I dined here with my wife, daughter, and a friend. The welcome was incredibly warm, with limited seating but well-distributed. The view of Montecristo and Pianosa was breathtaking. The owner rattles off the dishes his mother prepares with passion and attention to detail. Everything was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The price paid was worth the space and the service. The only drawback is the complete lack of parking, but that's the case for practically all of Capoliveri. However, although not widely advertised, there are several free parking lots and a free shuttle that takes you from the parking lot near the cemetery and sports field to within walking distance of the center. Then there are the "cool" ones who like to park like VIPs... But that's another story 😜 If you're on Elba and want a special evening, go for dinner here; it's worth it. P.S. Book well in advance! UPDATE 2026 After 6 long years, I finally returned last night... I can't confirm what I wrote previously, but I wish I could say more... the friendliness and presentation are superb... (the plump mussels 😁). Everything was simply delicious, and the location, especially at sunset, was dreamy. The parking problem remains unchanged, but if you go by scooter, there's plenty of parking. Remember, water causes rust... bring the wine!

Book early, it's totally worth it! Excellent food, informal and fun service, and incredibly friendly service. The view is unparalleled. A truly wonderful evening.

A stunning terrace location with breathtaking views. There are very few tables, so reservations are essential. The food is excellent, and the prices are commensurate with the quality. Must try!

We visited this restaurant based on the reviews, and it more than met our expectations. Splendid views of the islands of Montecristo and Pianosa, a peaceful atmosphere, and excellent, authentic cuisine, abundant and with authentic flavors. Great attention to guests, and the service provided by the two brothers creates a casual and welcoming atmosphere. The choice to keep seating limited and create a more intimate atmosphere is admirable. You feel pampered.

We dined at this splendid trattoria this evening—my partner, our son Lorenzo, and I—and discovered a small, family-run gem with just a few intimate seats, where time seems to slow down to make room for beauty. ​The location is simply poetry for the eyes. Dining here means taking in a breathtaking view that stretches all the way to the islands of Pianosa and Corsica, painted against the backdrop of an endless sea. ​But the true guardian of this magic is Daniele. His ability to manage guests goes far beyond professionalism: Daniele makes you feel at home, pampers you, and transforms reading the menu into a passionate story. Hearing him describe each individual dish, with a delicate and almost lyrical tone, literally makes your mouth water even before the dishes arrive on the table. Added to this is a rare talent for suggesting the perfect wine, capable of pairing with and enhancing every choice. His extraordinary attention to detail was evident: he immediately won over our little Lorenzo, dedicating a special thought to him and even giving him a small gift that made him feel special. The dishes are true masterpieces of balance and exquisiteness. The kitchen masters the unusual art of pairing fresh fish with fruit and vegetables, creating combinations that don't overpower the ingredients, but elevate and enhance their flavors in surprising ways. An experience that touches the heart and the palate. If you seek the true essence of hospitality and good food, this "garden" will enchant you.

We visited this wonderful little restaurant and found it intimate, yet, thanks to its family management, we immediately felt at ease. The service was impeccable and, above all, friendly and competent. What can I say about the food? I ate probably the best seafood dish I've ever tasted... Chocolate-dyed ravioli filled with smoked salmon, crab meat, shrimp, and orange and lime garnished with a delicately spicy pumpkin and chili cream. The main courses were also excellent: prawns, pistachio- and peanut-crusted tuna, and the desserts were beautiful and delicious, although, for my personal taste, a little too sweet. The prices, considering the quality of the ingredients used, were absolutely reasonable. If you come to Capoliveri, you absolutely must try it. Since it's not a particularly large restaurant, advance reservations are a must. I forgot perhaps the most important thing: the spectacular view from the terrace! Everything deserves top marks! Also, if you're not on the terrace, as people finish dinner, the owners move guests up to the terrace so everyone can enjoy the view... how kind!

We dined at this family-run trattoria, and we have to say it was a wonderful experience...very well-executed, tasty dishes, and always beautiful to look at, which never hurts. Fair prices for what's served, and impeccable service. And what can I say about the location, a terrace on the Capoliveri coast, where everything is under the lure of the sea. I can only compliment the staff!! And by the way, don't park in the lot below the restaurant; it's for residents...the ones at the entrance to town are better.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful evening. Luckily, we were able to book that same evening (Monday) because a table cancelled at the last minute. Otherwise, we would have had to wait until Sunday. I highly recommend booking, as the place is often full. Moving on to the experience, we were greeted by the host, who immediately made us feel at ease and then, while we were ordering, he conveyed all his passion and love for the restaurant. The menu is varied and will likely satisfy all palates. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is romantic and tranquil. At the end of the meal, we were invited to move to the terrace, and what can I say: spectacular! We were so satisfied that we had no choice but to book for our last evening on the island to end the meal on a high note! ❤️
