I always make a point of visiting a Michelin-starred restaurant during my travels, so I made a reservation in advance to visit during my trip to Sicily as well.
To start with the conclusion, I am not sure if it was worth the 200 euros per person price tag.
While there were experimental and creative menu items, the flavors of the food were generally not very pleasant. The service and atmosphere were befitting of fine dining, but the English descriptions of the dishes were generally difficult to understand.
If asked if I would visit again, the answer is no.
There are plenty of alternatives where you can dine for 400 euros for two people, including tip.

30/06/2026: The owners are incredibly kind. I went with my nine-year-old daughter who is celiac. They let her try the panelle and crocchè and even offered her some French fries. Other than that, their products aren't good; they actually seem to contain gluten. I highly recommend them if you're in the area and have celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or lactose intolerance.

06/07/2026: Nice atmosphere, soft lighting, friendly service, and very little waiting.
The pizza was delicious, perhaps one of the best in the area, but the prices were significantly higher than other pizzerias in the area, with a cover charge of €2.50 per person, a price for which I'd expect at least tablecloths. A small beer was €4.50. A bit too much. Also, given the final bill of €101, I would have thought it more courteous to lower it to €100, but I understand that's a request that doesn't necessarily have to be granted.

07/07/2026: Bartender rolled his eyes when we came in the door. They are exceptionally pretentious, condescending and rude to tourists and travellers. We got a gin and tonic and a small beer for €12 and they were both extremely basic and lacked any depth of flavour. Definitely avoid if you are a tourist. They obviously don’t like them.
08/06/2026: It was my first evening of vacation, and I was thrilled to be enjoying a nice glass of wine in a lovely setting. The bartender had the nerve to sigh twice in annoyance in front of me because I hesitated for seven seconds between two wines. It's really awful to do that, even if you're having a bad day. Go for a run if people annoy you.

25/04/2026: The structure itself isn't very interesting, just a stone observation tower, about 400 years old. It's locked with four bolts and a chain. Benches and an information board are located nearby. Nearby are pleasant small beaches. There's a small, free parking lot by the beach. To get here, you need to exit the highway well in advance.

02/05/2026: I ordered Big cup of 50/50 Coffee / Pistachio taste.
Coffee taste was bitter, so it was really similar to coffee, yet I tried sweeter variants. Pistachio was good, it was sweeter than I tried in other gelateries and it didn't have salty aftertaste (which I generally like).

17/07/2026: All the pastas were really tasty. Homemade and rich flavour. Daily chages in the menu which shows is fresh.
Staff were quick and helpful too.
16/07/2026: Giving two stars because my pasta was nice. The antipasti plate was not, sending half of it back to the kitchen uneaten. The service was very slow despite not being busy. The staff all look unhappy and can sense they are being watched by owners/management.
As mentioned in another review, the music is horrendously loud. For the entire time the TV was set to a Youtube channel playing AI slop reggae, over and over again, the generic, repetitive sounding songs. Combine with the owner watching TikTok on his phone at full volume throughout, even leaving his phone playing at the table as he went to the till to collect money from people. Honestly it was a sensory overload nightmare.

02/06/2026: We came here on the recommendation of locals who said the pizza was excellent, but we won’t be coming back.
The ingredients were high-quality and the pizza tasted very good, but the crust was really dry.
We tried both the Roma pizza (thin crust) and the version they describe as having thick crusts like Neapolitan pizza, but it resembled Neapolitan pizza only in the height of the crusts, not in the texture or moisture content of the dough.
Overall, it’s a shame, because the ingredients used were very good.
