14/03/2026: Unfortunately, the review is negative due to the owner's rudeness. We were the first to arrive at 7:20 PM, but she didn't have time to tell us that the pizzas were excluded from the TheFork promotion. This exclusion isn't listed in the app or when booking, but only in a line at the bottom of the menu. When I complained, the owner stood her ground and refused to accommodate me. She may have earned €7 gross for a non-discounted pizza, but she lost us and the people we know as customers. I should point out that this is the third time we've dined here, and the previous times weren't great either. I don't recommend the porcini mushroom polenta crostini, which tastes like nothing, nor the porcini mushroom tagliata for the same reason and because the meat is tough.

11/03/2026: Very nice and welcoming place! We had a really good time during our lunch, from the welcome to the food. The spaghetti with tomato sauce, burrata, and pistachios was simple but fabulous! We'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. See you soon 🤗

02/09/2025: Politeness first. My mom and I came in for an aperitif. We ordered two non-alcoholic drinks, and my mom politely asked for some snacks. The bartender replied, "I only have two hands," with an annoyed expression. Rudeness is synonymous with ignorance. If dealing with customers is a problem, then I highly recommend changing careers.

13/09/2025: I had a lovely meal at the piadineria; the quality of the piadinas was excellent and the ingredients were fresh. The curly-haired clerk who served me was truly kind, helpful, and excellent at handling every request with professionalism. However, it doesn't seem normal to leave just one clerk to manage the entire shop, especially on a Saturday, on a busy day like today with the Empoli Comics event. It would be better to have more staff to ensure smoother service and less stress for the staff.

19/08/2025: Zero courtesy, at least at the branch inside the Coop in Empoli. I calmly asked for a piadina at the counter because it was listed on the screen, but the automatic touchscreen didn't suggest it. I received a rude response. I took it and turned away.

15/03/2026: I'm not from the area, I just happened upon it. The gelato is truly delicious and the owner is incredibly kind. My only complaint is that the price-to-quantity ratio could be a little better, but it's still worth stopping by.

07/02/2026: Gelateria Talenti on Via Canova is a guarantee. Open late and year-round, it's perfect for both a sudden craving for gelato in the evening and a sweet treat off-season. The gelato is high-quality and offers a wide selection of flavors, from classics to more sophisticated treats. The fruit flavors are a summer favorite: fresh, light, and absolutely perfect.

26/10/2025: While the food is excellent, the quality of the takeout service needs improvement. We booked for 1 pm and received our order at 1:40 pm. People who walked in and ordered directly at the counter were quicker. If I order for pickup at a certain time, I expect it to be respected, and I can excuse a ten-minute delay, not a 40-minute one.

25/12/2025: I've been a customer for 40 years, ever since the two sisters who owned it were behind the counter and it was one of the best pastry shops in Florence, renowned for its sublime Millefoglie, and on Sundays at any time the pastry counter was fully stocked with pastries of every kind. Today, I'm sorry to say, it's become a simple breakfast bar. The pastry counter is bare, it no longer exists, the millefoglie is not even comparable to the tradition of the past. Florence has definitively lost a historic pastry shop full of tradition. Today was the last time I bought a millefoglie. It's not worth coming from Prato to buy a banal and anonymous millefoglie. 09/04/2026: this was the absolute best meal my wife and I had during our beautiful Alghero stay! My wild boar ragu was excellent and the lemon sorbet was the best my wife ever had. The traditional desert... just everything was beyond delicious ...and the host and chef made us feel at home. We HIGHLY recommend this ristorante!! We went twice.

30/11/2025: I ordered five takeout pizzas at 8:45. I had to wait 45 minutes for them to be made. The pizzas were awful, I definitely won't be back.

23/11/2025: We didn't have time to take a photo because we devoured the pizza as soon as it arrived 😅 Good, delicious, excellent! Not a single crumb was left! We tried the charcoal-fired dough, and I must say it was truly light and very digestible. The pizza of the day was the summer pizza, with prosciutto and stracciatella—help me tell you how tasty it was! The service was impeccable, too! The place may be a little out of the way, but it's worth coming back for a proper pizza!

22/12/2025: The hotel we stayed at directed us here for breakfast. It is indeed a very busy place, especially in the mornings. However, the tea and coffee cups and plates they gave us were dirty, poorly washed, and had clearly visible large stains. We took the cups to the counter and asked them to replace them properly. They replaced one of the cups, but apparently thought the stains on the other one were “normal” (a male waiter with an earring—his name was probably Lorenzo—and a dark-haired female waiter who did not speak English). The male waiter started shouting, slammed the cups on the table, pushed them toward me, and said, “Only the outside is dirty, the inside is clean.” He did not replace the cup and said something in Italian to the other waiter (most likely something offensive about us). After that, no one working there apologized or did anything to make up for the situation. When I asked to speak with the manager, they said, “He is not here right now.” As a result, there are no clean cups in this place! If you ask for a clean cup, they shout at you (and most likely curse at you in Italian, assuming you won’t understand). I do not believe that a place that finds it acceptable to serve drinks in dirty cups can be hygienic in its other products either. It is sad that such disrespectful people work in a venue that has been operating for over 100 years. I would not recommend this place to anyone—complete disappointment. In my opinion, it doesn’t even deserve one star, but unfortunately there is no option to give zero star!!
