10/10/2025: A lovely, authentic village. The staff was very friendly and the sandwiches were delicious. It was very clean.

21/11/2025: A touristy restaurant, home-cooked dishes using low-quality ingredients (the spice rack contained Lidl products). The staff were young and inexperienced. We ordered an appetizer and two first courses, and they brought us two appetizers and a first course! The location was super simple... if I were to return to Palermo, I wouldn't go back.

11/11/2025: The food is okay, with a nice local touch and feeling. Was delighted with the pasta fresca sarde e finocchietto, grilled polpo with pistachio cream was delicious as well. Giuseppe was a very nice, friendly, and amiable waiter and host. The only thing missing was good extra virgin olive oil. This is not just the case at Da Bacco, but at many other restaurants in Palermo, Sicily, and Italy in general. It’s a shame that in the country known for some of the world’s best olive oils, the majority of restaurants and trattorias serve poor-quality EVOO.

25/11/2025: We had a burger at Palermo and it was excellent—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The ambiance was really pleasant, and the service was outstanding. The staff were friendly and professional, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal in a lovely setting!

09/11/2025: At Romano's, I can say I enjoyed it. My partner ate her usual pasta dishes. After a misunderstanding with the second course, which she'd order individually at other places (half carbonara and half cacio e pepe, but never forcing the other diner), we devoured pumpkin (I don't know if it was frozen), well-cooked without too much oil, mozzarella in carrozza, a delicious lamb chop (where foreigners looked at me askance because I ate with my hands), and...now it's your turn to try it. I love second courses, so I'll try new dishes again, always leaving the first courses to my better half. The price...could be better, but we're talking about unique cuisine. The downside...parking, 20 minutes of driving around, and we parked 1.5 km away, and we weren't sure if we had to pay for scratch cards (hard to find) on Saturdays. Otherwise, we were satisfied, and the staff was patient and helpful, even when we asked to take the rest of the dishes away.

03/11/2025: Great small restaurant a short way from Teatro Garibaldi, on a not-too-busy street corner. Nice outside seating and nice inside as well. Very good servers make sure you're happy throughout, but are not a nuisance. I had the delicious eponymous pasta dish (Tonnarelli Magna Roma) and an eponymous drink, the Spritz Magna Roma. Both were terrific and reasonably priced. The drink was somewhat darker and made me think of a Negroni Spritz (which I have not seen). The pasta was a more interesting variation on the carbonara, with mushrooms and crunchy artichoke slices. Very good! Another time I had tonnarelli pasta with zucchini, and it was delicious! Spicy accents of black pepper in the cheesy sauce, and wonderful grilled zucchini. And they are known for their Cacio e Pepe, a classic Roman dish that they do very well! Very pleasant and relaxing place. I'm a regular now!

09/09/2025: We had a great time at Baglio Ciachea! We visited for dinner as a family of six, the place is just gorgeous and super chill. The menu was vast and many options were available. We tried several pasta dishes and different appetizers - food was great and service was also really good. Would recommend if you are staying in the area of Capaci!

10/10/2025: An evening in Palermo at a real pizzeria! 🍕 A welcoming and authentic atmosphere, truly delicious pizza, and reasonable prices. The place was packed, with many people waiting: a sign that they really know their craft. A simple yet high-quality place, where you can breathe in the authentic Palermo atmosphere.

07/10/2025: We celebrated (half) my son's birthday at this place, at his recommendation, as he had been there before. After spending €150 for two appetizers, six pizzas, and six cans of drinks, we weren't allowed to open the bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine I had brought with me. So we celebrated his birthday at home, even bringing the cake back with us, something that had never happened at other places in the city.

15/11/2025: Oh my goodness, it's delicious. We went to this restaurant this summer, it was really good. The outdoor dining area was airless and really hot, but it was very nice. Delicious food. Really good pizza, filled with ingredients of decidedly above-average quality. The plate of pasta was amazing, large and each thing better than the other. It's a bit pricey, but highly recommended for how fresh and delicious it is. Congratulations, I can't wait to go back.

01/11/2025: It's impossible not to enjoy the appetizer, pizza, and dessert! Their reputation was immediately confirmed: the pizza dough is light, the toppings are balanced, and the QUALITY is top notch! Recommended!!!

09/11/2025: I've never received a stinking cuttlefish dish, immediately returned it, specifying the reason, and found it included in the bill for €30.00. I pointed out the lapse in style, with respect to fundamental rules that apply to restaurant relationships, but to no avail. I was met with a wall of arrogance and probably also ignorance regarding the aforementioned rules. I paid, hoping to never encounter such workers rescued from unemployment again.

05/11/2025: We celebrated my daughter's birthday once again. It's enough to mention the reservation: at my first mention, the response was "I'll say yes, call me tomorrow and we'll make the arrangements." Then, on site, as always, the staff were professional and the wait times were more than decent (on a Saturday, for 11 young people and 4 other guests at a separate table). Everyone, from the manager to the staff, was always helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere was pleasant, as always. The pizza was very good and easy to digest, as always. Thank you, and let's leave aside some of the scathing reviews.

16/10/2025: The bar is very cute, recently renovated in a modern style. It's famous for its calzones and croissants, but you can also enjoy much more (baked anelletti, various rotisserie dishes).

26/10/2025: We were recommended the cannoli from this ice cream shop if we wanted to take some excellent cannoli back to Spain. We ordered them the day before, and they were perfectly prepared for us to take on the plane. They arrived perfectly and were very good.
