capricciosa pizza and the cheesecake (both SO good), prices were great for good portion sizes, relaxed atmosphere and would definitely return if in Florence :)

13/09/2025: I had a lovely meal at the piadineria; the quality of the piadinas was excellent and the ingredients were fresh. The curly-haired clerk who served me was truly kind, helpful, and excellent at handling every request with professionalism. However, it doesn't seem normal to leave just one clerk to manage the entire shop, especially on a Saturday, on a busy day like today with the Empoli Comics event. It would be better to have more staff to ensure smoother service and less stress for the staff.

19/08/2025: Zero courtesy, at least at the branch inside the Coop in Empoli. I calmly asked for a piadina at the counter because it was listed on the screen, but the automatic touchscreen didn't suggest it. I received a rude response. I took it and turned away.

05/11/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by the restoration of this historic Impruneta establishment. Strategically located, it overlooks the large square in front of the basilica. A beautiful pergola offers shelter and tranquility. I haven't tried the restaurant, but if the quality and abundance match the pastry shop, I'll definitely try it. The staff is friendly and helpful.

27/09/2025: It was an unforgettable experience! We had hiked 10km and wanted to rest and have lunch. A wedding was taking place in this restaurant. However, a kind waitress allowed us to stay in the garden and enjoy lunch a little further away, without disturbing the wedding guests. After 10 minutes, it started to rain and after another 5 minutes, a storm with hail, wind and heavy rain began. We ran inside. Our waitress gave us towels to dry ourselves with and arranged an improvised table for us in one of the auxiliary rooms. We ate the pince-nez that we ordered for the first time and they were divine. As was the wine and our joy at such a hospitable reception in circumstances where the staff could simply say that it was a private event and the restaurant was closed.

13/03/2026: We ordered two tagliata with sides. The tagliata arrived after 10 minutes (so the timing is appreciable), but instead of receiving the whole slice of meat cut into large pieces, we received cold, roast beef-like slices. This circumstance didn't even make me appreciate the quality of the meat. The impression that they had been prepared a long time ago and not cooked specifically for us is very strong. I will definitely not return.

09/03/2026: Terrible experience. I went today for a simple coffee and a glass of water. I want to clarify this so the girl from tonight remembers and understands. I hope she was just being presumptuous, given her relatively young age, which is both pleasing and thought-provoking. I politely ask for a macchiato and a glass of water, which I've already paid for. She says, "Okay, she'll make me a coffee and, I presume, forgotten the water. I ask her for it, and instead of apologizing or saying, "Sure, I'll give it to you right away," she arrogantly asks, "Did you pay for it?" So there's a fundamental problem here, even before asking whether I paid for it or not. That is, not only is she incapable of behaving well with customers, but she also doesn't even do her job, which would be expected, but really, nothing can be expected. It's a shame, because pastry can be good. But relax a bit, and if that's not possible, change jobs.

08/03/2026: (I'm giving it one star only because otherwise it won't let me publish the review.) I came to this pastry shop to order a birthday cake, but unfortunately the result was completely different from what I had requested. First of all, I had asked for a cake for about 15 people, but I was delivered a cake weighing about 5 kg, which was decidedly disproportionate to my request. Furthermore, the cake did not reflect the specifications provided in any way: neither the color, nor the shape, nor the agreed-upon decorations were respected. And they voluntarily added fruit, which would have been a major problem if any of us had allergies. Added to this was the price (€180), which was decidedly excessive for what we requested and the final result. I was kind enough to accept it without any fuss, but I will definitely never come back.
