Food was good , the menu is pretty small and you have to have a pallet for these items. Overall good dinner but take a look at the menu before you go.

The raw appetizer had a nice variation of fish despite personal preferences making the shrimp not enjoyable. The sardine pasta, a Sicilian classic, was good. The special of the evening was pasta with lobster. The sauce was amazing but one of the waiters literally laughed at my friend while she struggled to get the lobster from the shell instead of offering assistance. Felt a bit stuck up/stuffy at times. The hostess was friendly & welcoming & the environment was a fun aesthetic making something older new. Not worth the price, wouldnt run back

Excellent dinner. We were with friends and discovered this restaurant in Piazza Borsa. Unique wine list, excellent service, and the wait staff were truly knowledgeable and friendly. We felt completely relaxed.

Osteria Ballarò is undoubtedly the best place to eat in Palermo. Excellent, high-quality cuisine. A perfect place to fully experience local cuisine. The setting is very elegant, and the staff is friendly and professional. I recommend anyone in Palermo to dine here and enjoy their excellent dishes.

24/07/2026: I had a wonderful dinner here. The monkfish was amazing. Make sure you reserve a table - I went to the restaurant to do this but you can call. Worth the money.

17/05/2026: Delicious food, but be careful when paying. They don't give you a receipt and try to overcharge you. They literally tried to charge us 3 different prices, only the last one was according to the price list. Apologized each time, but it's not a coincidence.
