10/01/2026: Disappointing. The cod's batter was extremely salty, and the swordfish was very dry. We ordered a side of "insalata verde," which turned out to be a bowl full of iceberg lettuce (luckily we were able to send it back). The penne bronte was decent, but lacked flavor. The total bill came to €72.50 for barely eating anything.
05/01/2026: The biggest plus is the atmosphere and decor. The appetizers are very good. The pasta was a bit too heavy for me, and I've had better carbonaras. The recommended wine was very good. Perhaps it would have been more atmospheric with dimmer lighting. We had a waiter who was probably just learning, but the others were very nice and helpful. Maybe one minus: the less-than-polite remark about how to eat cannoli (not everyone can or wants to bite them, for example, after dental work, where it's more convenient to share them). I felt like I'd committed a cardinal sin. You can point out something, give someone a small tip, but this wasn't a very pleasant remark.

11/04/2026: We were served by Gerico, a very nice guy who speaks fluent Italian, English, and, I assume, Spanish. We arrived around 2:40 PM and were able to order à la carte (but there's also an all-you-can-eat option). We chose Chinese dishes, not sushi. Everything was delicious. We also ordered four portions of rice to go, and Gerico prepared everything for us, adding a little oil and cutlery. It's a pleasure to see smiling people serving. I absolutely recommend it, especially for the kindness and service.

04/01/2026: A really nice place, on a side street off the main promenade, so it's quiet and atmospheric. The food is very good. One of the nicest restaurants we've been to in Palermo. The service is very friendly and professional. Good wine selection. Everything is fresh and tasty.

20/12/2025: My wife ordered the Acquario spaghetti, which she didn't quite like, and she left almost the entire plate. The dish was removed from the bill, with the management's apologies, and was fairly and honestly dismissed. The other dishes were very good. We'll definitely be back to try the sushi, perhaps.

08/02/2026: Fabbro Bar and Restaurant is truly beautiful. The restaurant and service are elegant, but you can also stop for a coffee or breakfast. We ate lunch inside, although there's also outdoor seating. My pasta with tuna and zucchini was truly delicious and delicate. I also had the amazing zucchini flowers and fried calamari. Everything was delicious.

16/04/2026: Superb — one of the best dinners we had in Palermo.
We had the sardine spaghetti and the fried pasta for the primi, and both were fantastic. The waiter was incredibly calm, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
For dessert, we tried the cassata and the cannoli, and both were amazing. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, and we would definitely recommend this place.
The only small comment is that the bread could be better, preferably made with lievito madre.
15/04/2026: We went on Easter Sunday. The menu was intriguing, and the prices, compared to those in the north, were decidedly attractive.
The restaurant is very beautiful and welcoming. We were impressed by the quality of the dishes, a rare treat with over 100 diners spread across the two rooms. The service was impeccable. The fish was the star, decidedly fresh and presented with great care. The dessert was also excellent.
I recommend it!

Probably among the best, if not the best, pizza I've ever eaten.
Very high-quality ingredients.
The place is welcoming, and the decor creates a pleasant atmosphere.
The service was quite quick, perhaps because it was a weekday and there were few people.
24/10/2025: The pizzas are delicious and very generous at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and the setting is very pleasant. It's an authentic pizzeria.

12/04/2026: At our host's suggestion, we went to this small, impersonal restaurant that has nothing Sicilian about it.
We had an appetizer of mixed fried fish, bavette quid, swordfish rolls, and a prickly pear dessert. There was no wow factor, nothing special.
10/04/2026: Nice and clean place. The owner was very kind. I don't know about the food, as I only managed to eat an appetizer because the service was terrible. It may have been Easter Sunday, and that's understandable, but waiting over an hour for a first course and then, after much insistence, not being satisfied, considering it was just a simple pasta dish with meat sauce, is shameful. I'm giving it three stars solely for the owner, who is very kind and, I think, desperate.
