12/07/2025: Not exactly 5 star, but it’s cheap and local and you won’t pay €6 for a croissant like at the trendy tourist places. Does smell like cigarettes if that doesn’t bother you

20/11/2025: We had high hopes for this restaurant because every time we pass by, it looks really nice from the outside, but sadly, we were disappointed. As other customers' comments show, you either love it or hate it. The food had absolutely no flavor: the gnocchi tasted like plastic, the seafood spaghetti tasteless, the fried chicken was like so many others. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was truly good. Ordinary. I won't return.

09/10/2025: What an amazing dinner. Lucia was very kind to help us choose the right dishes as we are vegetarians. She was very attentive to hear each one of our needs. She made our dinner worthwhile. Food was great too. Even their desserts were pretty well done.

30/11/2025: My favorite place ♥️ Every time I pass through Florence I have to go back. Wonderful atmosphere, flowers, objects, furnishings, perfumes, candles, bathrooms, mirrors, everything beautiful. Excellent avocado toast, amazing fries and sweet potato fries. My only comment: the menu could use a couple of slightly more affordable wine and beer options.

29/11/2025: Please don’t waste your time here! We stopped out of curiosity (it’s absolutely beautiful inside) and I was fully intent to buy something until the food & service experience. First off, we weren’t greeted coming in. Looked at and ignored. Tried to cautiously go into the restaurant area until someone noticed us and told us we had to go back to the entrance and ask for a table 10 minutes later. Ok…so after waiting for 15 more minutes for service, we ordered a chai latte and a smoothie since we were just a bit thirsty— please see the video for yourselves. Chai was full of water and no “chai” and the smoothie was (surprise!) full of water. Should’ve just kept it safe and ordered a beer. We tried to drink the wasted euros, but couldn’t even make it halfway. The service was awful and the waiter/barman just stood in their area chatting away and whispering in our direction. Strange behavior! Such a waste of a beautiful building. I repeat: Don’t waste your time!!

24/11/2025: It's a wonderful place, vibrant with many initiatives and deeply rooted in the local area. It has a small café that's often open. Many activities are offered (gymnastics, music, theater, creative projects, lunches, etc.).

14/06/2025: Surrounded by greenery, it is a club full of activities suitable for everyone. Everyone is available and welcoming. The internal room and the external garden are beautiful, the view on the back is very pleasant.

02/12/2025: Oh my goodness! This place is THE best! Best coffee, yummy food and the kindest staff. Haya is not only my favorite barista of all time but is now my new bff! This is a must visit in Florence.

02/11/2025: The pizza and fried foods are excellent, and the desserts are also good. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, and we noticed several slight oversights. I recommend checking the prices carefully, especially the two very simple platters offered off-menu for the modest €60.

05/10/2025: Friendly staff, but the wait was too long. We ordered a fried pizza as an appetizer and waited over 40 minutes, and it wasn't dry. The pizzeria is small, seating about 40 (I made a reservation), but there's only one pizza chef who also makes takeout pizzas, which keep coming in, so all orders are given priority. After waiting for the first pizza, we waited another 20 minutes for the two pizzas that had already been ordered with the appetizer. I had requested a light-colored pizza, but it arrived a bit burnt (while the other was very light, just as I would have liked). The pizzeria door remains open to make it easier, and I think also as a sign of friendliness for those waiting for takeout, but they often smoke while waiting, and the smell of cigarettes permeates the pizzeria. Very interesting pizzas. Average quality of ingredients.

28/09/2025: I've been going to Sushi Elis for many years, and when they had the à la carte menu, it was my favorite Japanese/Chinese restaurant. I returned after years, and unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be; I was deeply disappointed. The Cantonese rice tasted mostly of oil, and the nudon spaghetti with shrimp and vegetables tasted almost like vinegar. The quality/price ratio is absolutely not there. Since it became an all-you-can-eat restaurant, it's lost the quality that once distinguished it. The service is impeccable, and the place is nice and welcoming, but I'm sorry, I won't be returning. Too bad.

05/10/2025: Waited an hour and a half for only 10 dishes, go ask the reason and they tell you probably they brought it to the wrong table, out of 30 dishes arrived only 10, the strange thing is that for those who arrived later or who ordered later, it arrived immediately, practically you saw your table empty and the others' always full, the funny thing is that neither in the kitchen nor at the sushi bar there were many orders, at the payment it is black they don't give you a receipt. Paid 80 euros for 3 at lunch with the €1.20 discount "discount for inconvenience"

09/11/2025: THEY TALK BEHIND UR BACK IN ITALIAN ENG I went to this place with my American girlfriend to get an ice cream, and the woman at the counter started talking behind our backs in Italian, thinking that I couldn't understand her. We barely had the time to read the flavors that she immediately started laying into us and making jokes. I feel like this is a common practice at this cafe considering how quickly she leaned into it. She then looked at me with a phony smile, asking in "English" if she could serve us. At that point, I simply replied in Italian that it wasn't necessary anymore and "complimented" her service. Needless to say that her smile quickly disappeared. Horrible service, rude staff, and embarrassing manners. PS In case the owner is reading this review, this episode happened yesterday afternoon (Friday, the 22nd of August, 2025). The woman who served us had curly/wavy black hair and looked in her 40s. ITA I went to this place with my American girlfriend for gelato, and when the lady behind the counter heard we were speaking English, she immediately started making fun of us in Italian, thinking I couldn't understand her. We'd barely had time to read the flavors when the lady immediately started making jokes about us. Considering how quickly she commented, I think this is common practice there. At one point, the lady looked at me with a smile, asking in "English" if she could help us. I replied in Italian, saying it wasn't necessary and thanking her for her "service." Needless to say, the smile quickly disappeared. Horrible experience, rude staff, and embarrassing mannerisms. PS. 28/10/2025: Decent place with little parking but I ate a good and abundant first course carbonara and I must say that I liked it a lot, however for the second course of goulash the meat was not really exceptional, but in my opinion the cooking and the meat need to be reviewed a little... for the rest everything is ok I will go back

07/09/2025: We had dinner by chance at this restaurant on a narrow street leading to the city center. The place is small but clean, and the outdoor tables are truly charming. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful, not to mention the fast and efficient service despite the large number of customers. The food was excellent; I had an amazing eggplant parmigiana and fabulous truffle gnudi. I'm convinced that the ingredients used are the result of meticulous research, as is the presentation of the dishes.

19/08/2025: A beautiful pub, served by Rohan (Baffetto), who was helpful and very kind, with a very interesting selection of music and alcohol! Understood or not.

20/10/2025: A beautiful, under-appreciated property. The grounds are stunning, and so is the pool area, though it's poorly maintained. The hedges need trimming, leaves, and clutter from the loungers make it look almost abandoned. The rooms are of questionable taste, with the gold headboard, which, even though it was created by an artist, is a bit too dramatic and unpleasant. Breakfast definitely needs improvement. The coffee and cappuccino machine is no good; they're undrinkable! The fruit juices are sugar water and you can tell they're really poor quality. Before 10 a.m., some items had already run out and weren't refilled. The staff is friendly, but room cleanliness definitely needs improvement; there's a bin with waste from previous guests.

16/10/2025: The rooms are mediocre. Overall, the place is very good. The building is beautiful, the grounds are pleasant to walk around, and there are lovely views. There's also a pool area and a terrace on the property. The staff speaks English and is very attentive.
