05/05/2026: This is not really a Palazzo anymore, but a museum instead. Upon walking in, the lady at the desk was very kind and told me the next tour was in 45 minutes. I came back only to be led around by a "guide" who was a young woman who clearly hated her job. You are able to scan a QR code to bring up an audio guide on your phone, (they had English & Italian, not sure if any other languages) & listen to a minute or so about each room. The kind lady initially said the audio guide would supplement what the tour guide had to say. My tour guide said absolutely nothing about the museum or artifacts, just did some glaring at our small group & prompting to head to the next room. The museum has a very nice collection, but unfortunately I had a very awful "guide".

11/01/2026: The food was delicious, the wait staff was incredibly kind, and there's nothing to complain about here either! However, I have to give the owner a very bad review. He's not an honest person. I'll explain right away: sent by a dear friend of his, I booked with The Fork, which offered a 20% discount. I dined without any problems, arrived at the restaurant, and was told twice that desserts weren't included in the discount. So I had no problem paying. When I got home, I checked more closely, did some research, and contacted The Fork customer service... where, in fact, I was told that ALL FOOD, EVEN DESSERTS, were eligible for the discount, except for cover charge and drinks. As I well knew, I've attached photos of proof. That said, I felt scammed. For less than €10, then... I hope they'll come to their senses. Shame on you, never again.

10/01/2026: Good evening, having toured the best restaurants in Palermo in my life, I have never, ever, had such an incredible experience as the one we had at dinner tonight. Even though everything was relatively acceptable, I've personally never been in the position of being ripped off by misleading advertising through The Fork... Gentlemen, think about it... not only is the thought of such people despicable... but even more so is the fact that knowing you'll be welcomed so well, being ripped off at the last minute always calls into question everything you've done beforehand during the dinner and the service, alas, to the detriment of the poor, innocent waiters forced to pay the price because of their owners, who completely believed, not for a moment, that their customers were locals like everyone else and therefore, as decent people, ripped off by your unscrupulousness in ripping us off with misleading advertising... Having come to this... good life...

23/04/2026: The best sandwich shop in Trieste, in my opinion. Quality ingredients, very fair prices, a varied menu, excellent beers, and a pub-like atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. I recommend booking in advance to avoid getting a spot at the counter; some nights it gets packed!

18/05/2026: A wonderful experience at Cappello Pasticceria. A true Palermo institution, where tradition and quality are evident in every detail. Exceptional desserts, fresh ingredients, and authentic Sicilian pastry flavors. The elegant atmosphere and always friendly and helpful staff make this a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor the best of Palermo's traditional pastries. Highly recommended!

27/12/2025: Excellent choice. Excellent Pinza. A cozy and charming place, with just a few people who can even chat among themselves, compared to other places that are too crowded and noisy. Friendly and smiling. And with the 30% discount with TheFork, if you book during off-peak hours, it's also affordable. Highly recommended. Next time we'll be back and try other tasty dishes. Also suitable for vegans like me. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

17/12/2025: I have visited this restaurant with my partner. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. The service has been as excellent as the food. While sitting outside, you could watch the chef preparing the pinsas. Both, food and drinks were reasonably priced. The servers were incredibly courteous.

09/05/2026: I went to Quid and it was a great experience. I had a nicely topped pizza with quality ingredients. It was an experience I would repeat. TOP staff.

08/05/2026: Nice location, the staff were very uptight. Stuck it out and ordered mains. Food was nice, I had tagliatelle negros with shrimp. Nice and tasty. Waitress was Very unpleasant, spoiled the experience. Quickly settled the bill and looked for friendlier pastures.

02/06/2026: We came here on the recommendation of locals who said the pizza was excellent, but we won’t be coming back. The ingredients were high-quality and the pizza tasted very good, but the crust was really dry. We tried both the Roma pizza (thin crust) and the version they describe as having thick crusts like Neapolitan pizza, but it resembled Neapolitan pizza only in the height of the crusts, not in the texture or moisture content of the dough. Overall, it’s a shame, because the ingredients used were very good.

18/05/2026: Great place to enjoy hearty, wholesome meals, all at a reasonable price. The pizza is superb.

13/02/2026: In this enchanting jewel of the Madonite, I stopped at this typical bar/pizzeria/restaurant where I delighted in excellent traditional dishes served with warmth and smiles.

25/04/2026: The structure itself isn't very interesting, just a stone observation tower, about 400 years old. It's locked with four bolts and a chain. Benches and an information board are located nearby. Nearby are pleasant small beaches. There's a small, free parking lot by the beach. To get here, you need to exit the highway well in advance.

09/12/2025: Excellent quality and prices. The sfincione is comparable only to homemade, as is tradition. The cannoli survived the sea crossing and made a great impression on the recipient. Everything was exceptional.

04/05/2026: Last night in Palermo and one of the best meals we’ve had in Sicily !! They made a special agli olio for me off the menu as I wanted a simple vegetarian meal. My partner ordered the salmon , he loved it. And the tiramisu was sooo good so fresh! Highly recommend

12/04/2026: Driving through Collesano, you can't miss the Carricaturi restaurant; right on the main road, you can eat inside or outside. Whether you're looking for a quick bite of pizza or a rotisserie, I highly recommend trying the cuisine; the food is delicious, fresh, and plentiful. Pictured is pasta with macco (dried fava beans), ricotta, and wild fennel. A delicacy!
