A beautiful stone restaurant with outdoor dining options. We went for the first time and it was a pleasant discovery. Excellent food and attentive, courteous service. The gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts and the tortelli were truly excellent, not to mention the scaloppine with mushrooms and the fried mushrooms. A green space for conversation and a cool drink. Would definitely return. Low noise level. Also suitable for groups. Ample parking.

Welcoming location with traditional Tuscan cuisine. We had dinner with friends. Everything was very good. A mix of cold cuts, cheeses, pizza, and pasta dishes. Quick and friendly service. Average prices. I recommend it to everyone.

The restaurant is located in Castelvecchio, in the Valleriana above Pescia, right next to the parish church in a beautiful location, overlooking the valley and offering outdoor seating on the terrace on nice days. Traditional Tuscan cuisine, generous portions. The pappardelle with wild boar, the homemade pasta dishes, and the Tuscan tripe are excellent. The pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, is very good. The tagliata and wild boar with olives are also excellent. The service is fast, although the place can sometimes get crowded; reservations are recommended. Convenient parking in front. Suitable for families, couples, and groups. I would gladly return.

09/06/2026: We had a delicious meal! Porcini mushrooms as a starter and the Fiorentina as the main course. And then everything was paired with lovely wines: a Vermentino to start and a Chianti with the main course. The dessert was partly prepared at the table. Finally, a delicious amaro!
09/06/2026: At the invitation of the owners of our rental home, we ended up at this non-touristy restaurant. And it turned out to be the best experience of our holiday! My girlfriend and I were the only ones in the place who didn't speak Italian, but we were well assisted by the staff and our party. On their recommendation, we first ordered the trio of tartare and the carpaccio with local mushrooms; unbelievably delicious. Then a fantastic, perfectly grilled gigantic steak. We ate a lot of steak in the area, but this one was truly one of the highlights. To finish, the house dessert: vanilla ice cream, olive oil, pepper, and liqueur... wow, I have never had such a special yet simple dessert; unbelievably delicious!!! Highly recommended! The very friendly chef also came to the table personally a few times to ask in English if everything was alright. It was more than alright; this is a hidden gem in the forests of Montecatini. We will definitely be back someday.

15/06/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance upon arrival in Pistoia. The owner presented us with the set menu and invited us in. We wanted a snack and devoured an excellent Florentine steak... and then we toured the city. N.B.: vegetarians are welcome!
