28/09/2025: I don't like it at all, it's much better in terms of consumption

11/08/2025: Bar, newsstand, restaurant, grocery store... but especially a bakery and pastry shop... When you walk in, you'll have a hard time not taking home a whole schiacciata, and maybe a few bags of sweets... that's why, when you ride your motorcycle around here, it's always a good idea to have your bags packed ;-)

22/10/2025: Door was open, lights were on but no one was there to greet us. We walked to the back to find a staff member on his phone just rudely waving us away. We tried to ask if they could sit 4 of us, since they presented as open, and the staff member was probably the rudest ive ever experienced. Dont give these people your money, they dont deserve it.

09/10/2025: Delicious steak and risotto. Waiter was very kind and helpful throughout the night as well.

05/11/2025: One of the bars in the Empoli shopping center, it boasts an advantage over the others: it's located right in the middle of the covered terrace that serves as a passageway, and it's also adjacent to one of the entrance escalators. The staff, predominantly female, is friendly and professional. The quality of the products is average for bars without their own pastry shop, and the coffee is decent. It also boasts the added bonus of having tables adjacent to the bar on the balcony.

18/09/2025: I've been going to Capatoast for years, and it never disappoints! The menu offers tons of options: you can create your own or choose from the ones already offered. The portions are always generous, and you leave feeling full and satisfied. It's the perfect place for a quick meal, especially for students and university students. For me, it's a guaranteed success, every time🌺

11/10/2025: We stumbled upon this family-run restaurant on Google, and it was definitely worth it. The service was exceptional. I ordered the Papardelle a la Ragu! Wonderful.

28/06/2025: It was a lifesaver when we were looking for somewhere to eat with the kids at lunch. The ambiance... well, :D... But the food was incredibly delicious. Despite a language barrier, the owner tried very hard to explain the daily menu to us! Another good sign was that the restaurant gradually filled up with locals. It's air-conditioned inside, but there are also outdoor seating areas.

20/10/2025: Had dinner last night. Decent pizza. Sliced ​​steak served cold. Fish first course inedible because it smelled bad. Aside from the location and the service, the rest...

18/10/2025: I don't think they'll ever see me again, since I called a week in advance to make a reservation (let me start by saying I'd never been there before), so they asked me over the phone, "What time, ma'am?" and I replied, "8:00 PM." No one said anything. When we arrived, we sat down, and shortly after, the waitress came to ask if we were ready to order (there were obviously two people left at the table). We pointed this out, saying they were 15 minutes late (which is fine, I understand the inconvenience), and were told, "Well, you have to vacate the table at 9:30 PM, I told you on the phone." It was then that I discovered they were working in shifts. No one had mentioned anything on the phone, and if they assumed I knew, well, that was a serious mistake. But in any case, it would be enough to state things clearly: when I pointed out to the lady, who I presume was the restaurant manager, that I hadn't been informed of this on the phone, instead of offering a solution or at least reassuring us, she started saying that she couldn't have failed to tell me, that she always says that, that at that point we could only stay depending on what we ordered because at 9:30 pm the restaurant was full again... are you kidding me?! In an arrogant and disrespectful tone. And I also had a baby in a high chair, so imagine if I'd known, or I wouldn't have faced the problem of having to get her dinner and dinner in an hour. In short, in the end, we stayed, eating as quickly as possible, but frankly, I've never been treated so badly in a restaurant. And at 9:35 pm we were paying. When we left the restaurant at 9:50 pm, our table was still free.

16/11/2025: Great variety and selection. Prices are reasonable. The place is very busy, so it's not very clean. Some of the staff aren't qualified to interact with the public, but others are very attentive and friendly.

15/11/2025: Undoubtedly one of the best pastry shops in Florence. More sweet than savory, and a wide selection of cakes. The pastries are limited, but the products are definitely excellent. Just a little pricey, but worth it!

02/04/2025: Excellent historic ice cream shop. The ice cream is "light", less creamy than others, but with a more authentic and more digestible flavour. Their coffee mousse has been my absolute favorite flavor for 35 years, there is none better. Their cream is delicate, light, lightly flavored with lemon, the only one I eat with gusto, and I don't even like cream ice cream. The stracciatella was excellent. And the other mousses are excellent too. In summer there is the blackberry flavour, a delicious classic. Their "bomb" is an ice cream dessert that has been in production for decades, and it's excellent too. The chocolates and their sacher that you find in the pastry area are also delicious (really delicious). In conclusion, it is a light and artisanal ice cream that few people find nowadays, because in general even artisanal ice creams are now much heavier in terms of ingredients. Flaws: two miserable tables inside and no seats (even public ones) outside, eating on site is not very convenient, standing on the sidewalk. The opening hours aren't easy, it's closed on Sundays, I think it's also closed on Saturdays, in the evening they close early (6pm maybe?) so getting an ice cream at the most classic and obvious times isn't possible, on the weekend you can't, not even after dinner, taking it to friends is difficult because after work it's already closed, strategically I don't understand such limited opening hours, it's a shame.

14/08/2025: You couldn't ask for more! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful! I had a coconut and chocolate yogurt cake made...SUPER! I recommend this place for a healthy and delicious snack or if you need to bring a dessert to a friend's house.

14/10/2025: Wow, what a delight! A little place I didn't know about. We stopped for an aperitif and stayed for dinner (and came back a second time!) sooo ...

28/08/2025: A historic venue in Florence, which has made hospitality its strong point... Over the years, it has reinvented itself and adapted to new trends! Expanded and modernized, but with the same spirit as always! Excellent cocktails, always different aperitifs... Games and events on the big screen! The staff has always been superb...

06/11/2025: This is a lovely place, frequented by locals and staffed by elderly Italian ladies. Think of it like a municipal tea garden or a social facility like the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). The prices are very reasonable. An Aperol and a vermouth cost 8 euros. We paid around 4.5 euros for two croissants and two coffees. The quality is quite good, too. They don't speak English, but it's easy to get along.
