30/06/2026: The owners are incredibly kind. I went with my nine-year-old daughter who is celiac. They let her try the panelle and crocchè and even offered her some French fries. Other than that, their products aren't good; they actually seem to contain gluten. I highly recommend them if you're in the area and have celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or lactose intolerance.

08/06/2026: A wonderful family-run trattoria, with incredibly friendly service, excellent local cuisine, and excellent appetizers. Low prices for such great food! I highly recommend it; we've been there twice and are thrilled with the food. The best recommendation is that the locals eat there.

06/06/2026: It's a disaster, no one speaks English, the menu only contains tasteless dishes, no seasoning at all, and the service is like stone, the pasta you can order is only tomato-based or tomato-based or tomatoes-based xDDDD

Exceptional desserts, fresh ingredients, and authentic Sicilian pastry flavors. The elegant atmosphere and always friendly and helpful staff make this a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor the best of Palermo's traditional pastries. Highly recommended!

05/05/2026: This is not really a Palazzo anymore, but a museum instead. Upon walking in, the lady at the desk was very kind and told me the next tour was in 45 minutes. I came back only to be led around by a "guide" who was a young woman who clearly hated her job. You are able to scan a QR code to bring up an audio guide on your phone, (they had English & Italian, not sure if any other languages) & listen to a minute or so about each room. The kind lady initially said the audio guide would supplement what the tour guide had to say. My tour guide said absolutely nothing about the museum or artifacts, just did some glaring at our small group & prompting to head to the next room. The museum has a very nice collection, but unfortunately I had a very awful "guide".

23/04/2026: The best sandwich shop in Trieste, in my opinion. Quality ingredients, very fair prices, a varied menu, excellent beers, and a pub-like atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. I recommend booking in advance to avoid getting a spot at the counter; some nights it gets packed!

03/06/2026: We had dinner there as a party of four on Sunday evening. It was definitely the worst restaurant we've eaten at in two weeks in Sicily. In fact, I don't think I've ever had such a bad meal in a restaurant in this price range. It was on par with a school cafeteria: bad, but not exactly toxic. Even the pasta was awful, unbelievable! And I won't even mention the sickly dim lighting in the dining room. I don't understand how anyone could have positive reviews for this restaurant. Or perhaps we were incredibly unlucky, and the night we dined there, all the cooks were on vacation and had emptied the fridges before leaving... the bill was still exorbitant. I slept very poorly the following night, fuming over how badly I'd ruined dinner. Avoid it at all costs! My apologies to the staff, who were alright.

02/05/2026: I ordered Big cup of 50/50 Coffee / Pistachio taste. Coffee taste was bitter, so it was really similar to coffee, yet I tried sweeter variants. Pistachio was good, it was sweeter than I tried in other gelateries and it didn't have salty aftertaste (which I generally like).

28/05/2026: This was by far the best Apero we had on our whole italy trip. We nearly did not walk that far, but it was so worth it! The Aperol was perfect and they delivered Snacks with it complemantary! We absolutely loved it here and enjoyed watching freshly married couples taking their sunset pictures. With the Apero we got crisps, peanuts and filled bread for a more than fair price. So lucky we discovered this place at a parking lot. It might not seem as much - but stop here to enjoy the sunset - absolutely worth it! Thank you so very much!

29/12/2025: Savory for 2 and sweet for 4. The cannoli and cassata are top-notch, but it's a shame the deli is so low-quality.

19/11/2025: The cassata at Bar d'Amore is simply spectacular. Fresh ricotta cream, just the right amount of sweetness, perfect candied fruit, and a soft marzipan that melts in your mouth.
