I went to this restaurant for a lunch with friends, we ate very well, especially the first courses and the meat are really worth trying, even the cantucci with vinsanto are really good! Really very friendly and kind staff, super recommended!!

Definitely one of the best dining experiences of my life. Stunning place, set in one of the most beautiful and characteristic villages (in Tuscany) that can be found in Italy. Courteous, competent and helpful service. Dishes of the highest quality, from the first courses (all: superlative ravioli), on which the pici all'aglione stand out (never eaten anything like it!), to the meats and finally to the desserts (excellent tiramisu). Absolutely worth trying again. Make a reservation, the place fills up (rightly) quickly. Park just outside the Borgo.

Being the only restaurant open in the whole village, we decided to try it and we were very satisfied. Very kind staff.

We went last night, friendly and very kind service, delicious homemade pasta, mixed grill with wonderful steak, and what can I say about the superb panna cotta. I recommend it for a local cuisine experience. Compliments to the chef

Ho cenato qui, in comitiva con amici, nei giorni del ponte dell’Immacolata. Che dire? In questo bel borgo antico nella Terra del Chianti, la trattoria di Otello è vera e genuina. Non è qui da ieri: in sala anche il figlio Luigi ed in cucina il giovane nipote Matteo. Tre generazioni di ottima cucina toscana. Nel menù che è recitato a voce ci sono in pratica tutti i piatti della cucina fiorentina. Vale dire ribollita, pici con l’aglione, tagliatelle al sugo d’anatra e via dicendo che spesso cono offerti insieme con una serie di generosi assaggi. E poi la carne: ottima, saporita. Dalla bistecca, al filetto, alla tagliata o allo stracotto: imbarazzo della scelta. Per non dir di quella di maiale. C’è un vino della casa di… default, ma la cantina è varia e si possono scegliere bottiglie interessanti. Grande senso dell’ospitalità e tanta cortesia. I prezzi sono più che ottimi.
