Wow, what a fantastic trattoria. It was one of the best fish soups we’ve ever had. Be sure to ask for the house speciality (it’s not on the menu). The friendly owner recommends the food! There are hardly any tourists here and it’s authentic Italian cuisine! Highly recommended and a real hidden gem! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Highly recommended! We arrived directly from Pisa airport and were welcomed around 3 pm, and we were so lucky to have been able to eat there! The food was all delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses... Everything was outstanding. And what's more, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were so lucky to have been able to eat there, thank you so much for everything!

Having just arrived from Pisa airport, we contacted them via WhatsApp and, even though it was late for their usual opening hours, they told us they would welcome us without any problem. The service at La Antica Trattoria di Piero was exceptional from the very first moment. Federico gave us excellent advice on everything and made us feel right at home. The homemade food was spectacular, a 10 out of 10, and he even recommended ordering the house wine to save money… and, like everything else, it was a total success. A highly recommended place if you're looking for authenticity, good food, and friendly, honest service.

Fresh flowers on the table, super helpful, kind, and friendly staff. Many of the products used are locally sourced (Coldiretti market), so the dishes are incredibly good. Yes, some things could be improved, but overall, everything is truly delicious. Congratulations

Well, this is my third time at Piero's, so I think I can give you an informed opinion. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, both inside and outside, in a covered gazebo. Air conditioning inside ensures good comfort, while the outside shade is provided by a cover and side screens. The furnishings are minimal but decidedly well-designed for the quality of the place. Let's get to the dishes: 1) spaghetti allo scoglio (spaghetti with seafood), it's been ages since I've had such delicious seafood spaghetti, so much so that I'd even eaten the same dish at Michelin-starred restaurants in the Viareggio area. 2) spaghetti with smoked salmon and zucchini, a delight, with top-quality salmon and slightly crunchy zucchini, a true explosion of flavor. 3) lampredotto with salsa verde (lampredotto with green sauce), literally devoured. For those who don't mind this type of meat, this is a must-try dish, with an exceptionally balanced green sauce and the overall flavor of a gourmet dish. 4) the puff pastry with cream, I can't tell you what else, you'll find it better in one pastry shop out of twenty! 5) the coffee, aka the sore point of many restaurants... well... here you can ALSO enjoy a coffee as the gods command!!!! And what about the bill? Prices are decidedly very, very reasonable. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I love this place and will definitely visit again as soon as I can. Finally, don't miss a visit to Antica Trattoria da Piero.

Stellar experience! Chef Maya was so kind to make a vegetarian friendly Georgian meal for us. The dishes were absolutely delicious and the service was friendly. We had a sampler of their homemade desserts and everything was heavenly! Looking forward to coming back! Thanks for the fabulous lunch!

Piero is a friendly and sociable person, excellent and tasty dishes, quality dishes, the braised cheek a little salty but excellent, good house wine 🍷🍷 excellent value for money.
