24/11/2025: We were at this restaurant a couple of years ago and had wonderful memories.
We returned and the experience was terrible.
We ordered an appetizer, three pasta dishes—one plain with oil and one with clams—and three pork shanks.
The three pork shanks were badly cooked, the meat dry and unpalatable.
The pasta was bland.
We left practically everything.
In the end, we had lunch with pieces of bread and oil.
150 euros...never again!
Not so much for the price (although a 12-euro plate of pasta with oil is a joke), because the food and the work must be respected, but also the customers.

Probably among the best, if not the best, pizza I've ever eaten.
Very high-quality ingredients.
The place is welcoming, and the decor creates a pleasant atmosphere.
The service was quite quick, perhaps because it was a weekday and there were few people.
24/10/2025: The pizzas are delicious and very generous at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and the setting is very pleasant. It's an authentic pizzeria.

11/11/2025: A very nice restaurant. Very good food and very friendly service. Pizza is only available in the evenings. It's worth a visit, especially since the prices are very reasonable. It's just a shame the grappa is so expensive (but everywhere in Italy grappa is so damn expensive). I highly recommend it!

A welcoming and authentic atmosphere, truly delicious pizza, and reasonable prices. The place was packed, with many people waiting: a sign that they really know their craft. A simple yet high-quality place, where you can breathe in the authentic Palermo atmosphere.
07/10/2025: We celebrated (half) my son's birthday at this place, at his recommendation, as he had been there before.
After spending €150 for two appetizers, six pizzas, and six cans of drinks, we weren't allowed to open the bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine I had brought with me. So we celebrated his birthday at home, even bringing the cake back with us, something that had never happened at other places in the city.

09/12/2025: Excellent quality and prices. The sfincione is comparable only to homemade, as is tradition. The cannoli survived the sea crossing and made a great impression on the recipient. Everything was exceptional.

08/02/2026: I was here with my friends for a Disney-themed concert, and we had a truly wonderful evening. The food was good and well-seasoned, and the staff was always friendly and helpful despite the crowds. We can't wait to come back 🫶🏻
07/02/2026: Minas Tirith deserves a 5-star rating. Live music (a rarity these days), excellent beer, natural, quality burgers with no chemical flavors, and reasonable prices. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the Celtic setting is incredibly evocative: stepping inside feels like you've been transported to another world. For those like me who love Nordic and British vibes, it's the perfect place.

But overall, it's okay.
16/01/2026: There were three of us, and they seated us at the large central table. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the food is made with high-quality ingredients. I've been there many times and always love returning. Highly recommended!

During our tour of Trinacria we always found kind and helpful people, when in Palermo (4 days) under our B&B we met Diego and his wife we had confirmation that, as the title of the review says, certain things are in your blood, you can't invent them... 10/01/2026: Disappointing. The cod's batter was extremely salty, and the swordfish was very dry. We ordered a side of "insalata verde," which turned out to be a bowl full of iceberg lettuce (luckily we were able to send it back). The penne bronte was decent, but lacked flavor. The total bill came to €72.50 for barely eating anything.
05/01/2026: The biggest plus is the atmosphere and decor. The appetizers are very good. The pasta was a bit too heavy for me, and I've had better carbonaras. The recommended wine was very good. Perhaps it would have been more atmospheric with dimmer lighting. We had a waiter who was probably just learning, but the others were very nice and helpful. Maybe one minus: the less-than-polite remark about how to eat cannoli (not everyone can or wants to bite them, for example, after dental work, where it's more convenient to share them). I felt like I'd committed a cardinal sin. You can point out something, give someone a small tip, but this wasn't a very pleasant remark.
