Superb — one of the best dinners we had in Palermo.
We had the sardine spaghetti and the fried pasta for the primi, and both were fantastic. The waiter was incredibly calm, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
For dessert, we tried the cassata and the cannoli, and both were amazing. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, and we would definitely recommend this place.
The only small comment is that the bread could be better, preferably made with lievito madre.

We went on Easter Sunday. The menu was intriguing, and the prices, compared to those in the north, were decidedly attractive.
The restaurant is very beautiful and welcoming. We were impressed by the quality of the dishes, a rare treat with over 100 diners spread across the two rooms. The service was impeccable. The fish was the star, decidedly fresh and presented with great care. The dessert was also excellent.

Wow, what a fantastic evening at Osteria Ballarò! We felt right at home. The food was consistently excellent; you could tell that the chefs put their heart and soul into the cooking and use only the finest ingredients. The main courses were already superb, but my absolute favorite was definitely the dessert. It was simply amazing and the perfect finishing touch.
The service was relaxed yet incredibly attentive; we felt truly welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also wonderfully cozy and inviting. If you're ever in Palermo and want to experience truly exceptional cuisine, you absolutely must visit this place. We'll definitely be back next time, if only for the dessert.

This wonderful restaurant was recommended by 2 of our drivers at different times. We went there our last night in Palermo before moving on to Siracusa. Wonderful food, wonderful service, wonderful atmosphere. Even tho it looks and feels like a high end restaurant, prices are very reasonable.
